    Great job on the video. Thanks. I'm so glad that someone took the time to clean the vehicle out beforehand.
    Slow charging when the battery is at 80% helps to extend the life of the battery. That is what is so great about Ford and the Mustang Mach E. It's not a Ford problem. That is the way that it is designed. 95% of people charge at home overnight when electricity rates are at their lowest.
    Check the auto trader to see how many people sell their Tesla after 5 years because they know that the battery range in the Tesla dies much faster since the battery is not charged the way that a battery is suppose to be charged.
    The reason why there is a physical volume button is because you don't need to take your eyes off the road to lower the volume. But if it was a touch volume button on the screen ... you would need to.
    If I decided to paint my car a different color, would the mustang picture on the screen change to the color that I painted the car? That is why it is a standard color. It shouldn't be something that people gripe about. If people are looking for something big to complain about, they should complain to McDonalds why their fries are not all the same size. Now that is important.
    I understand that the Mustang Mach E is known as the Tesla Killer. How many moths to you think it will take for Ford to bring Tesla down to their knees?

    Test drove a Mach e select model 4 months ago and decided to go with a model 3 SR. I just sold my Model 3 SR and waiting for delivery of a model 3 LR. Seriously considering the Mach e once some of the bugs have been worked out with Over the Air updates. Have heard there is lots of problems with dealers just not used to working on them and the access by phone feature. Thank you for your review.

    so silly that “mustang purists” are upset about sharing the name with the mach-e... the truth is that with its spirit of freedom, style and eye to the future, the mach-e has much more in common with the original mustangs than the modern, burly and unwieldy mustang muscle cars...
    and about that drop at 80% charge... ford did that on purpose... and they built in a large buffer, too... they’re really serious about protecting battery life... not sure if i agree with being forced to be responsible, but if enough of us complain, maybe they’ll change that up with an OTA update...
    great video!

    I have one on order, and have watched at least 40 videos, and your video was one of my favorites! About color coding the car, as a programmer and designer, this drives me crazy on my 2018 Tuscany F150 and my current mustang. This is the more noticeable when backing up with the bird's eye view. It is not like Ford has more than 8 color choices and it be so simple to program a color selection in at installation. Such a dumb thing to be hung up on, but such a small tweak to personalize your experience! Sad to see that it has not been updated for 2021.

  • @chrisb508
    @chrisb508 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Awesome video. The Mach-E seems to be a good alternative for those who don't really like the Tesla Model Y and Model 3 not having the speedometer right in front of them. I have a friend who goes on and on about that whenever I bring up Tesla.

    • @DavidJao
      @DavidJao 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Look at your eyes. Chances are, they're wider than they are tall. That means your eyes can sweep from side to side much more efficiently than they can sweep up and down. Putting the speedometer to one side makes it easier, not harder, to keep an eye on both the speedometer and the road, compared to putting the speedometer below the windshield. Tesla got it right. A HUD would be better yet.

    • @willaerley7140
      @willaerley7140 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, I totally prefer the Model Y speedometer. When you look down, your eyes will naturally focus on the steering wheel and then you have to refocus on the display.

    • @chrisb508
      @chrisb508 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@willaerley7140 Honestly, so do I. My friend is pretty closed minded. The Mach-E is more ordinary and I think he'd like that better.

    • @e.foundyou
      @e.foundyou 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You guys are thinking about this too much, looking down at the speedometer right in front of you is not hard. You can’t tell me you had to wait for your eyes to adjust to a speed cluster about 2 feet away from your face. Was your speedometer microscopic?

    • @DavidJao
      @DavidJao 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@e.foundyou Looking aside to the speedometer is also not hard. I agree that the speedometer placement is a complete non-issue.

  • @AMan-he9sz

    I see you enjoyed your time with the superior Ford Mach E. I never wanted a Tesla, but after driving the Ford, I understand how much better it is compared to Tesla. One thing to note - the front grill shutters don't open simply because the car is powered on. They open as needed, for battery and/or to cool the radiator that sits directly behind the front facia. There is little doubt that Ford will soon crush Tesla in the EV market, as they truly know how to build cars and Tesla is still building panel gap, rattle trap excuses for cars STILL even though they started 18 years ago.

  • @KJSvitko

    Electric vehicles are just better. No noise, no emissions, less fuel costs, less maintenance costs.
    Gasoline and diesel are OLD polluting technology. So last century.
    Electric cars, electric trucks, electric buses, electric trash haulers, electric snow blowers, electric lawn mowers, electric snow mobiles, electric water craft, electric garden tools, electric mechanic tools, electric motor cycles, electric bicycles, electric scooters, electric farm tractors, electric construction equipment, electric delivery vehicles, ...... everything is going electric. No worries about starting after sitting for a few months. Gas always needs repairs.

  • @CasperChicago
    @CasperChicago ปีที่แล้ว +1

    That does not look like a Mustang. That is not a Mustang. I’m not the only person asking these questions. GM and Ford have turned everything into an SUV or truck; that is a real problem, because SUVs have the same problem that trucks have,…they are large and very heavy. That requires a larger battery; thus a more expensive car. I think that GM and Ford are doomed!

  • @ismaelcarrillo3956

    • @AMan-he9sz

    Ford is the No. 1 company with the lowest resale value. Tesla's have the highest. No comparison.

    • @AMan-he9sz
      @AMan-he9sz 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tesla was the only game in town previously. Those days are over. Their market share is already dropping. Any car maker serious about making EVs will crush Tesla now. 18 years making cars, and they're still producing panel gap, rattle trap pieces of garbage.

  • @NegroRotary
