After watching this I realize I have dealt with first daughter syndrome my whole life. Even though I am the only child, I am always being held responsible for everything and when I don’t do something perfectly, it always seem like I am irresponsible.
Starting to get used to living my own life and not bothering whether or not I do things perfectly.

OMG DIMMA !!! I have the exact same story. My little sister broke her arm at the playground and I was supposed to be taking care of her. My dad has also never hit me but I went to hide in the wardrobe in the guest room because I was scared shitless. I could relate so much I wanted to cry because that's such a core childhood memory for me. This video is amazing thank youuu

That conversation ,they had about first children i felt the pain returning of denying me things because i was the first child ,i mean i had to understand, to know better to always be an adult.... lately its my faith that has helped to forget ,and it hurts when both your parents are last borns they don't understand they just transfer their expectations from their own firstborns from their families to you.... i promised i will do better for my own first child

It really wasn't always childrening enough for first daughters. I remember telling my friends I never saw Lion King as a child, all my siblings did and she asked me what i was doing with my childhood. It's just a lot of responsibility for the first daughter. I have an older brother but anytime my mom was leaving the house, she'd ask me to look after my siblings. It was the moment I wanted to play my mom calls me to attend to one chore or the other.
Omo! I missed out on childhood a lot. Being born as a first daughter is an automatic responsibility
