Aye bro u can find the remote turn on from the factory harness and connect it to the aftermarket stereo I’ve done it on my Lincoln and in other customer vehicles as a budget
That harness only works for Cadillac Fleetwood's up to '95 that has the amp in the trunk, they changed it up on the '96 where the amp is built in the radio.
Thanks for posting this video, awesome bro, I have a 96 sedan deville, what stereo system model is this, I like the green display that has the digital dash. Can you drop details or a link on the stereo system where I can purchase?
I have a mint 96 and decided to add two 15's and a pioneer double din. I haven't started the project yet, but where did get that wire harness that's that long?
I have a 1996 Eldorado i bought the blue harness for double din that plugs directly into my factory harness and other side plugs into double din, but not gettin power…
@@CGOD would I need any modules for the radio to work you think? As I plugged the radio into my ford and it powers on no issue, just thinking maybe I need a special harness for the older Cadillac?
Thank you for this vid. Just used it to know what I'm getting into with my wife's 96 brougham
Yeah it’s not too bad, just running a lot of wires
2024 I’m installing a 7in touch screen thank you for this video
Goodluck!
I've got a 94 DeVille myself....I thought that was huge until I saw a Fleetwood in person
Yeah these are big bodies for sure haha
While the 93-96 fleetwood is a big car it's definitely not the biggest cadillac I own
Fun fact the light green wire parking wire canjust be grounded to the radio. And it still works
@@darrenmorin6260 similar to how the head units that play video want that wire grounded so you don’t drive and watch lol

Barlely seeing this videos brotha badass
Thanks man!
Why did Cadillac have to do it like this? In the Roadmaster you just plug the radio right in where the radio goes.
At the time they didn’t have good enough radio output so they used an external amplifier. It was quite fancy at the time
How do you remove the seats ?? Thats the only part im stuck on
Umm I don’t really remember but as far I know it should be 4 bolts on the corners and an electrical plug

@@JoseRamirez-wv3pl do you have a multi meter? You can check to see if you’re getting voltage to the wires at all, maybe check your radio fuse!
