The topic of pulsed plasma thrusters has been developed since the early 60s (see PPT - Pulsed plasma thruster) - they are usually designed for spacecraft. But we will talk about a little-known design - these are plasma propulsion panels for aircraft, where the same Pulsed plasma thruster, but reduced to the size of a pencil and stacked in the form of cells in the panel. The design resembles a conventional plasma TV screen, where there are also discharge cells that activate the glow of pixels on the screen. And plasma propulsion panels have long discharge cells, the arrester has a railgun architecture (just rail contacts or coaxial), and the ionized discharge air is accelerated there by the Lorentz force to enormous speeds - a kind of ramjet engine is obtained. Just imagine! - tens of thousands of small ramjet engines assembled in a panel and firing plasma synchronously with a huge frequency (hundreds of kilohertz). Thus, plasma propulsion panels create lift by pulsed emission of plasma jets from railgun cells. There are tens of thousands of cells in the panel, they shoot at a frequency of hundreds of kilohertz, a huge pulse is obtained, and the plasma swirls the air into toroidal rings - the aircraft is held on this air cushion. Horizontal acceleration is created by the same plasma panels on the sides of the device (they glow, from the side they look like "portholes"). Such devices like "triangle" or "disk" have been observed for a long time, they are mistaken for alien ones - but these are terrestrial devices. They are classified and used for espionage and secret actions. Pulsed electromagnetic technology generates microwave radiation, therefore it is harmful to health. They rarely fly - only military missions. Therefore, they are not suitable for a citizen. This maintained the secrecy. Now they are already declassifying - many people know about this secret technique. When declassified, they will be used for cargo airships. But there is a danger that they are now going to be adapted to deliver small nuclear charges to decision-making centers - such means of delivery are not specified anywhere, are not conventional. This lowers the threshold for starting a war. It would be necessary to declassify them as soon as possible. That's why I'm writing about it. However, I have written before - starting with the book "The Elimination of UFOs" and many articles. There are also videos on my TH-cam channel - "Declassified UFO" and "UFO Anatomy". 😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈

So far, I like the Jetson 1. I think it has lots of room for improvement/advancements. The Blackfly, I'm afraid looks just too weird and intimidating for most people to consider purchasing, but we'll see. And...yes as many others here have observed, the Jetson 1 looks the least intimidating and most "conventional" of the offerings. The jet powered flying chair looks pretty cool, though. If they could somehow make it quieter and with a longer range, that would be cool. But, I would say the same for Jetson one as well.
I’ve been following the Jetson for a while. I want one. In the US you’d absolutely need a pilot’s license though since you need one even for a business drone.
Perhaps in Ukraine these vehicles would not require a license to pilot, but in the US, it won’t happen. Casual fans in the US may be under the illusion that because an electric quadcopter made big enough to carry a pilot and light enough to weigh under 254 lbs, therefore can be flown by anyone. False. The “no pilot license required” aircraft class is named “ultralight”, but it’s far from the only or only important criteria that defines it-and that is crucial. An “ultralight aircraft” must ALSO be capable of *with the power off* to still have controllable glide over 24 knots. A quadcopter has zero glide at any speed when the power is off. They have no kind of lift from the body or wings (like a plane) or still-spinning propellers (like a gyrocopter). Emergency parachutes don’t count. There is also the gray area of electric propulsion in any form of ultralight. It specifically says in the rules, that if these criteria cannot be met, then the general aviation rules now apply for both the inspection of the aircraft and the licensing requirements for the pilot.
Don't underestimate the power of gain. This is a potential multi-billion dollar industry. They will create new categories, make simplified legalization and the like...
@@TopBoxy you bring up a good point and I’m always keeping that idea in my head on standby because we have seen that the changing landscape of the industry has historically changed and even driven the regs. For example, the entire FAR 103 Ultralight was itself created after folks in the 70’s were building and flying tiny, relatively slow fixed wing aircraft. It only makes sense that something similar bubbles to the surface eventually as small personal drone-inspired manned aircraft start hitting the scene and the FAA has to create a ruleset to fit them into. But the internet being the lazy internet, people see a polished promotion for one of these things and assume because it looks official, that everything including the regs to allow them to fly in the airspace is already in place. Lol, it’s not about the money. How about you invest 98 and see if you get a return. These will go, it’s just if it’s yahoo or google. One will go, a lot will fail.
You say "don't require a license," but that's untrue for most of these vehicles, if they'd be operated in the United States. Since that's where MOST of TH-cam's audience is, that claim is basically fraudulent. If a vehicle doesn't meet FAA Title 14, Part 103 regulations (ultralight aircraft), you DO need an airworthiness certificate for the aircraft and a pilot's license for the operator.
The first one, JetRacer, looks like it would absolutely be the safest choice with, by my count, 10-jet engines! Maybe a bigger fuel tank will increase the flight time?
The Heston 1 should only cost $20 to $30k. If they could mass produce it. I priced them out to build 2 years ago and it in material it costs $9,000, thats it. I was going to order batteries, engines and props, but realized I would be blindly ordering engines and batteries without knowing how much lift it produces. They upped the price of black fly because it is way to easy to fly and they don’t want people feeling the freedom of flight PERIOD. Anyone know where I can buy a design so I can build my own?
I’d go with the Black fly despite the extreme take off attitude. Seems more practical and safer than Jetson 1. I also like the way Black fly has room for more powerful motors.
The black fly is a more commercially viable prospect because of its amphibious ability I'm thinking. Charged by solar it can land almost anywhere zero pollution other than production cost. Could be a useful tool in many places around the world if given a chance bringing aid post even ferrying workers to and from hard to reach areas if they are cheap enough to buy and maintenance was relatively easy.
Solar power is just marketing. It is hard to imagine how much time it will take to be fully charged with solar energy. With further electrical storage development, even more.
@@TopBoxy Ok, get a pilot’s license, Then you can increase the speed snd range. Personaly i think a drone license would be enough because this doesn’t act like any airplane
the crazy take off angles of the black fly puts me off tottaly!!! the jetson one is more attractive and appealing on the point. Surely with tech now days this can be fixed. Just looking at the basic design I can even come up with a solution.
We have started designing a two-seat drone powered by hydraulic motors. The thrust is 700 kg, the flight time is limited only by the weight of the fuel. So far, this is the best energy density.
They're all garbage! Ludicrous, purposeless and laughably expensive. Flight times in single digits before having to return to one's point of departure. A two seat kit helicopter like the HeliSport CH-7 Kompress is a proven design which has been flown single Pilot from France to the USA and back! A real aircraft with an excellent pedigree, this helicopter is a genuine personal aircraft, which with the long range fuel tank has been hand flown for over 12 hours continuously. This is how it was able to fly from France to the USA, a duration only matched by massive passenger airliners! These pointless electric powered gimmicks keep appearing, but all have no practical purpose whatsoever, like the jet engine flight suits, pointless gimmicks with truly pathetic flight times and silly prices and ownership contracts. Edited for typo.
And there are many Micro Helis around. Or if you live in a Lake area things like, Icon A5. Well good for the Kids who can work there Hobby and get Paid, if somebody is stupid enough investing in this Electric shit.

My choise is Speeder with wings!
Black fly.... The low vis high angle T.O. and landing looks fun... I've landed Cessnas at high angle ... It's definitely require more skill
I bought a drone for $300 with a Camera on it to give me the feeling of flying.
Note: I thought that was Expensive. 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
These look Amazing. I like the looks of the Jetson 1 overall. 😉👌
Thanks for sharing!
Black Fly looks the safest, probably the best for winter weather, and most comfortable during all weather types...
Jetson One is a toy that will create some hearing-loss lawsuits soon.
Other than the awkward pilot position during takeoff and landing, the Black Fly is surely one of the more efficient designs.
Agree it has decent range also amphibious which is cool
Wow , Amezing , i see from Nepal 🎉🎉🎉😮😮😮😊😊😊
No doubt in my mind that Jetson looks and feel the best.

Going to have to get both
98K for 20 minutes of flight? I’ll pass
Accepted :)
Not worth it. I agree. Cost is too high too. The average person doesn’t have 98k lying around either. A luxury craft for the rich.
Lol, it’s not about the money. How about you invest 98 and see if you get a return. These will go, it’s just if it’s yahoo or google. One will go, a lot will fail.
Getting better
You say "don't require a license," but that's untrue for most of these vehicles, if they'd be operated in the United States. Since that's where MOST of TH-cam's audience is, that claim is basically fraudulent. If a vehicle doesn't meet FAA Title 14, Part 103 regulations (ultralight aircraft), you DO need an airworthiness certificate for the aircraft and a pilot's license for the operator.
No one cares
Sorry to burst your bubble, but India and China have more watchers than the USA
VTOL aircraft have their own category under the faa already. They aren’t covered under ultralight aircraft laws.
I am curious to know what motors/flight controller you used for the build, and what is the maximum payload. Thanks
Sorry, we are not representatives of these companies. You can google for information
Welcome to another edition of…
…”Stuff You Will Never Own”…
😃👍
The first one, JetRacer, looks like it would absolutely be the safest choice with, by my count, 10-jet engines! Maybe a bigger fuel tank will increase the flight time?
Maybe. See you soon
JETSON ONE is the best design in my opinion...
!!!!WELL IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!!
Imagine those new round propellers that are way quieter and more efficient on the Jetson. I'd be all over it
toroidal propellers?
Incredible job!
Blackfly because it can land in water. But I would like to see some design changes.
It's not that bad but couldn't be less wide
I’d go with the Black fly despite the extreme take off attitude. Seems more practical and safer than Jetson 1. I also like the way Black fly has room for more powerful motors.
Black fly is next level
So far all I knew was jetson one.
Both are so fine ❤
thanks i was just thinking of what vehicle to use to go to school, now i can go to school with style
Have fun!
@@TopBoxy sure will
18:06 I hope he realizes how lucky he was to survive this
And not paralyzed
The last drone look so safety for the beginners... 👍👍👍
Disagree. Thing has limited use and only has a range of about 40 or so miles before a recharge. Unless im thinking of the wrong item.
Solar power is just marketing. It is hard to imagine how much time it will take to be fully charged with solar energy. With further electrical storage development, even more.
I'll take the jet powered chair commuting to work and having to refill up every day would be awesome
The Jetson one is the only option I fell in love with.
The Blackfly is quite ugly and the Zapata feels more like a concept than a true vehicle.
Wow,my is jetson one.👍😍👍
BlackFly needs to use the new toroidal propellers to be more efficient and quieter.
I wonder why they are still not used anywhere? Maybe they don't put out enough power?
Yeah, it's only many thousands of dollars more expensive to make and use them
@@TopBoxy They are nearly impossible to CNC. They do use them on boats and someone has figured out how to CNC them now.
@@jaslll4396 CNC?
The Speeder looks fun.
The black fly needs a 2 seater version. Absolutely stunning.
then you need a licensed pilot
@@TopBoxy
Ok, get a pilot’s license,
Then you can increase the speed snd range.
Then you are well versed in technology, congratulations
New Jersey Drones much…
Jetson ofc! one of the owners is from Poland 👍lots of good stuff came out from Poles.
black fly
Jetson One! And it doesn’t seem like it would take much to make it amphibious.
For 100,000 or more, I want to be able to go almost as far as a tank of gas
How long can they fly and how far cuz I'm looking for something that can fly for a long time and long distance
Look further, these fly up to 40 minutes )
Getting married or Getting a drone??
Might as well get another drone
If there would be Practical Other Options, you would see the Millitäry have them 10 years ago.
@@youcanhandlethetruth4695 The US military had single person, collapsible helicopters around 70 years ago, but although these were proper aircraft, they decided to not use them.
Most military requirements can be carried out with unmanned drones, one only need look at how Ukraine are adapting domestic drones into attack drones, dropping munitions onto the enemy or flying explosive laden drones into them.
The military rarely need to get one soldier someplace that only a passenger carrying drone can achieve...
@@felixcat9318 Their is one thing i could think of. Escape Vehicle for Snipers after they did their target.
It's always like that with the first. Doesn't that mean you shouldn't even start?
Could be useful for rescue operations❤❤❤
