Peter, it sounds like she used FriXion ink. Put it in the freezer for a bit and the blank circles should come back! FriXion ink is 'erasable' with friction/heat.
While falling asleep I used to imagine that I was a knight sleeping at a makeshift camp. The pillow was my rucksack full of supplies and the blanket was my hero cloak. Anyway, thanks for another great video!
It doesn't have to be a world ending masterpiece everytime, I needed to hear that I've been putting too much pressure on myself for every line I lay down. Thank you...

When I was younger, my mattress and box spring were directly on the ground, and it was about 1.5 feet from the wall. I used to sleep next to my bed with a small stool over my head that I put my alarm clock on, so my head was in deeper darkness and I used to imagine I was in a fox burrow
I've gotten into crocheting recently and I enjoy having these videos on in the background, it's nice to be creating at the same time as someone else! Thank you for your videos, they help me relax in a time like this and I appreciate the work you do :)
I bought myself a bluetooth speaker recently, and I have it playing space ship sounds and I put it behind my pillow. It makes the bed vibrate softly. Good times.
Feels like we're sitting down to coffee together. I love watching your drawings unfold, too, all the little details, the way the whole scene takes shape. Thank you, Peter
1. That sensation from watching a show while doing art and getting flashbacks, I totally get that too. 2. I don’t know about sleeping in a tight space, but I’ve always found closets to be really cozy. My closet in my last apartment was roomy enough to make a reading nook. It was so nice to feel like I was hiding under my clothes. I felt really safe.
Peter ,you are always you and that’s why people sub to you, watch you and follow your complex but very interesting work, which I might say is unique to you .I love your chatter.too so real and blatantly truthful ,some may say Blunt but, it’s a big part of you and your journey.Your work is evolving all the while ,you explore new things too .I have been Subscribed to you for quite a while now and I can see the difference from then until now.So Perez just continue being you 😀

I have a comfy upholstered armchair with a long ottoman that I sleep on. The arms are very comforting, as they wrap around my upper torso, like a cacoon. It reminds me of a period of time, as a teen, when I would put down some blankets in my narrow bedroom closet and sleep there. Being an attic room closet, with its slanted ceiling, it was even more sensory depriving...and womb-like. I enjoy close spaces, which is a good thing, as I currently live in just 200 sq. ft. of space. I enjoyed hearing of your similar unique sleeping arrangements.
I just love this channel so much and the mail you get and the people sending you the mail and the comment section, this channel is the best thing on the internet 😍😍😍😍
Been binging on your videos the past week or so. Yesterday I picked up a pen and some paper for the first time in years and drew. Thanks for sharing your art, and yourself, very glad I discovered your channel.
I love sleeping in a cold room with heavy blankets. I think it’s similar to how a baby likes to be swaddled, or how you’re finding it comfy to be in a tight spot, or how cats like small boxes. There’s some sort of security in it.
peter that space in between your bed and the wall is called the beds womb, not really but i do the same thing. That is sleeping between the wall and my bed. I have like a whole nest of blankets around me its really one of the best feelings in the world.
So good to see you too! You're one of my favourite persons i got to know through the internet. You are a person where i feel safe. I totally appreciate your videos, thank you.🤗❤❤
Hi Peter! I watch you all the time and watch all your new videos. Your drawing skills are top notch! Thanks for sharing! I tried your sog dog recipe the other day. The were soggy!
Peter , I totally get the floor thing! Sometimes every once in a great while my back starts seizing up, I sleep on the floor a few nights and it just decompresses my back so well, and also brings up memories of my childhood and cool imaginings. If you can try to get a sheet or light weight blanket to pop over the bed like a tent, it'll really work more wonders. It's like an imagination station that will reboot your mind and spirit. I thought I was alone in this, Thankyou for sharing and making me feel not so strange after all. 👍😊
I understand the sleeping between your bed and the wall thing - kind of on the same level as blanket forts and tree houses. It’s your own cozy little space that makes you feel just a little less small and vulnerable in a very big world. Unless someone is claustrophobic. Can’t imagine they feel the same way.
I don't really know what is it about this video, but I find it very relaxing and enjoyable, I couldn't stop smiling while watching it. Great content as always Peter!
your story about sleeping low and feeling comfy reminded me of my childhood. I used to play hide and seek and fall asleep where I was. there was a linnen closet that we kept all of our extra blankets and comforters in the bottom of the closet. I would curl up in the middle of it and fall asleep. I also used to fall asleep on long road trips on the floor board of the car when we drove to Florida. LOL the things you ponder. Makes me smile. Keep on keeping on. Thanks for making me smile today. I hope you are well during the world crisis. keep spreading the smiles :)
I sense that you wrestle with the idea of wanting to open mail, but also wanting to make videos that are interesting to everyone and I thought this episode really worked for me. I wanted to let you know. We had the drawing/rambling at the end which everyone loves and at the beginning the mail was genuinely interesting. I ordered all of that artist's work -- hopefully it comes haha as there were limited copies. One idea for integrating the mail in with your normal thing would be to make a drawing inspired by all of the mail you opened, but I know you like to let your mind wander so this wouldn't be your thing at all. Anyway, I thought I'd throw the idea out there. If you intended to do such a thing and quickly jumped ship that would be hilarious as well -- very peter-versey :).
I like looking up at the stars at night and imagining I’m hurtling through space, then I realise we are hurtling through space and it wouldn’t look too much different if I wasn’t in the atmosphere of a planet.

Hey Peter :) About the letter with the circles of disappearing words: there is a particular ink which disappears with heat, so the heat from the hot wax must have made it disappear. It's used in the Pilot Frixion pens for example (sadly there isn't an equivalent for fountain pens).
Interesting, i get the same flashback thing when i am practicing music or drawing, sometimes i look to a drawing that i did before and i get flashback to what i was listening while i was drawing.
19:18 I haven't, but after hearing your description I kind of want to. It reminds me of the forts I used to make as a kid, with a blanket draped over the dining room chairs and the sofa... I think it appealed to me in much the same way. hmm... maybe there is some psychological explanation for that.
I’ve bin sleeping on the floor (area rug, yoga mats and sheepskin) sometimes too. The change is good. The solid ground rising up and holding you kinda thing. Your body might find it easer to let go, and “give up”, to sleep.
I also experience that flashback thing. I can look at a piece of art i did years ago and i know i watched Nuts starring Barbra Streisand and Richard Dreyfus when I painted it... it's pretty cool, I think.
I get the same thing of remembering stuff I watched or heard whilst drawing and then looking back at the drawing. I didn’t realise it might be a strange thing 😂 it reminds me of hearing about thrown pots recording sounds/vibrations whilst they were being made (this may or may not be true, but there are some interesting studies into sounds and historical sites regardless) Thanks for your great content as always!

I do too . For a few years now. Slept in a bed for two weeks recently and I aches like mad . I went to the floor in the middle of the night when I realized I was so sore and uncomfortable because I’m used to the floor . I then slept like a log . I love it

Well, I usually sleep on the floor, got rid of my old bed to have more space far that. Getting used to it was tough for the first 3 nights but I do it for more than two years by now and no 'comfy' mattress could ever coax me into getting a bed again. Another great video, Peter! You have been a constant stream of inspiration, joy and laughter over the years I've been watching. Have you ever thought of making a discord server?
I used to sleep on the floor a lot when I was small.. Now you are talking about it I think I should try it out again I remember it being really comfortable :)
Peter, it sounds like she used FriXion ink. Put it in the freezer for a bit and the blank circles should come back! FriXion ink is 'erasable' with friction/heat.

Glad you liked the tarot cards!
Thanks for making and sending them!
Glad you like Hoodlings Peter! A thinner string with the addition of an underneath knot should ensure the Hoodlings security!
Yeah I think that hoodie I tried it with has abnormally thick strings
The way you’re sleeping is called “ nesting”. It happens when we need comfort. A lot of people use body pillows for that.
that's a good comparison! I sleep with large pillows on each side of my body so I'm in a trough. Even better if a cat is against my chest purring away
You've got mail!
