She definitely was. She looks so much like her. I thought Tina Fey was the pinnacle of impersonating her, and then I saw this movie and I was like, well god damn.
I am a Palin fan, and I thought Julianne showed the depth of her as a person. I didn't feel that her portrayal was insulting, it registered as painfully true.
Same here! I don't agree with Palin politically or religiously, but I felt sincerely bad for the way she was treated after watching that movie. Whatever she may be politically, she is a fellow human being and it hurt to see a woman and a mother steamrolled like that so that John McCain could make inroads with women voters.
May I ask how you’re a Sarah Palin supporter given how, well, let’s just say, how much she doesn’t know? And after she resigned as Governor of Alaska just one year after the 2008 debacle that was her run for VP? What is there to still support?
Yeah, people keep talking about Meryl Streep (who _is_ ,of course, phenomenal) but to me, for two decades now, Julian Moore has been really close to that level and I don't think she gets near as much cred. Love your work girl!
To me, Julianne Moore looked and acted extactly like Palin, much more than Tina Fey. With Fey I can see a resemblance but never saw the "Fey looks just like Palin" that people were saying back then.
She is amazing in this movie. And its totally believable that this is how things were behind the scenes. She doesn’t have to make things up. I look back to this time when we thought she was the worst thing that could happen in the Republican Party. The h, what sweet summer children we were back then.
In 6:15 "Why did we so respond to people with tremendous charisma, and a movie star quality, and good looks? Why do we value that over substance time and time again? Why is it planned in the media that way?..." There you go Julianne Moore. American politics and media (obviously left wing) just answered your question. I'm pretty sure she's talking about the election of Obama over old man McCain or even Romney with a history of successful projects over Obama's community organizing achievements.
Julianne becomes Palin in that movie. It is just amazing!
I agree. She was very convincing. Great movie.
She really does.
Wow, I thought that WAS the actual Sarah Palin. Wow!!!
Julianne Moore was so convincing as Palin!

I'm actually not a Julianne Moore fan and am a Sarah Palin supporter however, she NAILED Sarah Palin...amazing performance.
Are you still a Palin fan?

Get well soon ❤

Thank you
I love this damn movie
Love how Julianne Moore responds to the interviewer and talks about "the core of the movie"
To me, Julianne Moore looked and acted extactly like Palin, much more than Tina Fey. With Fey I can see a resemblance but never saw the "Fey looks just like Palin" that people were saying back then.
she is a fantastic actor!
Ed Harris' expression is priceless.
How ham I only hearing of this movie now? Goodness she IS Sarah Palin, yet I would have never expected her to transform so convincingly.
Steve n CRUM P? Elementary.
Tell Your mom Chris I said hi.😂
Hahaha I love how she said "I had tremendous resources available to me" That is such a Sarah Palin statement!
this must have been a hard role for her, too drop your IQ too sarah palins level is no easy feat.

Lambsquad_90 ;)
Crazyman1212 Palin’s*
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Julianne keeps her composure when she's in the public eye, but I bet she's always criticizing Sarah Palin in her mind. I like that.
Great movie!!!....great job Woody !
I feel smarter for seeing this movie, and so glad she's is NOT VP.

The press was not fair to Palin
Julianne Moore so fine.
