    I also own a 2021 Gen 3 37 performance package and it’s been the best decision I ever made. It’s been a great experience owning it so far.

    Agreed, traded my 19 for a 22. Got $67,000 for my 19 and paid MSRP price protected on the gen3. Dealer only had a 35 allocation but no complaints. I do prefer the 37 wheels though.

    Answered the question I've been going over in my head lately: used Gen 2 or Gen 3. When Gen 3 came out I thought I liked the Gen 2 look more, but I've changed my mind on that, and the interior on Gen 3 looks like a huge upgrade over Gen 2.

    Appreciate the video, I have a 2017 Raptor and just ordered my 2023 Raptor I spent almost $6000 in motor and transmission repairs but now it's running great. I just hit 100,000 miles and took it to the dealer to get an apprasual and they said they could give me $34,000. I decided to just sale it by owner cause I think I can get more. this video helps thank you.

    I’m extremely on the fence if I should get a Gen 3 Raptor or a ‘23 Suoer Duty. I don’t haul much. Boat, hay wagons loaded, etc. I can build a F-350 with the 7.3 loaded for about the same price as a Gen 3 Raptor.

    got my gen 2 802A package for 55k with 40k miles on it. Honestly don't think that the value of my specific truck is going to go down, I only see them drop in value once they cross 70k miles. I'll probably sell mine for the same price I got it for as long as I let it go before it crosses 60k miles I think I'll be okay

    The cycle of the used car market is the older ones will always depreciate more as newer years and body styles are produced that’s life, but 55k and under gen 2 60 k and up gen3

    Can you get real snow tires, real softer rubber, numerous snipes, snow tires in both the 35 and 37 size that come with the Raptor, but especially the 35's? I'll get a three peak AT tire set for Easter to Thanksgiving, but prefer real snows from Thanksgiving to Easter where I live. And I know some AT's with the snowflake rating aren't bad, they will never be as good in the snow and ice as a real snow tire, especially on the roads. Thanks. I'm torn right now, buying a Platinum with powerboost and modifying a little, getting a Tremor and a little mod, or getting a Raptor, I'm leaning Raptor, in large part for that buttery smooth long distance highway drive, but also its go anywhere, anytime, any kind of weather abililty. Was leaning 37's until I heard your comments. Planning on buying a 2024, or late next year an early 2025 model. If available I'll likely get the new pro access tailgate, and I will definitely put a smooth, black Diamondback HD bedcover on whichever I get. Good review. Thanks.

    I will never get rid of my gen 2 for a gen 3.. In my opinion the gen 2 looks better and mine has 52000 miles fully loaded and no issues "just saying". Buy a base model gen 3 and have to use a key again no thanks lol. Ben you are right about one thing that things made in 2020 and beyond are real iffy. Also the remote start times are lowered, Seat belt alarms are more annoying then ever. Auto start stop get worse and worse. They are becoming more restrictive as everything is. As it might ride a little smoother well I believe it but at the same time I feel mine rides great. Not going to trade it in and be back in severe debt for the difference in these trucks. If I were you and use it as a business maybe but not for regular working class people. Keep it blue collar Ben

    • @JohnBustt
      @JohnBustt ปีที่แล้ว

      My ‘22 gen 3 has the auto stop/start deleted from the factory, it remote starts in no time, it has a WAY better infotainment center, and it has the “R” mode where you can customize your steering, suspension, exhaust, and save it to a setting where you can hop in and select it. There has been a few features added from the ‘21 to the ‘22. I love it

    • @jds3535b
      @jds3535b ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JohnBustt Thats not what i meant about the remote start. Not sure about Ford but our newer vehicles limit to 10 minutes which where I live is not long enough to heat up the vehicles in the winter. Also never said it wasnt nice just not worth the upgrade and paying 90 grand to do so.

    • @JohnBustt
      @JohnBustt ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jds3535b I agree that the price tags are pretty steep at most dealers. You can however find some pretty good dealers that will give you solid trade in and a good price on a gen 3. I traded my ‘21 TRX in for my ‘22 Gen 3 and only paid $3k over MSRP for the Gen 3 (802a 35 package, sticker was $78k). Just have to find someone willing to work with you.

      The tire has a larger sidewall with that it has more spring/flex with that it gives and moves more.

    Gen2 was not impressed going from my 2007 Tundra to that Raptor. Immediately got on list for the gen3 37. Wow night and day difference. Gen 37 is by great lengths ahead of any truck including trx. The Raptor R is a pedigree truck with unparalleled suspension coupled with a halo engine. Crazy price? Yes
    Worth more than trx? Absolutely! Avalanche grey Raptor R awaits my foot. Built awaiting a chip. But I've been #1 on a Raptor R list before there was a Raptor R.
