    I just watched this movie last night (Thought it was great btw) and I judged Moore before seeing her as Palin. I thought no way what a bad choice Moore really? Fey has got the goods. Moore was awesome in mimicking Palin and acted her down to the T. Harrelson was in his excellent as always acting element and Ed Harris performed very well as McCain. Palin is a self serving witch and treated the opportunity for her beauty queen grandstand vs. the good of this country.

    Tina Fey never look like Palin to me. Julianne Moore really had the uncanny similarity to Palin.

    i am not an american, but like people from the rest of the world i am impressed how america established itself in the world, i respect the wonderful leadership it had, which brought it to this point...but first time or atleast first in my living time...i could not understand how such a great country with so much of intellectual resource came up with such a dumb choice for leadership...its not sarah Palin who is dumb, but the social and the political pyramid of usa is to be faulted,

    I really don't get you Palin appologisers. McCain's former top aid and Sarah Palin's former aid called the depictions accurate. Also, it makes perfect sense in light of what we all saw from the Charles Gibson interview, Katie Couric interview, that fact that she couldn't name a newspaper, didn't know Africa was a continent, phone prank, etc. Palin and McCain both said the movie is inaccurate yet they admitted they haven't seen the movie. In light of this, how can you call it a hatchet job?

      Schmidt recognized the historic importance of the election of the 1st African-American President of the US. Palin did not. She wanted 1 last chance to soak up the adoration of her "fans" before heading back to Alaska, & political obscurity.

    Steve Schmidt was actually wrong when he said that "no losing Vice President has every given a concession speech." Dan Quayle gave one when Bush the Elder and he lost the 1992 Presidential election.

      Oh for god sakes, not everything is about race 100. Christ, you're like the Republicans with the "You hate the troops" when someone didn't agree with Iraq...it's a run-to crybaby reply.
      As for Schmidt, James Trout, Schmidt stated no Vice President candidate ever did a concession speech - Quayle was an actual elected Vice President, unlike the The Quitter From Wasiller.

    • @JoniAntonio
      @JoniAntonio 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      In Quayle's case, however, he was a sitting vice-president and in a separate location from Bush--his hometown of Huntington, Indiana.

      Yoni617
      That's exactly correct, Yoni. Quayle was ELECTED vis a vis Papa Bush, while Palin was a CANDIDATE. The quote by Harrellson as Schmidt was 100% accurate.

      That would not surprise me. Geraldine Ferraro was the first woman to be on a major party ticket in general. She was also the last Democrat on a Presidential ticket to not have been a statewide elected official.

      Steven Schmidt on Trump today, June 25, 2108. "He's a supernova of ignorance. He's inciting through mass rallies and constant lying, favoring the political base. He scapegoats minority populations and affixes blame to them for every problem the country faces. He alleges conspiracies of nefarious forces; he creates a mass sense of victimization amongst his base, and then he asserts extraordinary claims of power to protect the victims from these scapegoated populations and the nefarious conspiracies. That is fundamentally illiberal, deeply un-American, and frankly, to be straight out of Munich, circa 1928. It's very alarming."
