  • Take the passenger seat in this beautiful 1972 Scout II w/ Sean and talk why we do what we do here at Anything Scout. Yes, this video is a little different than our normally scheduled "Drive Thru" build videos but we believe it is important to share a bit of our philosophy behind our work on these pieces of history. We hope you enjoy!

What a beautiful video, you really get the message across that its not about the scout or the LS or anything like that. Its about getting the truck to do what it was built for, and enjoying the lifestyle that having a truck with these capabilities brings.

Really enjoy seeing and learning from your builds, ! Very much purpose-built and functional for everyday use. I currently own a 1976 Bronco with 57K original miles and paint, but I am thinking of swapping to a Scout II. One of the main reasons is I'm thinking there is a little more interior room in the Scout, especially in the front/drivers seat area. What is the overall weight of one of your Scout II builds, assuming a 6L LS motor, no extra stuff (i.e., winch, roof rack, rock sliders, skids, ), and swing out tire carrier?

On my '66 bronco, the lack of power driving in a mildly suburban area stressed me out. So when I get a scout drive train will be the first thing that's taken care of.
