AgentN I'm working as an archeologist for hire on a griefed base, the build itself was cobble, so I need to tell from air pockets in the lava cast, and member memories of the base, as well as a single screenshot, which blocks belong, and which don't.

AgentN It really is fascinating. Other anarchy servers (Even new/small ones) are also great, 2b isn't the gold standard, it's just the oldest. Plus playing on multiple has benefits, if you stumble upon a cross server trade network

Not really, you can view a video of 2B2T from August 2011 and it’s pretty damaged but not even as close as damaged as it is now.

Tbh it sounds like they didn't even discover redstone. That valley of wheat, it's a pretty unefficient farm. I could do better than valley of wheat using less area. I could do something so much better that I would provide each major faction in the server with automatic and instantenous food supply, and I would be dubbed the God of Food, and they would assign people to guard the place.
It's not about making efficient food farm, look up the crafting table valleys.

this isn't an argument for rules, its an argument for gatekeeping sub norms, I play a game lifeweb without rules and it runs nuanced and amazing rounds, despite having no real rules besdies to roleplay.
I remeber making a Base,
It was a good base,
It connected to the End, Nether, Sky, Ocean, Near Ravin, Moutain, Forest, Mushroom Forests, And finally A Lava Area underground,
It was nice, Had Redstone things i made,
basically, it took 2 and a half to finally finish it,
It was beatuiful,
My friends join now and then, They have there own rooms, all to thier liking,
But one of them, Wanted more,
I had Like so many Farms, the most biggest one was a wheat farm which i called Wheatleys Farm,
My Friend who wanted more, i shall call him Hilo,
Destoryed my farm,
I didnt know he destroyed my farm, and he actually cinvinced me to kick my other Friend,
I brought him back 2 days later,
But that wasnt all,
We went to the end to get the Elytra,
When we came back to the Actual End area, with the Dragon,
Hilo Used the Egg, to respawn the Dragon, and he went through the portal at the same time,
Took us almost forever,
We came back to see everything in my base either changed, Destroyed or Full of Signs saying,
' TOO UGLY TO DESTROY,',
Hilo spawned 5 Withers,
He had operator so he spawned the Enderdragon as well,
He spawned so many Mobs,
He made a Bedrock Throne to himself, in the middle of the actual Base,
We had rooms when The Base is threatened to be destroyed, Its made of Bedrock,
We got supplies and Us 3 Fought like we never fought before,
We killed Hilo, and I kicked him,
Took away his Operator and Unkicked him and Put him in a Bedrock Jail, with piston Moving Doors to open,
We had only one window to look at him, in the jail,
It took more than the original time to build the Base again, because its still Not finished,
Man, Hilo always spawns in the Jail and we test him with Courses we made which always lead back to his jail,
Its still not finished,
Lets hope it will be in the Future,
Ill put it on when it is finally builted...

They released a snapshot of Minecraft where, if you wrote in a book and threw the book into a nether portal, it would make the nether portal bring you to a new dimension. The dimension changed depending on what you wrote in the book, and each dimension seems, for the most part, random.

I remember playing this world within a month of it being released, the spawn was still quite recognisable and the server population was pretty low, made a nice wood house 1000s of blocks away from spawn and got so bored I left, found this channel today and jesus christ how things have changed

If they need to stop and gather more that would give players too much time to destroy everything again
Yeah, and you got to remember that you would have to remove TENS OF MILLIONS of blocks as well as various quantities of lava and water, and obsidian, as well as place millions of grass blocks just to make a topsoil that resembled the original spawn. No human or AI player at 100% dedication to doing such a project could do that within years. Not to mention of course the individuals who can and would easily undo all the hard work in hours.
Milka Bogovac If they did repair it spawn would probably look better than it ever has and it would take ages to grief it that bad again, it took 7 years for it to look that way. And bots could be on 24/7 defending spawn from griefers
Foreskin Man I think it’s definitely possible, you could have like 1,000 bots dedicated to it all the time with 200 bots defending areas built, they could have beacons too. It’s definitely hard but I don’t think it would take more than a month with thousands of bots working coordinately.

Honestly these videos are really interesting to me. I've recently started watching these videos and i've never really known what 2b2t is/was but MAN, there is so much history and lore on this one MC Server it baffles my mind that this kinda stuff has existed and i didn't really even known about it. Multiple wars on stuff like tress and nether highways, cults that worship stuff like blocks, Abandoned bases, destroyed bases, there is so much interesting lore and history that even for someone who plays MC usually solo, this stuff seems amazing and intriguing. Also The Valley of The Wheat seems like a very cool ideal and i might try it sometime, very creative!

the only way they can do that is when the bots comander have access to admin, kick all players, only let the bot go in just to build a base that maybe got griefed because the admin power abuse

This is so cool. I miss playing Minecraft. We had some cool servers going. It was griefed, and going back to it 10 years later was soooooo eerie yet nostalgic. This game really does transport you.
I remember the first time I spawned in 2B2T. It literally felt like walking through nuclear fallout. The poetry in it was amazing. I didn’t need to go anywhere to realize everything was like this. The beautiful world of minecraft has been turned into this, a monstrous mass of displaced blocks.
Honestly I’ve started playing recently and It’s one of my best experiences ever when I spawned and had to get away from spawn. 2b2t is a dangerous place.

I think you can rebuild spawn by making several large lava casts togther, and fill in the gaps between them, and finally, put in grass, trees, etc, on top.
Wouldn't last a day though, would require guarding during the entire construction, people would be spawning there, so its really hard.

I got really pissed off, when I was watching the video of the Rushers destroying the Valley of Wheat, calling it "Veterans monument" and it was only because of the war
They ignored the historical value of that place, and were laughing all along, while destroying it

it also pisses me off that people destroy things which people spent hours building. i tried going onto 2b2t a few weeks ago and it took me ages (around 2 weeks) to get out of spawn. luckily i met people that helped me get out of the hell of spawn and into a decent place with gear
