This is my rig and I can't say enough good things about the guys over at Anything Scout. Sean and his guys have a true passion for their jobs and it shows in their desire to do everything they can to make to make your vision a reality. If you get the chance to work with them, I'd highly recommend it.
It's a beautiful Scout. I will be sending mine to them when I finish anesthesia school and can afford it. I might borrow that orange color, if it's cool with you. I do live in Bronocs country.
Building a 77 as I comment!!! Plan to drive it out west from Georgia when complete!! Buying tons of parts from Anything Scout!! Y’all are great to work with!!
i grew up in a scout my dad bought a brand new one in 77 it was a 78, 4cy 4speed 4x4 black in color, rusted out in 2 years lol he was so upset about the rust. it ran great he put over a 100k before giving it to my uncle and he put another 100k on it and never any work done to it, i also had the matching scout toy they sold out the dealership. i loved that scout and never had a chance to own one since I have grown up. i have had many k5 broncos and jeeps i even had cj8 scrambler in high school. like the work you guys do who knows some day maybe i will own one because i still love them scouts.
I really enjoy these videos - please continue to promote more of the products that Anything Scout manufactures/sells/recommends during the videos and how they make owning/restoring/4 wheeling a Scout a better experience.
Love these videos, it gives me ideas for my Scout II. I really like it when you go into all of the fine details I wish you would show more of that stuff, like the dash wiring and the door latch, etc.
Thanks for video !! Sweet 75 Scout II. I have 75 scout II as well. I have had mine since mid 90's. Got it from original owner. Needs some body work, but nearly everything original works. I love it !!!! Not many around in Alabama.
Dan at the Binder Boneyard does great work on these rigs, it’s a niche community and I’m glad to see the shout out. I never tire of watching these videos, you do an amazing job every time. Support!! Thanks for sharing!!!
when they pass through they will get shot and posted for you!! right now we are seeing a lot more of our Scout II's and standard LS swaps. definitely wanting to bring more of the traveler and r28 videos your way!
we do our best to highlight what was done by us so going to the back meant highlighting the new bumper, carpet kit and roll cage w/ seat belts. sorry we didn't go more in depth, definitely noted for the next one!
Spring over is closer to a 5" lift and you get the advantage of better ground clearance at the axles and ability to stay with stock springs. Disadvantage is higher center of gravity and more modification to steering, brake hoses, etc
Just a friendly observation if Sean is pointing something out it would be nice for the camera to focus on that area rather than just Sean. Hahaha. As handsome as he is, still would be nice to see the items he is talking about.
in all of our videos that is the goal but sometimes we only have limited time to shoot a video so we do the best we can. it's something we are continually wanting to improve on! thanks for the support!
Videos would be better if camera person would show what your talking about instead of focusing on you the entire time. Love your work, you guy build some great looking trucks.
we do our best to highlight what was done by us so going to the back meant highlighting the new bumper, carpet kit and roll cage w/ seat belts. sorry we didn't go more in depth on this, we are still improving and trying to bring you all the best content! thanks for the feedback!
Wish yall had redone my electric.. still having wiring issues... and speedo never works... still love yall... but wish some of the work was done... driver door still dont close!!! Love and dont love your vids... Peace
Things that are all part of our standard process now. We have had a lot of builds where people don't want that extra cost but then later down the road it goes bad and they regret not doing those things.
one day will ship may baby from hamburg/germany to new york and drive over to you. for a swap a coffee or a beer and a talk. i cross my fingers the the people of your wonderful country come together again soon. THE DREAM OF A ROADTRIP TO ANYTHING SCOUT HAVE TO COME TRUE. stay cool and enthusiastic. cool and authentic thats the right way for a scout to look. will post a pictuce of mine on your facebook page.

I think I speak for everyone when I say, no ones tired of the builds.. carry on.
I had a 1975 SS with a 196 4 cyl Comanche - great torque - could not get stuck ! Wish I still had it.
Great Scout
Super clean daily driver. I like the solid rear side windows instead of the sliders
Funny, I've been debating putting sliders in but I love my original solid glass. It's only original once ;)
@@Beejmiles yep. and they dont leak lol

I’m excited
I really like the clean look inside on the refresh. I just picked a 78. What's the best way to clean the gauges once off?
Just a water and a rag?
You went to the back of the truck and talked about it but didnt show it? :D

Great rig. I daily mine but need rust repair, hard to pull that $$trigger, any recommendations?
Is there any advantage of doing the spring over axle swap or a 2.5” lift?
Spring over is closer to a 5" lift and you get the advantage of better ground clearance at the axles and ability to stay with stock springs. Disadvantage is higher center of gravity and more modification to steering, brake hoses, etc
Very cool - If you have already have a Scout you love, What are the all in costs for a driver series upgrade like this?
hey brian! we would love to talk, shoot us an email at parts@anythingscout.com!
Love the videos. Can a Dana 300 transfer case mount to the GM Auto 6-speed? Can they still be sourced anywhere?
It will need an adapter tailhousing.
Loving the new vids. Keep them coming! First 🥇
thanks Matt!! we appreciate the support!
I’m in love.
Where can I buy the front bumper ???l great job
Could someone please tell me where to find the felt window channel for the side hard top sliding glass?
Thanks.
Do people come to you with their finds to convert or do you have an inventory of those you are selling?
Most of the time people are coming to us with their Scout for the conversions!
Is the body going to be restored also?
nope! thats how she's staying!
Where can I buy the front bumper???
What was that thing poking out of the lower aft portion of the left rear quarter panel?
@SuperDave Miorgan 10-4. Thanks
