1:29:27 That's my art! I noticed the comment on the watermarks of it being like a fog, and I have had people try to steal my art in the past which is why I had to put so many on the piece in the first place. The other comment about it being made by the Sun made me laugh a little too hard I think, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The orbs around the character (her name is Straella, by the way) are supposed to be suns that represented the planets (and Pluto) in our Solar System, and the sea of watermarks could be something like the Oort Cloud, if you want to think of it like that. I'm extremely honored that my art made it into the video, I've looked up to you and your art, and it's inspired me to pick up drawing again as a coping mechanism for my depression and for past trauma that I went through. You're a saint, keep up the good work and the amazing content. :^)

The one at 1:15:39 is mine! I was so excited to see it got included! To settle your quandary, I did the purple outlines first, then I did the blue jelly filling. I was having so much fun with the Kaweco Sport and the Muji fountain pen, both of which I bought on your recommendation. (The blue was the Kaweco, fine nib and aluminum body) You're the reason I started drawing with fountain pens, and I love them! It's like it all came full circle with my doodle being featured on one of your episodes. Ps. Thanks for all the nice things you said about it, it really made my day! You're the best
Im still watching the rest of the video but at 13:10 thats mine! Im sorry the name wasnt on the picture. I reposted it with the name a few hours after but I understand it was on me for not putting it on the art the 1st time. Im so excited! I would love to see you draw inside of an ink blot like that in a video! Thank you for reviewing all these art pieces! You really brightened my day, Peter!

2:45:35 that's my drawing! and yes peter, you are right about the sky being kind of weird. because, i actually expanded the picture with photshop, upper (empty) part of the sky and lower part of the sand doesn't exist in the original piece. i did it in order to make it look more appealing and fit the ratio of instagram
Thanks for the review I'm glad you enjoyed it! (11:28). It's not painted on wood. I used a printmakers ink roller to lay down the paint to give it a different texture. The two small lines were put down after everything else was painted. It was too plain without them.
That was a beautiful piece! The yellow "dots and dashes" remind me of Morse Code. Really like the colors and composition, and the two lines finished it nicely.
It's hard to critique someone's art based only on aesthetics and no context. I think it's nice that you do your best to give an honest opinion gently. I personally feel like a teacher who tells me both what's working and what skills need work is expressing more faith in my potential than a teacher who just always says LOOKS GREAT. Not that you're teaching, necessarily, but still. I like seeing what everyone is doing. Some very interesting work going on, here.
I have often thought that if Peter wanted to work as a teacher or professor he'd be great in that role - honest but kind, thought-provoking and inspiring :D
For peter, art is the satisfying way lines and doodles feel as he puts them down, for an art teacher it might be Anatomy and prespective and then for someone like you it is personal and requires context. Art is just a series of lines or splotches that somebody decided was worth being labeled as art. The only way I know you can force context onto the viewer is by putting a huge paragraph about the context in the middle of the art itself. Something like a podium on a statue or something like that. Though some might argue that the extra context would ruin the aesthetic. :/ The problem with art is that, you can't be a bad judge but it also works both ways, you cant be a good judge. He is judging art from what he thinks art is. Which I think is very admirable. Just like how I admire what your opinion is. Also! Peter has already explained why he tells people their art looks great in a previous video, he explained that the reason he does it is because any art is better than none at all.
Hey the painting of the blue boy with the headphones on is mine! ( 1:36:10 ) The picture is of my brother ( he’s a gamer not a pilot haha). I’m glad you liked it! I’m still pretty new to painting on canvas and off to university next year so this is definitely a confidence boost! Thanks peter :)
Really happy that you reviewed my artwork of the shark character design (1:40:44). The ruff outlines were probably because I draw it on paper and then scan it to continue the process. I remember you mentioning the spit of the character looking weird and when you pointed that out, I agreed. I feel like I should of either did it in a different approach or just have the creature. Anyways, I'm just very excited that you were able to critique my art in a fair manner. Tbh, I've been having a hard time finding people to look at my art from a critical standpoint. Really appreciate it. Thank you for the great video. 'it's a sharpie permanent marker'
