Even given the still conditions, this looks like a very stable heli for its size. My Esky Honeybee is larger, and even after all the upgrades in terms of gyro, 2.4Ghz, brushless motor, metal rotor head etc, it wasn't easy to setup such that it was balanced properly. I think I'd just head directly for something like this Blade heli now - would be a dream by comparison. (Jon's Dad isn't too bad actually!)
This heli is about as stable as it gets! It's much easier to learn 3D flying when you don't have to worry about tail wags or constant input just to keep the heli in one place!
Nice maiden Jon! Your heli collection is almost getting as big as your plane collection now. Great flight Eric! Great recovery from the lost orientation. Glad to see you are getting more flight time.
Thank you! My dad did pretty good up until he lost orientation! He was calm on camera but he told me afterwards that he got really scared and that if I didn't tell him which way to push the sticks, he would have lost it on his first flight! I guess he got too comfortable with the stability of the heli!
@@JonsRC thanks, I was thinking that. Might be a challenge to program since only the forward programming radios are listed in the manual with values for setup. Maybe I just copy that and see what it does. I see a DX6e in my future at some point if I stick with the hobby.

Still flying my old Blade CX2 here. So happy that I have not killed it after this many years.
The CX2 is a classic! I remember my dad had one a long time ago. It's gone now. He bought the CX-3 and we still have it and it still flies!

I don’t see why not! The Blade Infusion 180 just needs a 6+ channel DSMX/DSM2 transmitter. The Dx6i is a 6 channel DSM2 transmitter.

Hi! This was my main concern when getting this heli, but it seems that at the time of this video being published, Horizon has fixed the issue.
