    I think they waited to see if she would be convicted first, and once she was convicted, they then would bring the allegations out of the juror in order to try to get a new trial... pure manipulation!!

      Eva testified to the bullet hole in the ceiling and the fist size holes in the walls.
      Doug's own cousin showed support for Ashley.
      The cornor and the Pathologists both testified for the defense.
      And the lead detective lie multiple times on the case.
      Doug violated the restraining multiple times.
      And even the neighbor saids that Doug was on her property!

    At this point they’re grasping at straws. Why are they not vetting the jurors before the trial? Ashley 100% murdered her husband. She just wanted a child, NOT a husband.

      If there was misconduct then proper actions should take place. But she is convicted and still should be sentenced. Many convicted felons request a new trial. But they were still sentenced.

    The Juror lied about being the victim of a crime, and being involved in DV courts and finally about being in a dispute with a significant other about custody of a minor child. Basically it means she acted in prejudice being on a jury for a trial that involved all 3 of those elements.

      @@tyreseforren6721 Evidence the judge didn't allow in has nothing to do with the defense motion against the state and jurors. Also, the court didn't allow evidence from family court where the judge in those proceedings said there wasn't and " iota of evidence." To Ashley claims.

      Regardless of all that, Ashley "conveniently" "fled" to the bedroom where there just so happened to be a loaded gun, easily accessible in a bag in an empty room. If she was so frightened of him, as she claimed, then why would she allow herself to be alone with him while her mother "conveniently" took her daughter to the park at the same time Doug was coming to the house?

    STOP putting jurors on trial or jurors will learn to find excuses to NOT serve on trials. Its the LAWYERS who have started to place legal knowledge unto jurors. It is the LAWYERS who have placed more and more "obligations" on jurors. Dont blame juries for verdicts you dont like! The SOLE purpose of a jury is to listen to the evidence NOT disclose their personal life no matter what the lawyers think they "should" disclose!     She definitely should get a new trial. This will be reversed. What is wrong with jurors? It's so incredibly frustrating for everyone. They should implement a huge fine on jurors that lie. Retrials are costly. They should help pay for it, especially if they caused it.
