- Welcome back to the channel and back to another iceberg video! Today we are taking a look at the urban legends and myths iceberg in video games. We run through several different game series and the different mysteries and myths surrounding them.

It will never stop being funny to me that the "Evil farming game" was the result of Vinesauce Joel of all people. People were genuinely searching for this game and it turns out it was a literal fever dream caused by watching the Swedish meme man.

Catastrophe crow was created entirely for ARG purposes, but the attention to detail to n64 games is immaculate.
The XBOX 720 was also mentioned on the Simpsons game, lisa was talking about future game consoles in the game station hub level "what if the XBOX 720 comes out or the Play station 4 no one would want to play us then" they predicted the PS4 though and apparently you can play the Simpsons game on it.
I fondly remember the online videogame rumor ecosystem of the late 90s/early 00s. One wild rumor I read was about Final Fantasy VII where you could breed a weird chocobo, walk to a weird location (maybe the moon, I can't remember), and you fight a super secret "Octagon Weapon". A friend and I tried to breed this chocobo for days. There was one prerequisite chocobo we couldn't breed, like a male black chocobo or something like that. I late found out that this whole thing was a farce. But, I loved really believing that an insane secret could be tucked away in a game like that.
On Master Chief's face, it's relatively easy to construct an adult face, as we've seen him numerous times as a child. He's a ginger, with red, shaved hair and freckles.

The main reason as to why the us version is creepy is because the boss theme is used for the screen, for japan, they got a bop. For the us, we got nightmards

"That evil farming game" sounds like a legitimate case of Cryptomnesia, which is described as "a forgotten memory that returns without it being recognized as such by the subject, who believes it is something new and original." which I'd never heard of actually happening till now!

Yeah I didn't realize until editing that thats what was the case, I threw a text correction into the video afterwards but yeah I never played Mario RPG so wasn't super familiar with its characters lol

I think the GMOD shadow figures are legit. I played that game for like 30 minutes total, only on default maps, and I 100% did see figures real quick as I was looking around and my friend said "oh yeah those are an easter egg they put in the map"

Scripulous Fingore is also part of a meme where people made a similar character and were claiming it was in the Simpsons (Graggle Simpson). The weird part is I think there was actually a character that looks a lot like Scripulous Fingore, but I think it was a Super Mario World beta sprite of a koopa or something. Yoshi's beta sprite also looks a lot like it too.

For the Sonic CD one, that's just the Boss BGM, and Sonic CD US edition had that over-the-top spooky boss theme.

Considering that in Garry's Mod A. Like you mentioned it is very easily modable and B. It's a literal sandbox where you can change anything about anything that isn't nailed to the ground and part of the map I wouldn't give that Gmod myth any even the beginnings of consideration of being real. Also that map at 18:56 I actually recognize that map, It's from specific creator that does like "[X popular map] but haunted" and they've done like GM_Construct, GM_Flatgrass, and rp_downtown_V2 which is the map in that clip. So I wouldn't believe it.
I remember watching a video about how to get savini Jason (a dlc) in the Friday the thirteenth video game. You'd have to smash all the windows in the farm house of Higgins haven and when you heard a laugh you know you did it right. I was desperate and I had the game on switch. we all know how this ends.

Oh my god... the first place I ever saw "Scripulous Fingore" was in a silly little video with the audio "It was YOU! You are the cringe-ass nae-nae baby of legend!" The only cringe iceberg videos I find are the ones that try to be scary, I remember one where the narrator constantly spoke he was reading a spooky campfire story and at the bottom layer there was constant scary techno-sounding music that was actually drowning him out so you could barely hear what he said.
