- "Iowa Republicans voiced scepticism on Monday over Sarah Palin’s claim to be contemplating a campaign for president in 2016, amid criticism of her unusual speech to a conservative rally in the state.
The former Alaska governor and vice-presidential nominee revived speculation about her future over the weekend by twice telling reporters that she was interested in running for the White House next year, before addressing the Freedom Summit in Des Moines.
However, her disjointed 33-minute speech - in which she described President Barack Obama as an “overgrown little boy who is acting kinda spoiled”, and declared “the man can only ride you when your back is bent” - received poor reviews even from some conservatives."* The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down.

She's a crazy woman. She has a lot of passion for her beliefs, which is fine, passion is a good thing.. but she doesn't have the brains for it. There's too many volts going through too small a wire. That makes people crazy.

I think your analogy makes more sense if you say "there's too many Amps going through too small a wire". Voltage is the measurable potential in energy between the wire and ground. Electron current flows (current is measured in Amps) through the wire which when too high can cause the wire to melt and open the circuit... that is what I believe Palin has been experiencing. Too many open circuits and not enough connections being made in her brain.

Ya know, someday I'm gonna miss Sarah Palin, even after all these years, her speeches are still, effectively, painfully, embarrassing, and I hate her, but it's entertaining. It's kinda like Silent hill, that game terrifies me, but its entertaining, but more like Steve Carell from the Office.
