@MuamerRastic-hh5pu yeah, I will admit, it's a very stupid problem to have only because the stubbornness of samsung not wanting to give up their "special" exynos chips
@MuamerRastic-hh5pu I will be honest, I believe it is possible to make a good Exynos, a chip made by the company that makes the phones is a large step, and if they perfect it, I will gladly say my phone has an exynos in it but at its current standing it upholds, I would rather stay far away from Exynos
Here in Canada, you can get open box S24s for as low as $779 CDN from BestBuy. I prefer BestBuy, because they generally have hassle-free return policies. The S23s are hardly any cheaper, so I just ordered an S24. Time to finally retire my trust LG V30, the flagship phone from late 2017. @AarushAgarwal For existing customers in '23 and '24, Verizon Wireless AND AT&T offered free S23 in trade for your old Samsung phone at no charge. I paid $530 for a Refurbished S23 back in February 2024 off Amazon. It looks brand new. The battery doesn't seem to last that much, but I think it's my usage. Heavy YT watching in the background. I upgraded from my S21 because I dropped it too many times, cracking the screen and it would also get hot, and turn off. The battery didn't last at all either. I paid $700 for that one brand new and I had it for two years. I like the S23 better. The S24 was way too expensive.

S23 128gb new is $399 in my country Way better deal than a 24 worth $800 for xtra 4years of update? I never use phones more than two years anyway Can sell anytime and it still holds good value
i’m probably going to get the S24 just for the extra longevity and for the smaller quality of life upgrades. and also cause on the samsung website i’m able to get $200 value for my iphone 12 for a trade in and an extra 5% off with the education promo or whatever it’s called, so i’d pay around $570 i think for an S24
I don't know why Samsung play this game. They should use the same SoC everywhere. I'm buying S23 in India, it costs almost half (35k - 450USD) of what S24 is offering (60k - 750USD)
The S24 is too similar to Apples design..The S24 and S25 are rush jobs and this lagging of OS delivery is not good..Remember when Android 8( Oreo) had a bug, which delayed 6 months and now Android 15( Vanilla Ice Cream) is delayed, yet Google said they're on schedule with Android 16( Waffle Cone) in August...I'm fine with my S23 Ultra

I already have a 23 ultra. It's crazy how it's literally the same phone for the last 10 years and probably won't change much. I even got the fold for and was super disappointed and went to the 23 ultra. I really want a fold, but they need to make the outer screen almost as big as this one.
All very well having 7 years of updates, but when a design fault is discovered outside warranty after only 3 years and is expensive to fix, the 7 year promise has no value.
I got it as my second work phone, and it's incredible! 🔥Snappy, fast, and with a great screen. I don't see a huge difference between the 23 and 24.
S23 just because of SD and 24 doesn't offer much more than 23 except 7 years os updates which exynos won't be able to handle anyways
Which SD are you talking about on S23 do you know these phones?

Here s23 is almost half price of s24. And honestly, I do think s23 is better. Better download/upload speeds. The rest is the same as s24
Thaaaank you for addressing the exact specs of the new LTPO displays of the s24, I couldn't find any info about it, whether it was LTPO 2.0 or 3.0 or whatever, thank you.
I came from my s10e, by far my favorite phone but I will admit the s24 may be my new favorite.
@we1314 i can help you find a good option, I did too much research finding the phone I wanted, want a dirt cheap phone that is good, a15, good performance and price, a35, almost flagship quality except performance, a55, flagship quality with some specs limited, s23 fe or the s24 fe if it comes and is good, and the best of the best, a s24 ultra, or a base s24.
@MuamerRastic-hh5pu depends on the region, in the southern us, as I am in arizona my phone has a snapdragon chipset
@MuamerRastic-hh5pu no problem, processors and anything within tech is something I love to talk about lol, thanks for the discussion lol
Great video. I was in a dilemma as to which device to get. I will definitely get the S23, well S23+ to be specific.
Good choice!
It's still running perfectly, though I had to replace the USB port on it about a year ago. Screen now has only 1 dead pixel. Not bad for nearly 7 year old phone! I'm going to keep it as a music player because it has a headphone jack and an awesome DAC on it.
I bought s23 a few days ago and its been draining battery and heating up like crazy, people been telling me that this is normal for most phones and it fixes by itself in 1-3 weeks as the phone is "adapting" to my usage pattern and learning it, i just want some more confirmation aboit this as frankly, i am scared because of the very high temperatures/batterg drainage (no other issues whatsoever tho)
Did it adapt
Do you play games?
Does anyone know if these have the same frame? I went to best buy and the 23 felt like plastic and the 24 felt like metal.. note: the 23 was silver and the 24 was black
can i get phone case for 23 and 24 will it fit both?
No one use phone for 7 years .. and no hardware in android phone could match this peroid
I am using iphone 7 since 2015. Almost 10 years now.
Hey Dion, do find s23 better for price ?
Great comparison video. Just got the S24 for free after my S10 screen stopped responding.
Free? How?
Not in India
@AarushAgarwal For existing customers in '23 and '24, Verizon Wireless AND AT&T offered free S23 in trade for your old Samsung phone at no charge. The only requirement was the old phone needed to turn on - and that was it. You paid the usual nominal "upgrade" fee. I chose to pay $60.00 to double the new S23 memory to 256.
@dionmedia Pls samsung s22 ultra or samsung s23? I'm on a budget and I'm particular about video recording, features & durability. I'm also worried about the green line issues on samsung phones, how do I prevent that?
Please suggest which is the best
Is it only me wondering why he shows iphone shop on the samsungs display at 0:15 in the video. Feels a bit wrong.
😄
Here in Colombia, the S23 costs the same has the S24+, which is stupid. But it is what it is, also, is the Exynos version for all of them, except the Ultras. So, I will have to import mine, lol
give us s23 owners 7 years samsung come on
Good job. You made a really great video explaining the feature differences between the two phones. Helped me in making my decision! Thanks
And what was it? 23 or 24?
What about ultra model? Is the S24 Ultra better than the S23 Ultra?
No, s24 ultra is a downgrade in my personal perspective, screen looks like a midrange smartphone and cameras have no improvement.
Great question, I have just made a comprehensive S23 Ultra vs S24 Ultra video 2 weeks again you will find it on my channel 😃
The only reason i didn't buy the s24 and decided to stick to the s23 plus is the chip snapdragon
And would it be of better value to buy a s23 ?
Bought my S23+ for 525$ from someone else that had a few scratches on the backside. This was almost a year ago. Battery capacity still 99%. That was such a good deal. I'm probably not changing phones for years. Also just got the AI features with the newest update. Use the circle to search alot! 😮
your s 24 with snapdragon?
Your "dont waste your money" was clearly a click bait.
Planning to buy a last year flagship phone which one should I choose? Samsung S23 or iphone 14 pro?
I am looking for a good camera and also performance.
Hey same here what did you choose
Actually with a s22 plus. Should I jump to s23 or s24 series? Thanks
None. Keep you s22 plus and wait for s25 or s26. S22 plus is not old and still a great phone
@@Eee51511 thanks!
Don't buy a new phone it's not worth it
Got a 2 months used 256gb varient for 430USD
I bought the s23 today. I bought the 8gb ram 256gb storage variant for Rs.42000 or $511. I wanted to use this for so long and also will change it next year , so is it still good in 2024 and 2025?
S23 will be good for 2027 lol
Still have S22. Battery life is the only complaint. Will wait for S25 to drop and either get it or a discounted S24
S23 128gb new is $399 in my country
Way better deal than a 24 worth $800 for xtra 4years of update?
I never use phones more than two years anyway
Can sell anytime and it still holds good value
S21 to s24 are all the same exact phones😢😢😢😢. Go for the cheapest in price becuz theyre the same flagship phones.

poor standby time is due to exynos variant in your region
S23 photo processing in 50mp mode is a big problem. Its ruining realistic photos.
Can i buy now ???? Is it worth it
I would love s series if there's no vertical line issues.. Samsung don't have a clear statements about of it's issues
i had no idea they didnt give anti reflective screen to s24. that's awful for people who like smaller phones.
Just got the S23 with a free A9 wifi tablet!
i’m probably going to get the S24 just for the extra longevity and for the smaller quality of life upgrades.
and also cause on the samsung website i’m able to get $200 value for my iphone 12 for a trade in and an extra 5% off with the education promo or whatever it’s called, so i’d pay around $570 i think for an S24
I don't know why Samsung play this game. They should use the same SoC everywhere. I'm buying S23 in India, it costs almost half (35k - 450USD) of what S24 is offering (60k - 750USD)
The S24 is too similar to Apples design..The S24 and S25 are rush jobs and this lagging of OS delivery is not good..Remember when Android 8( Oreo) had a bug, which delayed 6 months and now Android 15( Vanilla Ice Cream) is delayed, yet Google said they're on schedule with Android 16( Waffle Cone) in August...I'm fine with my S23 Ultra
i have the s24 ultra and i love it! never had any issues since i got it on January 20, 2024!! the best upgrade i made thru T-Mobile! im never upgrading again probably in 2032!
Actually, the round edges are muck more comfortable in the hand than the s24 IPhone style
I went for the s23 ! And i loved it because innny location i would have got exynos which i hate.
Can anyone clarify to me? I found s24 with snapdragon. Its quite confusing with comments on these videos
As I know snapdragon is in NA version of s24, but Global version is produced with exynos
You can't rely on Exynos for, say more than 2-3 years??? Would samsung expect people not changing their phone after 5 years or so? I don't think.. Exynos with 7 yrs is not a good style of marketing from Saanung's end I guess..
The opinion of someone saying that sharp corners are more comfortable to hold than nicely rounded ones is irrelevant to me.
I have a flat frame phone and MUCH prefer rounded frames. There's no comparison for ergonomics. He was so confusing there.
I belive you are comapring s24 snapdragon (the good one) and not exynos variant. Becouse I doubt battery life on exynos would exceed s23.
Still sticking with S23 512GB and I am really happy with it
What is the difference? Simon says both are same.
Great review!
Im about to get s23 cuz of snapdragon. Been using my exynos s7 edge for 7 years now
Better hold on to that s7 edge for 6/7 months more and go for the s25 with likely the snapdragon 8 gen 4 and 7 years updates
@@davelaymon6282 I don't have the budget for s23 and I bought OnePlus 12r instead 😆
