Don’t give up too easily. I will watch this whole video, but I will watch it piecemeal. Maybe 10 minutes each day. There might be a day when I skip and don’t watch any, or I might watch 15 minutes. Music videos are a lot different because I can make a sandwich and still listen to the music in the background but with Peter you wanna watch his artwork! Best of luck to you! 💗💗💗🖼
Whenever you use color I hate the way it looks all the way up to the end, then it suddenly looks amazing. Seeing it be slowly built looks weird but the end result is always beautiful
I really appreciated Peter demonstrating his process of trying something new, becoming overwhelmed and talking himself back. The keep trying mentality is awesomely role models here! Thank you Peter! Needed this today :)
I love these long videos! They’re my favorites for sure, I just draw along with you and it’s like actually hanging out except for that you can’t see or hear me thing, lol.
I've never been high before, but the way your videos make me feel I would guess is the closest thing I've felt to being high 🤣 I feel so zen and I begin to think differently about the world around me
Peter its always a joy to see you draw, miss the twitch streams but I'm glad you're still putting out content! It always inspires me to get back into drawing :). Hope all is well -CJ
27:23 is something i needed to hear today! ive been pretty art blocked for a loooooong time now and haven't really had even the vaguest idea of what to draw, and everything i do draw just doesn't turn out how i like and.. well, i'm still creating, aren't i? it should be worth my time to make art, even if it looks jank. anyways, love the live draws!! more of this, it's so relaxing.
Beautiful. You should defo do more drawings with colours. I remember a few years ago you did a drawing with glow in the dark colours and the background was black. That was super cool
i draw a lot like you, but i could never stop watching your channel. i often do compare my art to yours and in my head, mine always falls short. so i’m stuck between watching my favorite creator, and enjoying my own art.
You have helped me so much with my demons of creating such as frustration, perfection, judgement, and impatience. Thank you for helping me see everything will be okay.
PeterDraws: The movie Experience the whimsical world like no other than the hungry but happy and artful Peter as he subconsciously illustrates egg yokes, eggs scrambled, tomatoes, chickpeas, sour gummieworms, ketchup, water, and a whale, all while openly sharing letters and internal conflicts regarding the fundamental nature of art itself.
Thank you Peter! That was fun-I like the long form video. I took out my Prismacolor and Spectrum Noir markers (cheaper cousins of Copic-I won’t even mention the cheap-cheaper cousins because they aren’t even invited to the bbq’s) and played along. I always label and swatch them but it doesn’t always help because of different paper or the atmospheric pressure/moon phase. Those buggers do what they want. Especially the Posca which I always end up with starter marks on my hand too. I thought you overheated at the end like the camera, or went over “the bridge” and left us.
Fantastic! I love the style you have developed. Watching you step out of your comfort zone was interesting, too. You brought in the element of colour, yet your flavour shone through. Beautiful and soothing. You had a headache and felt sad but still created amazing art. Well done, Peter.
Peter, I have missed your Minecraft content because of the lengthy adventure you would take me on for the days of joy and inspiration your videos would bring. This very excellent video I hope will partially fill that void. Looking forward to this adventure!
PETER I just saw you at my local coffee shop and I had a fan girl moment, you were walking out and I didn’t say anything but I have thought about meeting you 100x since I found out you live near me. I LOVE YOU ❤️
37:10 (when you're filling in that bottom left bit) looks like a woman at a typewriter :) I really enjoy your videos, thank you for sharing your work with us!
The beauty of it is it’s whatever order you want to do it in but in my head I always do a sketch with a pencil then the line work then the color but to each their own I love your work your a amazing artist
Hullo Peter, I am starting my comment before I finish as I know that you create phenomenal content! Looks good so far! I have used alcohol markers for coloring comics and comic art! I have always started light and adding more layers or coats as needed. As long as the ink is dry the alcohol does not have an effect on the ink Lines. Carbon Black ink is a good choice for Copic’s! I will have to finish later tonight or tomorrow. Ok back to the video!
i love your videos peter, no matter what kind of content you post i find it incredibly relaxing seeing your artistic process is always so refreshing. keep it up man:) p.s i hate math
I can’t believe you don’t have a million subs yet! I love your art and your commentary. I have a big tapestry in my room of one of your pieces and love it, good convo starter :)
2:05:32 I can absolutely relate. I imagine myself yelling, but in a way that makes me successful and those feelings go away. Hope you're doing well, Peter!
You didn't put in the description if the colors ended up looking the same in the video as real life... I need to know! Haven't finished the video yet but I'm enjoying it very much. I've always been fascinated watching you draw because every line or shape you make is never what I expect, but it always works out.
Oh sorry I forgot about that! I’ll add it now, but yes I think I got it like 9/10 close, it wasn’t that hard, I think the monitor I was looking at was more misleading than I expected
Hello! I've always wondered about this, and maybe I never knew it before, but have you ever had music on in the background? Like something quite, classical, or meditation type tunes. Love your stuff!
You can pull the tips out and swap them for bullet tips or whatever you want. Those markers are great on paper made for them. You can go over your color to remove all brush strokes, you can blend them, you can reworks them and the tips don't get dirty. Blend red and yellow and the tip will be fine. Amazing. Marker paper is this and made bleed insanely, but it looks great. You don't want fat paper for watercolor that will suck the markers dry
I just made the bridge and the portal by hand out of Sculpey then baked them to harden them. They are informal talismans of a sort; to be held in the hand when thinking/wishing/dreaming.
Please do some more really long video and i like all the comments that you make especially when you say that even when you get ugly or messy its still art so just express and explore.😅😅
looks like a filtration system, a sump for city water. In our city, there is such a structure near the ocean. Very similar. You seem to draw abstractly, but subconsciously draw something.
If I’m understanding you, Peter, you’re suggesting that I stop watching your videos to maintain my artistic individuality. I feel like I’m going to be rude either way now. 😢
It's probably good advice to not look at artists similar to your style to keep yourself from accidentally being overly influenced by their work. Hard to actually practice that though!! I feel like I'm needing to question why I'm making the choices that I do, just to make sure I want that line there myself, and not because I saw someone else do it. Seems like it would be exhausting, but I kind of like that process of analyzing my work as I go.
Hey Peter! I haven't been here since around the time you went to school. How have you been? Did you finish? I remember asking you to draw with that (I think Biq) flat pen. You said yes but I don't see it!!!! Please hmu some time bro. I'll be around
Person who doesn't work with color much: I think I will develop a color palette first! Nope, I think I'll just wing it! ... I do the same, working in 2hb pencil most of the time, but if I have to use color for an important drawing with new markers or colored pencils I do some sort of color palette just to run it through my mind.
In the beginning it looks like a car went careening off a cliff at high speed and ended up crashed into the branches of a tree. Then it started looking like a monster eating a car stuck in a tree and everyone bleeding all over the place. After adding the yellow, it looks a little bit like a bald giant embracing the car crash tree and monster, and maybe dancing a little. Then it started looking like everything splashed down with a great deal of commotion and chaos. into a river that runs out from a cave. And then it looked like the river was flowing out to a UFO crash site, with the car crash tree, the monster, and the dancing giant splashing along. And a blind snake. And the jungle took over.
"Ah finally a new Peter Draws video. I have a few minutes to watch this... Oh it's how long?!"
*still watches the whole thing*
Don’t give up too easily. I will watch this whole video, but I will watch it piecemeal. Maybe 10 minutes each day. There might be a day when I skip and don’t watch any, or I might watch 15 minutes. Your words always make me want to draw more. You take the stress out of art thank you
I miss the days when long form videos were getting more love . You’re awesome Peter keep on doin u
I love long! I can't fall asleep unless I'm listening to you draw and talk about random things. knocks me right out. best unintentional asmr ever.😪
“that’s crazy, no it’s not…or maybe it is…maybe that’s why i should!”
Whenever you use color I hate the way it looks all the way up to the end, then it suddenly looks amazing. Seeing it be slowly built looks weird but the end result is always beautiful

Love me some Lofi Peter Draws radio on a Monday afternoon

Enjoying watching you do art. And yes, actually there is a backspace on a typewriter keyboard....

There's even a slice of swiss cheese on the right side! Or is it pepperoni pizza? I also see an avocado and maybe some bacon 😊
Brilliant artwork. Peter always calm me he makes me happy and he is a genius. Thank you.🥰

I love it
I like the M. Ward shirt Peter! Great artist, you’ve got good taste
Yeah! So good
Drawing swirls and shapes is good for art block. Doodling and practicing different techniques. Something will eventually jog loose.
This is immense 😊 I enjoy it thoroughlyyyyy
PETER I just saw you at my local coffee shop and I had a fan girl moment, you were walking out and I didn’t say anything but I have thought about meeting you 100x since I found out you live near me. I LOVE YOU ❤️
I have been watching your videos for years
I sell cars at Rice Toyota if you ever wanna come visit me🙂
I didn’t see you but I heard you say “oh my god!”
@regina Iam I would have talked to her if she had said hi to me, I didn't know she was saying "oh my god" about me until reading these comments
I love these colors.

The brush markers are really relaxing to watch.

haha I was so glad it was actually there :D Thanks for reminding Mr. Peter lol
Hey Peter, great video. I was wondering if you’ve ever made a video where you draw with your left hand. If not, you should make one!
Hello! I've always wondered about this, and maybe I never knew it before, but have you ever had music on in the background? Like something quite, classical, or meditation type tunes. Love your stuff!

Many mine art from the same art vein, but all come out with their own voice.
totally psychédélik, bravissimo mister Peter
Thanks very much for silky carpet ❤
Still getting through this video.... I use a Uni-ball Signo White ink pen. I find it works great for my watercolour or marker artworks.
Yeah I think I have a couple of those somewhere, I’ll try that next time
I just made the bridge and the portal by hand out of Sculpey then baked them to harden them. They are informal talismans of a sort; to be held in the hand when thinking/wishing/dreaming.
I like that you are into color lately... 😎
Oh wait. I looked at one 4 years ago in color too. Well, ok and you don't look the same or your desk area. So, I was not very observant. Ok draw on...
Please do some more really long video and i like all the comments that you make especially when you say that even when you get ugly or messy its still art so just express and explore.😅😅
This is awesome!
Thanks Kelly!
are you using streamyard or what type of broadcast platform ? love it. Seeing two cameras. How do you toggle back and forth. Wow very cool.
I recorded with two cameras and edited them together afterwards
@@peter_draws Very Cool . Love it. what video editor do you use. I have tried Luma Fusion and RUSH and imovie. Love your videos !
I use Adobe Premiere Pro
im glad your name is peter today:)
Well for those who always wanted an illustration for the frog in a blender joke . . . Grib it! Grib it!
0:03 is your name always Peter or just today?
About a smartphone contrast was a good idea !
Love all of it except the red bit in the lower left, I must have been intimidated by the red too.
Birdy
It’s a scary color
Agree with you
Draring perfection plus 88

What brand of water color pens/markers is Peter using?
Copic Sketch markers. The solvent is alcohol. Colors are beautiful.
Can you do one of those feeling videos again please on the post it notes it’s lowky relatable
super cool
if today your name's Peter then what was your name yesterday Peter?
👍
I feel you on all the markers being the same
it's like in the movie "Camelot": what is the king doing now? He dreams that he is fishing 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
👍👍
I love the word impordant
Colours look exact on my screen.
It's like Twitch all over

What is the concrete fountain pen?

Peter Draws Coloring Book !
I sometimes feel like a big featureless red area that somebody forgot not to draw on.
Sounds like Siberia

Why is mankind obsessed with borders and outlines? With drawing, cartoons and comics, we can't cope with a picture without black lines for some reason
Great drawing. If you want to learn more about Copic markers I highly recommend Sandy Allnock’s channel or one of her online classes!’
Nice
Hey Peter I hope all is well. I’ve missed a bit from being too busy.
You drew the bottom 3rd of Louisiana
I think I heard your neck pop at the end.
DC is a half hour away from Baltimore
2 HOURS WOAH
I didn’t get this in my feed until the stream was done dammit
Today your name is Peter but what about tomorrow and the subsequent days?
