Thumbs up if you watched this after watching "Game Change". It's interesting that that movie was so spot on but yet the Palin Camp. (surprised there is even one) said it is a verbose exaggeration of her campaign to become vice president. Pay close attention to my wording hahahaha!

I guess asking a potential Vice President what books or magazines they like to read is a "gotcha" question.

It's like he said though, Couric was hardly unfair in her interview. When you walk into a national interview this unprepared, every question is going to seem like a 'gotcha' question.

Funny how Bristol Palin said Julianne Moore exaggerated her accent in Game Change but you can hear Sarah’s accent here. The movie portrayed this scene perfectly

Why did Sarah Palin accepted the vice president role from John McCain, why was it so difficult to just say no I'm not qualified for this and being Governor of Alaska is enough for me and my family. I saw the movie Game Change, John McCain wasn't fit to be President. He should've went with the safe choice of Lieberman or Meg Whitman or Susan Collins. Since they was so afraid of not gaining some female votes. And Steve didn't vet her properly, Nicole Wallace was cognizant of that immediately.

Well, she couldn't say the New York Times, because the next question would have been about the headline that morning... it's obvious, Sarah doesn't read anything.. and she hasn't rectified that in the interim. Read the Game Change book - they literally had a day to vet her; but OTOH, McCain isn't the brightest bulb in the room either, so he didn't notice the problems when they talked. As much as I hate Clinton also, the sex fiend that is he, at least he was a policy wonk.

Is being asked what you read something anyone has to prepare for? The rest or us can answer that question in a second and move on, but if you're that one person who somehow does not read anything. . . . .

Part of being prepared is being focused. If your brain is scrambled, you can easily flub up very easy questions. Maybe Sarah Palin has never read anything in her life, but when Schmidt says she was this unprepared it's easy to see how she would answer a question that way.
