That line you mentioned is for the fiberoptic line that connects to the top fender indicators. Your low and high beam headlight connectors also has them. And there's 2 up in the rear center above the rear glass, those are for your rear brake lights
Those aren't the correct upper brackets to bolt it to the bumper. The T bottom bracket is. The 14" E&G kit I have on my 78 Coupe has the correct upper brackets, they go over and bolt to the back of the bumper. That switch you showed is to pop the continental kit open when it's wired to the trunk, if your Caddy has the pop trunk release option in the glove box. The white wire is the ground. The green wires are for the reverse lights. I used a trailer hitch wiring to tap into my cars wiring and continental kit wiring. Easy peasy. Caddy looks clean. I did notice something though, why does it have the rear window trim?
What licence plate holder it that please
@@andycorne7575 I made it myself out of stainless steel
I wouldnt even lower it id ride high bro that thang nice as hell
@@Ramonadrive it got like a 1/2 drop lol not too low at all
I just watched this video. Thanks for the info. I've been on the fence about accumulators for my 91 s10 and I think im gonna have to get some.
@@1978cut for a lay and play type setup I’d say it’s definitely the way to go, way better ride! A lot less stress on your truck too
Good looking sled. Is that a 2 in drop in the front end?
@@marcus3555 thanks! It had about a 3.5” front drop on it.
@CGOD Right on. Im looking to do the same on mine. Mind sharing what you did to get 3.5" drop?
@ I made a video on it but essentially I did the progressive drop in kit with no helper spring and got shorter fork tubes.
@@CGODThanks. Ill check out the video. What are you running, 2in under tubes?...
@ yeah somewhere around there, can’t remember for sure but they maxed out still before the fender makes contact with anything
This video you posted is $$$! And yes…that is way higher than stock. I was wondering if it is okay to drop it to the stops as fast as you raised it to “4X4 status”.
@@genekops6707 I’m sure it’s fine cause if you ride it low and hit a hard bump it’ll hit the bump stops hard anyways!
Ill trade you for my 93 fleetwood
@@AztecWarrior595 it’s nice but I’m keeping my Lac
@@CGOD hell yeah cant wait to see some upgrades on it good luck on the build
@ thanks bro! I’ll be posting about it as it gets built, gotta keep this one!
How does the 21 front handling compare to stock (does it raise the bike ?) nice set up man, I am loving it. I had racetech internal on mine, thinking of progressive 422, slammed mine down about 1 inches and 21-18 wheel set up
@@mightyhavan yeah the 21” wheel will raise the front up a little, with a drop kit like yours should be fine! I ended doing about a 4” drop on the front. As for handling the only difference I’ve noticed is while doing sharp turns you have to lean a little more.
@@CGOD I am 5.6 and currently running 1.50 - 16' Carlini ( I do believe fat Carlini tend to spread more to the side) so I have to lean quite a bit on sharp turn already. Thank you for the feedback man, I will keep that in mind. Maybe a forward seat will compensate a little bit more
@ you could always tilt your bars back towards yourself a little. I didn’t have air ride on my bike and with 20” Carlini’s I couldn’t lean very much before scraping the fishtails anyways
👍🏽
Bro-ham cuz 😎 lookin good...
✊🏾getting better!
So did you do this setup by yourself with a science of hydraulics b9ok
@@MarioMyers-q7i the car already had the hydraulic setup, I just added the accumulators
Love that color combo
@@LazySix slowly but surely she’s coming along!
The wires are for reverse lights one for the license plate light and if im not mistaken the other one goes to a switch where you pop that trunk it also pops the 5th wheel too nice ride homie.

You won't like it.
@@robmccoy1279 it was great! Ride it like that for over a year before regretfully selling it. I did install a spring seat also

I would absolutely never mess with the ride height this way on my deluxe .. lol
@@BrettRatcliffe-p2q after this video I lowered it even more lol Goodtimes!
@ still have the bike? How’s it ride?
@ I don’t have it anymore but I removed the rear shocks and hardtailed it, got shorter front forks and did like a 4” front drop. Rode pretty good but I also put on a spring seat to help with comfort.
@ 🤣🤣🤣 chopped up a deluxe to hard tail it… then added a spring seat for comfort .. you literally destroyed the bike
@ it was my favorite bike I ever owned and I rode it everyday. But yeah if you say so, sold it for way more than I paid for it🤷🏽♂️
I would have extended the porting by running a piece of the 3/4 inch board across the back of the box 2 inches from the back wall and 2 inches from either end. It would lower the frequency and give you a bit more cone control so it doesnt bottom out so easy
@@davidlavalle7583 one day ill get more in depth and possibly build my own box. This is just what I had at the moment
Even though I prepped my surface, it still peeled in the cold weather after 3 months of doing it.. This is not a permanent fix.

Ive got a 08 street glide. Love my 08. Great additions of the handlebars and true duals. Check out Eagle LED lighting for headlight and passing lamps. Youll be glad you did. Dont buy into the primary upgrade hype because hype is exactly what it is. Keep your bikes engine and drivetrain stock and dont ride it like a GSXR, it will serve you for 100k miles. Remember this, there are a ton of aftermarket company's out there pushing upgrades. Once you start this, you take away the longevity of your bike. Trust me, ive been riding for 50 years. Stay safe and enjoy the ride.
@@Glyder1959 I’ve always felt keeping the drivetrain stock is ideal for reliability and longevity. Only thing I do usually is exhaust as this one already has the Rinehart true dual headers, I’ve since added some different slip on pipes.
@@CGOD You’ve got a really great looking bike there. Don’t let anyone tell you the 96” twin cam is a bad engine. The 2008 was one of the best.
@ 2008 is my personal favorite for the electric throttle and still having the smaller back tire/fender. TC 96” is great for me, I don’t like the sound of the newer Milwaukee engines.
