It's been hours after watching this video and it has stayed with me, Infiltrated my thoughts and convictions. Coming home from work yesterday I had a God moment. Not one of those God moments where you feel blessed and loved, but where like the three Hebrew boys my soul cried to God that even if you slay me I would still trust You. Yes there are things in my life to be grateful for, but last night was one of those moments that I felt worse than a failure. And this is not from a "holy" girl, but from one who has fallen short so many times and it feels like there is no need to strive for holiness any longer. His response? I am here and you are getting to where I need you to be. Something in both your words brought some renewed hope in me. Thank you. God is where He is, He hasn't changed or moved, I've moved and many times. After all has been said and done, only God's way makes sense in this dark world. And yes the pressures abound, I climbed the 39th rung of the life ladder this year and I can tell you for free it is not easy. Especially when all your siblings are married and you're the last man standing. Dubbed to be the "wife material" of the family but which kind "wife material" when my younger brother of two years is hitting 10 years in marriage with three wonderful children?And like a Sarah, it's tempting to bring the slave girl to Abraham. But your words have helped reinforce the truth.There have been several devilish suggestions to get pregnant, "just have a child, you know you are not getting younger". But that's no holiness, that's not the God way. Please never stop speaking, there's healing in your words because they are truth.
PS: this is one of my first comments on a TH-cam video ever. I'm one of the "comment in your head club members". And again, it's a double confirmation that this is a God thing. I have used one eye to observe some of DimDim's videos, but see how God used her platform to bring me reinforceed hope.

Mazino is a rare example of a non-conformist disciple who is living solely for an audience of one.
Seriously, it's insane how intentional she is about being like Jesus. I literally see Jesus in Maz, it's insane.
And yet, so so so humbling. So humbling.

The question someone asked about being light in friendships when you’re the only one saved and you’re still meant to be in the relationship, I bet you I would’ve said “once you’re saved, leave unequally yoked relationships, please leave that friend she’ll pull you back” but how Maz spoke on it and said if God is asking her to stay then she should pray for Grace and that light illuminates wherever. For real, so many times we focus on being contaminated by darkness that we forget we actually can contaminate with our LIGHT! Word! 🙌🏽
Jireh saved me too in 2021. I used to feel like I was no one's priority so my presence made no difference here. Then, the lines "I'm already loved, I'm already chosen, I know who I am and I know what You've spoken, I'm already loved, more than I can imagine & that is enough" became my mantra.
Brought me out of a really dark place and became my rebuttal for the mean voices in my head ❤❤❤

Heavy on the music!🤣🤣 I also used to ask myself what is wrong with secular music. One time I felt led to cut off secular music for a week; after the week was over I tried going back to my usual jams. I now noticed that I had to pause my secular music if for whatever reason I felt like saying something to God. If I was listening to clean music I wouldn't have had to pause it na. From that day I have been careful of what I listen to😅

Watched this video 1.20am, it was so therapeutic. I have been & still struggling with unbelief, for someone that was very active in church & stopped going to church completely.

No, God hasn't left or forgotten you. He is right there with you always and understands everything that you're feeling. And He is working it all out for your good. He's never going to leave or forsake you. He loves you unconditionally.
The part where Maz talked about withholding generosity in times of lack resonated with me. A lot. I’ve noticed recently how I act in times of lack as regards giving to others. My time, energy, attention and money.
I believe God is helping me.

Same here, we tend to be a bit more selfish in periods of lack, thinking it's self preservative. It's actually destructive, while I don't give everything I have during that time, of course wisdom is key. However, I find that the times I've given during my lack has been the most impactful. Like the bible says there's more happiness in giving than receiving.
Same here. I even get upset at the sense of entitlement from people but I will definitely do better onwards

What are the odds that I literally just randomly came across your podcast Maz yesterday while looking for a podcast of an author who I read their work somewhere and your podcast was among the top most listened to podcast on apple podcast and For a sec my brain was like how come I’ve never heard of it before and I thought to myself that I was going to come back and check you out later.
Only for me to see this sit down video , jumped on it and listening to find Dinma name the podcast and the picture of your podcast just flashed before me.

I wish I can love this a million times. I’m very Catholic and my friends are NOT catholic. We love God and worship God in our own way. That’s what matters. To the question of how these ladies reconcile their friendship while having different 'faith' backgrounds - IMO, they have the exact same faith background, however, they worship in different liturgical disciplines. There is a difference between faith and liturgy. And like they said, we get hung up on the wrong things.
