I pulled a mobile home just like that with a 92 Toyota pickup 4x4, custom built hitch, through Seattle all the way to Kent. So, ya, if the little Toyota can do it just fine that truck would man handle that trailer. My Toyota also pulled a 32ft camper weighing 9500lbs up tiger mountain pass, doing 20mph. It's all about torque, gears, and knowing how to drive...though the Toyota had overheating issues pulling that pass, but I fixed that by removing the hood
I have a 300 in my "65 F100 2WD. The truck weighs 5,300 lbs. I have a 1/2" plate for a fab table on the back. Then a Miller engine generator behind the cab. Telling you that b/c the six handles the weight like there's nothing to it. I should say I have the efi exh mnflds on, two plain jane mufflers...then two short pipes that turn b4 the pass rear tire (less backpressure). Am using a 1V carb. I hardly ever start from a stop in first. 2nd works fine.
The video is an old one I never uploaded. Unfortunately I sold the truck last year. It was a good one. I got the Cherokee so I could haul Benjamin around safely, and we can ride up in the mountains on trails 👍
Currently gonna buy back my 1981 f250 with a 300 and 3 on the tree manual it pulled 5k easily with only 115hp lol low HP engines love less but longer gears
Hands-down, the best Motor ever made. Thank you for the video.
Ahh the 300, it will take it's sweet time but will just pull n pull
Throw a small turbo on it and it pulls like a semi
@@christianscarcella528 By then, it may make more sense to get a diesel or even a bigger gas engine.
Good ol truck. Love my 4.9 half ton. Mine will squat more but it can do a load of chores.

Looks like a keeper.

Nevermind that check engine light, it when it goes out is when i worry lol😊
I’ve sure used that trailer a lot, for storing junk lol
True lol
Put a gooseneck hitch in it. And when you get the $ put a 2pd rear end in it.

Those light Duty F-250s have pretty weak rear springs (And a weaker rear axle.)
It doesnt weigh anything. You dont have mountains like Colorado.
