    Front of it reminds me of the little Mini hatch. Bit of a weird mesh of Mini & BMW, and Suzuki. Mostly the grill is at fault.
    Also you'll be happy to know when you search for the 2024 Swift you're the first result on Google LOL

      Definitely it has the cutesy look about it. If Suzuki ditch the grille I will remake the video 🤣
      No way! Very pleased about that haha

    It looks fine, nice enough, I mean i think honestly the 2011-17 model of swift was by far the best on the outside. But i do like the new interior a lot, bar the infotainment screen being a tad bit too large. I actually like the look of the EV suv its definitely the best looking SUV ive seen to be honest 🤔, I heard rumours there was plans for a swift cross in 2024 apparently

      @wallsworkshop  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Agreed on the 32 looking best exterior wise. Besides the screen it looks great now, you're right on that its far better than stuff like the Kia EV 6 etc. That would be interesting to see maybe a Yaris Cross rebadge?

    • @novicetheaf
      @novicetheaf 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@wallsworkshopI think it will be linked to a Yaris cross potentially on the frame, it's a partnership between Toyota and Suzuki, but this is still yet to be confirmed for definite

      @wallsworkshop  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@novicetheaf Toyota and Suzuki as a partnership is a good idea but they could've just given us a Yaris X Swift mashup lol, imagine that GR engine in a swift

    • @novicetheaf
      @novicetheaf 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@wallsworkshop That's actually a brilliant idea, I do like the booster jet engine that Suzuki has but it's no match for what Toyota are using for the GR Yaris

    For me, that grill seems to be inspired by Ford's design language, which took that style of grill design from Aston Martin in the first place. In terms of engine for the Sport, I think they are going to reuse the K14D with a bit more boost pressure and maybe some small changes. At least I hope so. Please no full electric SSS, Suzuki.

    • @wallsworkshop
      @wallsworkshop  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It definitely has a vague look of the Aston/Ford curvy grilles, it seems too generic. That's not a bad thing tbf at least they're thinking of keeping the K14D and not downsizing to something like a 1.2 or god forbid a 1.0 TSI style engine. Will be very disappointed if it's an EV :(

    I think its looks awful haha. However, I,d be interested to see what the sport model would be like and what engine/power it would have compared to the ZC33S.

      @wallsworkshop  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Haha it’s not so popular is it. I saw a render of the sport but I left it out as I’m not 100% if it’s real, I hope the sport will look better, I’m hoping to see it have more power than the ZC33S

    Valid comments all. I liked the old Swift more, both outside and in. One thing you haven't mentioned is that the alfa-like tunnel dials are gone. Unless Suzuki adds some awesome tech in the new Swift, I'm going with the old one. I also love the spacia. I think having something like a Kei class in europe (and GB) would be a very good idea.

    • @wallsworkshop
      @wallsworkshop  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you. Yes I did notice that, my bad for not mentioning it I thought the tunnel clocks looked great too. I'll definitely be sticking with my 32 lol. The Spacia is cool, completely agree Kei class cars would go down a treat in the UK and Europe.

    I cant say I like it much so far. 33s already look like Minis in some ways, but even so they are still at least actually quite pleasant to look at. This definitely looks like a Mini a lot more, the front has taken a lot back from the aggressiveness, almost back to the 31s "cute" look. Although I get that it's not a Sport version yet, those cute looking headlights will still be the same. The whole thing is more boxy and futuristic, like many new cars nowadays. Now, I don't want to look anti-everything new, I try to understand that designers can't please everyone, but when it looks like almost every other new car, I can't help it. Plus i bet in EU they will keep the hybrid version going on, so I guess not for me as well.

    • @wallsworkshop
      @wallsworkshop  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A lot of people feel the same way, 33S still has some aggressive lines to it unlike this and yeah it definitely has a more cutesy look about it. squint and you'd think it was a mini lol. I'm hoping for a full on facelift for the sport version to bring it back some but I wont hold any hopes out for that just yet. I feel like I sound anti-new sometimes saying this stuff but its true, love some new cars but quite a lot aren't it for me, especially like you say with the copy and past nature of manufacturers today. 100% it'll be hybrid just like the newer 33S models, which I'm willing to accept if they hold off a full EV variant

    • @billywalker681
      @billywalker681 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@wallsworkshop If EV or hybrid, then hybrid it is. Bet turbos are pretty cool as well, but since most cars are turbocharged in this age I think I'll still have plenty of chances to eventually give them a shot. But right now I'm enjoying the high-revving naturally aspirated character of 32.

    • @wallsworkshop
      @wallsworkshop  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@billywalker681 For sure and plus they're only coming down in value too, I would like to try a newer car but once they've gained a bit of age if that makes sense. Likewise mate and I'll be enjoying the 32 goodness for a long time to come

    The only thing I really dislike is that infotainment system, looks so poorly designed. those huge piano black sides have to go.

    I think at a time where other cars in this genre are becoming uglier and losing their individual charm, this doesn't look as bad as it could have been. I do like the fully black roof and pillars but that's about it. The S logo being above the grille looks fucking awful especially after so many years with it being in the centre. With the updated lights, the whole front is less aggressive than the current gen and makes it look like it's gurning, completely losing that angry puppy vibe that they got so right. Rear lights seem to be smaller too, makes the whole car seem chunkier and less agile especially in such a bold colour.

    • @wallsworkshop
      @wallsworkshop  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is a very good point. It's definitely the best of the modern bunch. I never even noticed that properly till you pointed it out haha, what's that badge about 🤣 Yep it's just been thrown away that angrier design it looks like a cute show puppy now lol. Rear lights look tiny don't they, especially compared to a 32, I'm really hoping that it doesn't feel as chunky as it looks or it's gonna handle like a K11 micra lol. Thanks for your comment mate 👍

    The new Swift concept looks too, CCP MG to me (how the hell we, the UK, allowed that brand to be bought by the CCP? It's a disgrace). Diamond cut alloys are a chore to own, black or silver alloys are preferred. Another good point you make, is price, Suzukis have shot up in price, compared to the first three Swift models, in the past few years.
    Looks like Suzuki have lost the plot across many models this time around! And EVs? Nightmare based on unproven scientific data. Lithium has dirty supply chains, still catch fire and blow up, nowhere to recycle them and once dead, the car is a write off, plus big business is now licenced to plough sea beds for the Lithium, how is that enviro friendly?!😲😳🤕💔🤬
    I agree, I loath big infotainment screens, distracting to say the least.
    Also what is it with manufacturers and Austin Allegro type steering wheels? It's not an F1 car, so three point turns are horrible with squared off wheels, worse on some the French brands, flat on several sides - yuk!
    I like Kei cars, I so nearly bought one, the - Sprite (I had a highly tuned one of those)/Midget sized - Cappuccinos, or Honda Beat, or Diahatsu Copen, back in the day, as I'd owned a MK1 MR2 T-Bar.
    The Swift is a classic and I do not think that the MK3 (MK2 Sport) can be beat, it looks the best and sounds the best across the range, literally the thinking man's mini, such similar ethos to that of Issigonis👍✌️💜😊

      No Problem 😎 I hate to admit it but I can see it in the new swift! I know right, it's madness. Diamond cuts also add to purchase price its not ideal for a budget car, new now they're over 20 odd thousand.
      Following suit with most other manufacturers I see! It's all facts about EV production but none of the true stuff is ever covered in the news 🙄 it'll never be more 'eco friendly'
      I don't mind the flat bottom steering wheel personally, I just know that the 33S steering wheel feels very weak/thin and this appears to be the exact same. I'd rather have an Allegro or some old BL tat than most new stuff 🤣
      Very nice, I'd like to own something Kei one time ideally a cappuccino, hopefully this new one comes through, ideally to the UK market it would be nice to see. Been in a Daihatsu Copen ages ago and they're great inside, I barely fit in lol.
      Nearly everyone has said the same and my biased opinion also agrees haha, the best all rounder of the modern range of swifts, thanks for the comment :)

      Over £20k? Wow, mine was £10k and went back up to that price during lockdowns etc. Madness on all fronts. I suppose most cars are purchased via loans these days otherwise Suzuki have out priced themselves and left their loyal customers behind 🤔
      I like old BL stuff, I've had AH Sprites, MGB GTs, including V8s. My brother had a Morris Marina 1.8 GT, I loved that car! We've both owned kit cars too, did some road rallies and a bit of hill climbing. A friend restored an Austin Allegro ✌️😊💜

      @@musoseven8218 yep pretty sure if you want all the bells and whistles on a 73 plate.. definitely if it wasn't for all this finance going on they'd have out priced themselves ages ago.
      That's mint! Glad too see you've had a fair share of BL goodness haha. Lot of hate round the Marina and Allegro but I like them too 😂😂 It's not BL but i would absolutely adore to own a TVR sometime in the future, ultimate dream and what a TH-cam series that would be!
