Just an FYI, something we learned on our trip a couple weeks ago you can order a Katz sandwich to your room and we got them within 20 minutes. I think that’s shorter than waiting in the line. We did it twice. They’re that good. Thank you for all your help used many of your tips.
Great to see Greg back again, always interesting to hear his views as well. It’s wonderful to see two grown men having such a fund time eating cured meat sangers and loving them. I love the simplicity in perfecting a few options and building a strong customer base. Excellent el Jon ❤❤❤
David's tastes JUST LIKE KATZ for my tastebuds. So delicious. I was praying for a halal alternative in Brooklyn and God brought me to this. I don't even have to wait the ridiculous line at KATZ anymore :)
Hi Jon, Thank you for your great video of the sandwiches. I must say that David’s Brisket House made my mouth water! You new content raises the bar! Best Wishes, Peter
Love the foodie videos. Food is the main reason I travel, which makes New York high on the vacation list. As a traveler though I'd love a video focusing on different hotel/motel (maybe hostels) pricing / locations. Manhattan is top of the list for tourists but what about staying in another borough, also where in the borough (they're big), focusing on safe and ease of subway access. A central spot to Queens, Brooklyn (and Manhattan) seems Ideal, plus hotel costs are lower. Are there areas to avoid? I know this is dependent on where you want to go, what you want to do, but I imagine there be do's and don'ts for picking the ideal place to stay. Myself being a first time New York visitor I'd want to do the primary's, observation tower, Broadway show, boat ride and museum, with as much food as my stomach can handle.
I used to be by Dave's a lot. I got a kick out of a brisket joint being run by guys from Yemem. I remember one Friday I tried to get a sandwich and they were at the mosque
Oh my. Yet again, 3 more places to put on my list. Basically when i come to NYC next, i won't sleep for 7 days straight, I'll just eat constantly. Perfect! 😂🙏 Just when i think you couldn't possibly find more amazing restaurants! Thank you Jon☺️
Hi there! I am wondering what ferry would be the best for the statue of library tour. It will be my first time there during the Christmas season. December 14 we will be there. If you do the free ferry what time would you recommend going to beat the crowds and do you have to make a reservation?
A superlative video, production and presentation. We live near the old DeFonte's on Third Avenue & 21st Street in Manhattan. We loved that place, but apparently another condo building was needed. Their Hot Roast Beef with roast beef, fresh mozzarella, fried eggplant and natural jus is incredible. So is the Sinatra Special with steak pizzaiola and fresh mozzarella. Everything is great! When they closed, we made our way to Brooklyn. That will end when the MTA's corrupt Congestion Pricing goes into effect at the end of June, 2024. We simply won't pay an extra $15.00 to re-enter Manhattan and we won't spend hours on a dangerous subway. Directions
I was a port agent that brought in the first cruise ship into Red Hook. I wish that I would've known to get a sandwich from Defontes before I headed back to Jersey.😱😂
Hey Jon. Couple of weeks I asked yoh about why yoh still live in NYC despite negative publicity. Great video. I just came across a news vid about a section of Queens that is called Little Thailand. There were some food/restaurant info but not sure if it’s good enough for you to do a video.EDIT. I think you were there before about 3 years ago.
As always this is another great video, but I have one comment/suggestion: Anytime someone says "this place is really blowing up on social media right now".... I run. Granted, your videos & Instagram feeds are technically "social media", but your content is curated and researched. I have no interest in investigating crowd-sourced restaurants and attractions, whose business more often than not gets warped by the hordes who are interested in the selfie there as much as they are in patronizing the business. Thanks.
Some true in what he says just don’t generalize I like my pigs feet cooked and sautéed. Just add kosher salt and slaw that will make it all right,It’s good to be a Catholic cleanser my soul with a Reuben sandwich and Hasidim Hasidim but I don’t believem.
Historically only brisket is jewish. Corned beef is English from the 17th century and pastrami is Turkish coming about from the corned beef much later in the following century. So to say that this muslim is serving halal cuisine in the the jewish tradition is absolute Historical slander.

Have not been back to NYC for a few months but that changes this summer 😊. More ideas to add to my list once again. Thanks as always.
Jon I'm looking forward to my visit to NYC two weeks from today ! I will look into booking a food tour with Greg.
Please do!
Thanks Jon for another brilliant video. I definitely need to plan a trip to NYC to try out those delicious sandwiches!😃
Wow this food looks beautiful and delicious ! I’m so hungry watching it. 10/10.

Another GOOD one @HereBeBarr 🍵 It's ALLWAYS that FIRST bite bro that does it 👍🏽. Come one , come all ❤
That warning came too late Jon.😂 That first place made some great looking sandwiches! Wish I had the pastrami one you got but I'm S O L.☘️
I was a port agent that brought in the first cruise ship into Red Hook. I wish that I would've known to get a sandwich from Defontes before I headed back to Jersey.😱😂
I'll be back up in a couple weeks. There are too many choices to try, but I'm gonna make the time worth it
Yes sir
"If it looks like a Jewish Deli, smells like a Jewish Deli, the food is traditionally Jewish ✡️ it's a Jewish Deli."
My gosh…those sandwiches 🤤
Where is David’s located?

I went once. Great area
Oh wow, if you paid me to criticise these Sandwiches you could not do it, amazing food.
Chris (In UK)
Wish i had been there when you tasted this amazing collection.
Chris.
Hello how bend camera man doing?getting better?
Defontes is fire but the sandwiches to get are the pizzaiola, potato and egg, or roast beef eggplant and mozz with the gravy
Are they still open?
Sandwiches did look good but where’s the world going. $13 and up to $30 for a sandwich. Sandwiches are not a cheap alternative anymore.
PARIS - BRUSSELS - AMSTERDAM
That Defontes chicken cutlet sandwich looks 🔥🔥🔥
it is!
Love your videos@AntonWongVideo.😃
Defontes FTW
that looks better than katz fr 🔥🔥🔥
David’s brisket is so fire I go there as a lunch and breakfast spot so much better than Katz 100%🔥
Katz is hands down without question the best .
Hi John and Greg, 🍔🥪🥖🥔🔪🍽🍖🇮🇹🇺🇸🌎🗽
Not a fan of the ultra chopped up sandwiches…it gives pre-chewed food and I prefer to chew my own food 😭
KATZ
No sal,Chris and Charlie 😮
This is BK only video
Jon- how can you eat all this delicious food and still stay so thin?
It’s a struggle.

Everything else, but not that chopped mess.
I went o David's, and since it's Halal they served my sandwich in a vest with C4 & instructions
Chopp the cold meat its a sin
Nice but Montreal's Smoked Meat is better.
Bad day to start my vegan diet…jk. Great info as always
Lol it's a sign...don't do it😂
Montréal smoked meat is better ;-)
4 or 5 hours in the oven brisket? 🙄 Yeah no thanks. I prefer to chew pencil erasers for less money.

H😍🇺🇸🌏🙏
Being germ aware I'm not eating any sandwich where the guy making the sandwich has been touching chip bags that everybody hands to him.
I have a crippling case of jew fatigue
Well, I don't eat halal food. Looks like we have a problem.
