    Thank you Miranda! I too just found your channel. I'm 80 and now working very hard to more than do what my mother's and her 3s sisters did. They all stopped walking in their early 80's and I'm determined that is not going to happen to me! I'm so glad I found you! Thank you!!!

    Life changing! As a sign language interpreter of over 22 years and mostly sitting during Covid working from home (interpreting on my computer from my home office) I ended up having such severe pain in my neck and shoulders, nothing was helping. I even went to a massage therapist almost weekly, sometimes twice a week for 3 years. I thought I was going to have to find a new career. I was having about an 8-9 pain level in my neck and shoulders almost daily on the days I worked. It was affecting my quality of life. I was already stretching and I had completely stopped my work outs using using weights/aerobics because everything I did hurt. I found your video and decided to do this one every day for a month, before pursuing a chiropractor or looking into another line of work... Seriously, that's how horrible the pain was. After the 1st time doing this video, I could feel a noticeable difference. I kept going and did this daily for the full month of December, I was so determined to be pain free, or at least find "some" relief. I have found full relief, and I still do this 2-3x per week, sometimes more, sometimes less, and I do not have any pain anymore. Thank you Miranda (and Sahra) for your videos.

    Miranda you are God sent. I ordered your Season 10 DVDs about 5 years ago and your episode for back pain relief is a miracle! Now I am having terrible neck pain so naturally I went looking for you. Thank you for posting this beautiful, relaxing workout for shoulders and neck. My chiropractor says that without working on the shoulders, you normally cannot relieve neck pain, so I am so grateful to find this. May you have many blessing paid forward for all the good you are doing for others. Love You!

    THANK YOU MIRANDA! I have such tight muscles in my neck, and have had for years, but this routine is helping. I often catch myself with my shoulders scrunched up towards my ears, but having done this routine several times I am instead catching myself with relaxed shoulders! That is absolutely foreign to me after so many years of storing stress in my neck muscles. Please post more for the neck muscles.

    Finally a workout that I don’t dread, but look forward to doing! I never, ever liked jumping or running or most sports, and certainly wouldn’t sign up for anything like a boot camp that involved someone yelling at me to push harder. I am 60+ and LOVING these sensible workouts.

    I woke up too early and turned on tv for sound, just happened to find this workout and became intrigued. Looked it up online and foudn this particular workout and tried it as I've had shoulder discomfort for a number of months. I cannot believe how very good these areas feel now. Thank you SO very much. And, as I'm growing in life, I find the truism that you said that I don't have to force it to be strong so true. Love this.

    I have done this 3-4 times and the results are phenomenal. I went from constant pain in the shoulder with tingling in my right palm and fingers to 4-5 hours without feeling any symptoms. When I get the symptoms, I can do a few moves no matter where I am. The flow and movement really make it easy to do. Previously, I was doing routine exercises, but anyone who does Yoga will love this flow and breathing. You will notice how “loose” your shoulders feel immediately after the 14 minutes. This teacher has done an incredible service to humanity by making this a free video.

    I was having significant amount of upper back/neck pain due to chronic poor posture as a result of a lot of time in front of the computer. I've tried physical therapy and it didn't help. I'm so glad I discovered these exercises. They have helped relieve my pain significantly in just a few days, and I do them everyday to help keep the pain away. I love the gentle, slow and relaxing pace of these exercises. She shares some great tips that I can relate to also: now that I have more mobility / less stiffness in my shoulders/upper back, there is less pain!

    can anyone give me a quick explanation of what she means by "tucking in the tailbone???"

    • @ClassicalStretchbyEssentrics
      @ClassicalStretchbyEssentrics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely! "Tucking the tailbone under" means rounding the lower back, or doing a pelvic tilt. Imagine that you have a monkey tail, you will bring it forward as you round your lumbar spine. This is also called the Neutral C position, because you are rounding your back as if you were drawing the letter "C" with your body. This helps stretch the muscles of the lower back. Even though you are rounding the back, you are still trying to pull out, finding space between each vertebra, making sure that the abs are engaged. Hope this helps! 🤗
