You can fly forever with no fireworks or hacks. Just tower up high and watch your height throughout the ride as you go down and up. In a solo world I got 50k out doing that in the end. Kinda tricky though.
@@uniqueusername3783 Nah, using vanilla mechanics you can fly infinitely. there have been quite a few videos explaining how you have to fly down at a specific angle to reach a specific velocity and then go up at a specific angle to maintain the height to continue to reach the downwards velocity.

Wrong. They weren't banned. Banning means that you are able but not allowed to do something. There wasn't any punishment for obtaining, wearing or attempting to use an elytra; they just didn't work. Disabling and banning are 2 different things.

Elytra durability also exists, yeah you could use enchanting bottles for a while for the XP but you’d eventually run out of those too
