I do believe that Toad’s Factory should be in the next Mario Kart game. That being said I feel like it was a bit of a let down for Nintendo to not make the Wii Sports Resort courses in MK8’s Booster Course Pack especially when they already remade Wuhu Loop (or whatever the battle course’s name is) with the release of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe…speaking of which I’m still disappointed that Nintendo didn’t make a special wave 7 just for battle courses. I think what kinda killed the dlc was that they focused on Mario kart tour stages being ported in what felt like an attempt to make Mario kart tour itself relevant again. Which really left out many actually fun stages in the series out of sight.

Mario Kart 64: Wario Stadium (Mario Kart 64). Mario Kart Super Circuit: Broken Pier, Rainbow Road (Super Circuit) Mario Kart Double Dash: Mushroom city, Wario Colosseum, Bowser’s Castle (Double Dash). Mario Kart DS: Figure 8 circuit, Bowser’s Castle (DS), Rainbow Road (DS). Mario Kart Wii: Luigi’s circuit. Mario Circuit (Wii), Toads factory, Bowser’s Castle (Wii). Mario Kart 7: Wuhu Loop, Maka Wuhu.
tbh i'm glad that toad factory wasn't in the booster course pass since that thing ended up ruining a ton of great tracks. now it's highly likely it'll get a well deserved remake in the next mario kart
@@user-yg9vx2re3u definitely agree. The tour retro tracks dont like the the retro tracks from the original mario kart 8 tracks since they look much more reimagined.
Hot take: vanilla lake 2 is one of the best snes tracks, it started out kinda bad but as time goes on it’s getting better, when they remake it officially in tour.
I find the lack of GBA Sunset Wilds to be weird. It never got a remake. I mean, it got a Tour Nitro, but that's more like a Sherbert Land Situation, like how Tour Sky Garden isn't actually GBA Sky Garden. This totally isn't me coping with two of my favorite tracks probably not coming back again for at least three decades.
I hope the next game keeps the 48 track standard 8DX set. Yeah, 8DX is a rerelease with 8’s DLC bundled in, but considering it’s been the most recent MK game for the last 7 years, I couldn’t imagine going back to 32 tracks.
W take on Wuhu Island tracks. There's been a lot of nostalgia for Resort/Wuhu lately and I hope Nintendo has noticed. Honestly we need a Switch Sports Resort for the Switch 2 or something.
Toad's Factory, man... It could have been so cool to have gravity slopes go inside it all. End it in a two-way jump/glide choice... Ah well. Maybe next Kart!
2:15 gonna be honest they all look the same. Yo there was this toads factory mod that had more routes like an inside the factory route like deep inside which was nice. Also wait no gpdx tracks?… if we get some of them in the next game then we’re definitely getting pac man back as a racer. What I’m most afraid of is… people using time trials and making the courses less fun with a certain set path.
YES! Mushrooms City appreciation. I really wish DS' rainbow road had been in the booster course. It would've been perfect with the antigravity mechanic
Maka Wuhu is actually more likely than Wuhu Loop because there's been a clear trend with every single Lightning Cup starting with Wii: the penultimate course is the last Star Cup course from 2 games prior. It's held true with DK Mountain, Airship Fortress, and Grumble Volcano, which means Maka Wuhu is next up on the list.
Bowser Castle DS is honestly really cool. The spining log thing is awesome. I'm surprised they didn't add it to MK8DX just because of the zero g mode that you could do on the pipe without falling off of it
I grew up with my dad’s Gameboy and a 3DS (after BEGGING my parents to get me one since I didn’t get a DS) since my parents got my cousins got literally every single Nintendo console from my parents (except the Nintendo switch when it released) and a majority of the Mario Kart 7 and DS tracks since I owned both games give me a lot of nostalgia while playing. I sadly NEVER got to play any of the Wii games because my cousins never let me play on the Wii. I’d LOVE Wuhu island tracks to be put into the next Mario kart game that is made because it was always my favorite track in Mario Kart 7 since I played it more than DS
I would absolutely love to see Mushroom City and Toad's Factory return, those tracks are amazing and absolutely deserve to be remade ASAP Side note, there is actually 1 notable thing about Figure 8 Circuit! If you pay close attention to the textures and background elements, the track is vaguely themed around Mario Bros 3! (The side of the bridge and the background). Not to the same extent as Desert Hills, but y'know, for figure 8 circuit it is at least something lmao
Imagine the next game has a Rainbow Cup, and it’s every version of Rainbow Road fully remade, back to back. I don’t know about you guys, but I think that’d be a great but definitely frustrating finale.
I think it really just depends on how well Nintendo can actually remake these maps. We've seen the disappointment that is MK8 Shroom Ridge and Coconut Mall. Then on the other hand we've seen MK8 Bowser's Castle 3 which has probably my favorite remixed song and also being one of the coolest map remakes of them all
BC2 does work with a feather. you just need the right speed, velocity and angle. Also the turns are very wide yet still challenging. It's not awfully hard, yet still provides a good challenge. One of my personal smk favorites
I could see those dead ends in bowser castle 1 and 2 being used to place double itemboxes. Sacrefise a bit of speed to get a double item if you are all the way in the back

For those of us who never played Tour, there are all of the tracks that made it there, but not to the booster pass, that we've yet to see as well
u deserve more subscribers dude, epic video!
Bro's editing is insane??? Instant sub from me king keep it up ❤
Wario Colosseum is my personal favorite Double Dash course, and I'm really excited to see a remake someday
tbh i'm glad that toad factory wasn't in the booster course pass since that thing ended up ruining a ton of great tracks. now it's highly likely it'll get a well deserved remake in the next mario kart
@@user-yg9vx2re3u definitely agree. The tour retro tracks dont like the the retro tracks from the original mario kart 8 tracks since they look much more reimagined.
Oh shit actual detailled names for the tiers instead of meaningless letters!! Love it when people do that yaaaay!
Also I love warto coliseum!!
I forget that Mario Circuit Wii was only remade in the Olympics spinoffs, because I count it as remade.
Hot take: vanilla lake 2 is one of the best snes tracks, it started out kinda bad but as time goes on it’s getting better, when they remake it officially in tour.
finally someone recognizes the Wuhu Island tracks, most underrated tracks in the series imo
all the wuhu tracks give me such a boost of serotonin you have no idea
I find the lack of GBA Sunset Wilds to be weird. It never got a remake. I mean, it got a Tour Nitro, but that's more like a Sherbert Land Situation, like how Tour Sky Garden isn't actually GBA Sky Garden. This totally isn't me coping with two of my favorite tracks probably not coming back again for at least three decades.
I didn’t know that SNES Ghost Valley 3 even existed until this video
Could not agree more about the Wuhu Island tracks. I love Wuhu Island and the fact that the tracks haven't been remade yet is an absolute crime
I agree. The Wuhu Island tracks need to get remade, Mario Kart 7 is the first game I have ever played, so these hold a very special place in my heart
This video is how I found out the Wuhu tracks have different names between American and PAL, wild.
I hope the next game keeps the 48 track standard 8DX set. Yeah, 8DX is a rerelease with 8’s DLC bundled in, but considering it’s been the most recent MK game for the last 7 years, I couldn’t imagine going back to 32 tracks.
Why wasn’t figure 8 the Mario Kart 8 starter track it just makes so much sense
The N64 Wario Stadium has always been one of my most wanted remade tracks ever since they started making retro tracks.
Toad's Factory man, that's the good stuff
2:15 gonna be honest they all look the same. Yo there was this toads factory mod that had more routes like an inside the factory route like deep inside which was nice. Also wait no gpdx tracks?… if we get some of them in the next game then we’re definitely getting pac man back as a racer. What I’m most afraid of is… people using time trials and making the courses less fun with a certain set path.
If toad’s factory isn’t in Mario kart 9 I will start world war three
The wuhu tracks in HD would be magical
@@Kirblae gosh yes but they better not remove the miis like how they did in coconut mall
5:30 i need that "WARIO !" voiceline spam.
Amazing video man, you deserve a lot more subs and likes keep it up !!
Figure 8-tio got me absolutely DYING DUDE
I remember seeing him in Mario's Mars Journey. Truly a peak character
DS rainbow road would work amazing with the anti gravity mechanics, and that would solve the “getting hit and having to redo to loop de loop” thing
I’d LOVE Wuhu island tracks to be put into the next Mario kart game that is made because it was always my favorite track in Mario Kart 7 since I played it more than DS
great video, I think your vids are starting to hit the algorithm, so good luck in future success!
I would absolutely love to see Mushroom City and Toad's Factory return, those tracks are amazing and absolutely deserve to be remade ASAP
Side note, there is actually 1 notable thing about Figure 8 Circuit!
