I really liked the attention to detail in this video, the bonk sound every time you hit the road, the colours of the numbers representing each character when you were talking about the stats of the combos, really good and original video keep the good work mate
Definitely an aesthetic thing over stat thing - surprised peach didn’t have the cat kart (don’t know what it’s called) or the horse and carriage one they gave to toadette
the prancer is quite literally the royalty kart, with the carriage design and horse power, and it's internally referred to as "Pch" so it's also literally Peach's kart in this game - personally, i like its stats as well, with a good mix of ground speed and handling proving useful for 200cc (the better cc)
I think they just made the combos that the character fit if you notice most of the time nintendo associated a kart to a character in this game like Mach 8 with Luigi

A good tip for when you're in first and you get a coin, hold on to it! It gives a tiny boost of speed that can help you recover if you get hit, and it guarantees that your second slot will be an item and not another coin. Also it's good fodder against boos who might steal a super horn or green shell when it matters
I’ve never really given all too much thought to the loading screen silhouettes before, definitely an interesting video. I also found out that the blue lights that appear on the back of the badwagon during anti-grav change colors based on the turbo.
I learned a lot from this video, but the thing I learned above all else is that NO kart combo can save you when the whole pack decides to kick YOUR ass specifically.
I wonder if the combos might have been better or worse before the stats were slightly tweaked in the DLC update. Either way, this is a really cool video!
I'd love to see this video redone in the future once you're better with some of your problem tracks and with inside drifting bikes! Amazing video, well done

i was skeptical about watching 40+ minutes of mario kart races but to my surprise this is excellent! Well placed cuts, slick editing, good stuff all around. One thing I would change would be muting the in-game music and replacing it in editing to eliminate the jarring audio cuts.

This is a genuinely interesting video, all I wanted to say is that the glider plays the part in the acceleration, handling, and I think the mini turbo also. I’m not forcing you to remake the video but if you were to do something like use the best setup glider for all the cars then it’d be a lot more fair, as a sort of control variable

I'm pretty sure Isabelle uses the Leaf Tires instead of the Standard wheels. Every other silhouette of the Standard wheels look like the actual design, but Isabelle's silhouette has blank wheels. Also I think it would make more sense to use the Hylian Kite with Link instead of the standard Super Glider.
