I have the Gen 2 with the 0FG AWE exhaust which I like way better than the new trombone exhaust. I would have possibly considered upgrading to gen 3, but not with the ridiculous mark ups right now.
I have a truck that looks near identical to your old one. Same color. It might be a little biased but I think the GEN two looks meaner. I’m not ready to upgrade until some more significant changes are made. That being said congratulations on your purchase. Can’t wait to see what you turn into.
Yes. Gen 2 exterior is easily still the most beautiful raptor exterior. But when it comes to the interior the upgraded one is obviously way more contemporary with the display
yo nice one! that you have a super 73 in the "funtoys" section makes it even more nice!!! ;) also that you like to mod your truck, i would also do this definately. so funfact besides with a short little story behind it: 2 years ago i also baught myself a super73rx and then i thought, how can i carry it with me on vacations? i've played some rocket league and there i was able to buy a ford f150 truck, so i baught it for ingame...played with it and kinda liked the car, but never thaught this would become my dreamvehicle :D so because of rocket league and also my super 73 i got more and more interested in the ford f150 but for now, only in the raptor version and in the best case: the raptor r 2023 :D and all because i want a car which can do almost everything and carry my super 73 when i go on vacation in austria or anywhere else in europe. so in my view, it would be awesome if you maybe could do a video of your raptor carrying your super 73 s2 and maybe you could show how you fix it there, and how it fits on the bed and what else is possible to get there - its interesting because when i have this car, the next step is to go on a longer road trip across europe and also sleep and work out of the vehicle ;) would really appreciate either some feedback or in the best case a video about it :) thanks a lot and best wishes from germany :) p.s. btw its kinda hard to get the good us trucks here in germany for an affordable price, but nevertheless the hustle is real! :D bless up!
the first thing I would do is swap the bumpers for a baja/stealth style bumper, front and back. Also the rims and tires would have to go, I personally with the black would want to run some bronze wheels and right now just to stand out I'd run something like the te37XTs

@@nagelmotox284 gen 2 I get like 13mpg with my stage 2 goose and I drive it pretty hard. Gen 3 I’m getting around 14.5mpg but I’ve been driving very conservative for the first 1k miles.
@@TrueLoveTerry lmao sounds like you can't afford one so you're dogging it, the sad truth is the 6.2 is a hog compared to the Ecoboost, twin turbos or turbo anything will shit on NA v8s only thing the V8 has is a nice sound but fuel economy torque and all that falters without turbo's. Also I know you haven't been near one because they actually sound pretty damn good especially with exhaust, they have a deep tone don't sound like a 4 cylinder which is what Subarus have lmao Also you know they make the raptor R with the supercharged 5.2l right? Lol

I switched from a Gen 2 to Gen 3 and the Gen 3 is an upgrade in every way. To each their own I guess.
I love my CO Gen 3! The only thing I don’t like is that my Led parking lights on my passenger front headlight flickers.

Worth the upgrade for sure. I’ve had my Gen 2 almost 5 years and just a few weeks with the Gen 3 it’s a massive upgrade.
