whats funny is i used to live in ashland for many years and at timestamp 1:45:43 my bus used to drive through that crossroads since my house was just to the right and i used this long straight on the tracks or road to walk to work. good memories and bad of the cold winter days and the hot summer days walking through town
I’ll do my best to do that. I tried to do the full video but as our train approaches the Amtrak conductor catches my phone on the rear window and yells at me.
Awesome video! I'll have to look up where that new Amtrak station location, that news got by me somehow. Teh again I'm in VB and mostly stick to my side of the water these days lol
Great video! I’ve never seen the back of you filming the train in the rear end! Looks cool

It seems to me that there are small towns that this train could stop at without adversely affecting the schedule?
Do another one from Newport News to DC rear do it this year

too bad the conductor are not keen on doing the full video, if you can, you should do it from Newport News to DC
Agreed
Do you have to ride in Business Class to get the rear view on the NE Regional?
Yes I did.
Great footage! They really allowed you to do that??
They didn’t. After we passed Ashland the conductor kicked me out for the business class car.
Do a rear view from DC to Norfolk
You do it! lol
