I really hope that Asus makes the compact size of the Zenfone 11. The battery of the S24 is trash compared to the Zenfone 10.
S24 battery lasts me 2 days. The ZenFone 10 would probably last me 4 lol
So tempted to get a Zenfone 10, but it has already run down one of the two supported years.. S24 with Exynos is not even be considered. Man I hope Asus doesn't go all in on the "Ultra" and forget the compact form factor.

Yeah, that's a major, major downside.
This years Exynos doesn't seem to be that bad. Ouperforms the 8gen3 in some areas. Not very bad thermals either. It's still a small phone, even with 8gen3 it would get warm.
@@czkmeister That may be. I've been burnt enough by purchasing Exynos phones over the years that it's not even a consideration anymore. If it's Exynos, I'm not interested. But I'm happy for those who buy it that they might have improved it.
The software update doesn't really matter nowadays

It's so weird that I found the Zenfone's cameras better than the S24's in these examples showed in the video
I was so ready to compromise with the features on the zenfone, because it has something almost no other phone has, a 3.5mm jack. But the 2 year support pretty much killed it for me :(
How about the mobile network coverage? Don't care about the data but the voice. Same place, same network, which phone is better? Unfortunately most phone comparisons omit this essential feature.
I know this was asked 4 months ago but since I have used an S23 U and switched to the Zenfone 10 I can attest to the network coverage for anyone who is curious and finding this later on. I have Tmobile and so far I've had 5G everywhere with both; I did get a warning text from TMobile when I popped my SIM into the Zenfone 10 that said not all bands were supported, but it regularly shows that I have 5G and sometimes goes to 4G+ - and I live in a very remote, rural area, so it's not like I'm benefiting from a city's greater coverage zone. I can call over wifi, as well. I haven't seen any coverage or speed differences between my Zenfone and the S23U, honestly, though I was worried about it at first, and - quite frankly - I have to really struggle to see differences between the camera quality unless I try to zoom in quite far. Zenfone reminds me of my previous favorite phone, the S10e; I'm really happy with the switch.

@@MTGProductions Same. I'm a bit tired of the huge phones. So looking for a more compact one. Right now the normal s24 looks most tempting, maybe also Xiaomi 14. But would love Asus to have a compact one around 6-6.2 inches, with a zoom camera as well.
I had an S23 Ultra and switched to the Zenfone 10. I'm not concerned about software support since you can install an app that roots it and you can install the updated Android ROMs. I also honestly don't see that much of a difference between my S23 U photos and this one other than the depth of zoom. The extra features it has and the fingerprint reader on the power button with the swipe to open notifications+menu, as well as the quick fire camera toggle are such awesome plusses to using it. I'm a big fan compared to my Samsung device specifically because it reminds me so much of my beloved S10e. If Samsung made, say, an S25e, or an S24e, I'd be all over it if it had the same features.
I'm currently using an iPhone 13 Mini and plan to stick with it as long as possible. My next phone will definitely be the smallest available at that time. I wish more manufacturers would recognize the small smartphone community and release more phones with screens under 6 inches. Also, I think phones would be much more comfortable to hold if they had rounded sides, like the iPhone X, rather than the current trend of edgy designs.
ZF10 owner here coming from OnePlus6. Thing I dearly miss: Actual fast charging. My sister's OP11 charges like 40-50% in 10 mins lol. ZF10 takes years to charge. Alert slider, notification led, better camera. But hands down the thing I most miss is a bigger keyboard. The ZF10 keyboard has very narrow keys and I haven't gotten used to it in 5 months. I'm going to resell to buy another device though ZF10 is a blazing fast phone.

you forgot to mention, asus is cheaper, but also got charger brick, and 3,5m audio jack
And only 1 more year for softwsre updates while the s24 has 7 years of updates.
Zenfone wins because the device is 68 mm wide. I think more than that, you will not be able to control the experience. Add to that the device’s attractive and seductive colors and unique design, in addition to the 3.5 port.
So true. I've recently sold s24 and will keep Z10 for this reason. Z10 is narrowed and a bit thicker makes it a huge difference in comfort of usage. S24 is just too wide. Believe me or not 2.5mm is a lot in this case

What's the difference in weight? Plastic is far better as you probably need to put s protective cover over the glass anyway

Hold on, Is this a comparison of a phone that came out last year against a new phone of this year? I feel like from the get go the Samsung S23 was more expensive and comparable or better than the Zenfone 10 so why make a video comparing the S24 vs Zenfone 10????? The price alone must be noticeably different, especially in the next few months as Asus starts to lower the price of last year's phone.
None of them is perfect. I'm still hoping that Asus will create a 'real' Zenfone 11.

Why do the edges have to be so square on the s24? They need to go back to the s10e edge design
The problem is Asus never marketed the earlier version of this compact phone in india and zenfone 9 and 10 never got launched...Asus should have Targeted mid-ranger in India with our small hands it would have sold like hot cakes

That Zenfone looks disgusting with those big bezels! It looks outdated! 5.9inch is small, not compact! Compact is 6.0, 6.1, 6.2inch.
