I thoroughly enjoyed this video, Maybe because we are around the same age. All through my 20s I never made finding a husband my prayer point, the major thing in my head was getting a good job(which I eventually did when when I turned 30) infact that was the only thing I prayed and fasted about 😅. I’m living in my answered prayers.I’m 2yrs on the job now and it still feels so surreal😍. At some point after getting this job, family members wanted to rob me off my joy by reminding me I wasn’t married at 31/32, I almost fell for it but they failed. I go on dates, talk to men but nobody can put me under any pressure abeg, the right man will come when it’s time. I forgot to mention, I’m living in my dream apartment, going on my first vacation this year. The kind of people(men and women) I meet now motivate me not to be mediocre. Even my colleagues… let me stop this epistle here 😂it’s already looking like “Testimony time”
Contents from Dimma are like therapy and online sister giving you advice. Obviously a must watch for me when I get home, I will watch this with a snack
Honestly! We should have a first daughter or first children conference, because Omo! There’s so much to be talked about. For me, I started being sò responsible at a really young age and rn I’m just at the point where I’m like, I want to be babied, like I want to feel taken care of. It’s so crazy 😩
Love this and is still watching. I just want to note, men have a biological clock too. The older they get, the more their sperm replicate, the more errors are in the DNA. This result in a higher chance of the child having disabilities and other issues. So for both genders, the older we all get, the more complicated it is for us to have a healthy children.
@@taii_chii6782 women are starting families over 40 at a very high rate. Is it the best or ideal? No. Same for men. His sperm is healthier when younger, so it is also not ideal for him to start a family at 40. I am a Biologist speaking; who worked in reproductive health for years.
@@JustUchey I try my best to state it when I hear messages like this. Early on in my career I was taught this and it was an eye opener. I hardly ever hear it being mentioned. And in most cases we can see the evidence. So I try to educate when I can.
I took my time to listen to this from A-Z. The reason why I subscribed to this channel and stayed back till date is your mentality Dinma. You literally speak my mind about so many issues.
Not me and my partner pausing the video at intervals to agree and chip in our two cents like Dinma and Jola can see or hear us😂Well, it's 1am here and I can tell you we haven't been able to finish the video. Well done Queen Dims, May God bless you, keep you and let His light shine upon you always.
Montessori is a style of teaching which encourages 'following the child' method. It is not the traditional classroom setting. It incorporates daily life into teaching from toddler age. So instead of being too focused on academic activities, it focuses on teaching skills instead for toddlers up to age 6. So activities like washing dishes, peeling an egg, cleaning up, climbing a staircase, care of self and the environment e.t.c are the primary focus at that age to build confidence and focus while building fine motor and sensory skills as well as laying the foundation for mathematics and language by exploration. the curriculum is focused on each child and not the class. In some cases, children of different age groups are put together for instance 0-3 in same class, 3-6 in same class and the concept is to build leadership and social skills such that the older kids are able to help the younger kids in learning and direction so your kids change classes only 4 times in their primary years. The classrooms are set in a manner of progression. And teaching is based on how well they are able to complete a set of tasks/activities based on the child's learning pace before they can move to the next progression. teaching is group based and one on one. The aim is to build mastery in those activities and self sufficiency. Proper Montessori is actually one the best methods of educating a child from age 1 to 6. My kids attended Discovery House in Lagos and it was one of the best decisions If you are looking for where your child can come first and read times table before they are 3, this is not for you o. lol
When I watch Dimma's Q and As, I always have a pen and book with me. The wisdom these women dish out is immaculate. I figured out a lot about myself from this channel; my body type, scent, makeup, skincare. Please, don't stop having these honest, raw and important discussions. Thank you Dimma and Jola!
This was such a lovely video, I enjoyed every bit of it. The importance of curating the right circle and friendship group, can't be overemphasized. I also made a friend from listening to ISWIS❤ Thank you so much for making my night😊
Love Jola & Dinma friendship so much I wish I have such friend or set of friends this way . But I have no friends around me . More like a loner now. Especially moving to a new area so far from home. Thank you so much for this Jola & Dinma ❤❤❤❤
I feel like saving this video till I’m in a good place to really get into it! I’m so excited🎉💃🏾 Your QnAs are elite!!! and this one features Jollz (screaming internalllyyyy)😂😂❤
About finding your style, Jola spoke my mindddd. I am into bubu because my body has changed, I can't be wearing clothes and be looking like Shrek.😂. I so love bubu gowns now. I just love comfort for the life of me. I also followed Dimma because she had close to my body type. It's really important to dress according to your body type.
I am so glad the children conversation came up because this question of children eh. I don hear am tire. People should just allow people live their lives abeg😂
Dimma: I dont think the non-traditional men in this Lagos are more than 2 Jola: ...maybe 3 and a half.. Dimma: Let's give them 5 😅😅😅😅 Totally loved this conversation!! 100% real and relatable!!
The moment we entered 2024 everyone started wishing me marital break through, I’m like what’s wrong with all of you, I get it I’m already in my early 30’s but I still want something else before a marriage nah only me understands Ike gwuru 😂
Huge advocate of horizontal networking! Networking is just forming relationships; never force it no matter who you’re talking to or what their level is. Just be yourself, let things flow naturally, and put yourself out there! It’ll be fun
I really enjoy this duo's Q and A's. I'm a first daughter and first child as well and these advice somehow feel like they're coming from a big sister perspective. I love you guys❤
Woooooooow was my first thought thank you Dim dim , my friend is jealous of you she says I am obsessed with you. How can I not be , you are making me smile amidst the chaos around me rn ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I enjoyed this soo much ! I listen to ISWIS and love how Jola talks about her friendships whenever she has a chance to ! I've jotted down that hack about dealing with hyperindependence as a first daughter !! very very key 😂
I enjoyed this conversation. It was so insightful and therapeutic. "we can talk" 😂😂😂 "Be intentional with the people you surround yourself with." 👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿 I think the correct word is - Culminate. Jola was such a good guest here. 🤣🤣🤣 Everything Everywhere was so chaotic abeg. Great talking with so many tips and advice especially on friendship and ambition. Thanks, Dimma and Jola. ❤❤❤

I thoroughly enjoyed this video!!! Kai! Maybe because it’s so relatable, maybe because they are my faves, maybe because I’m at that age. The part where Jola talked about dating first born sons being the hack for dealing with hyper independence as the first day….i screamed so much because that is so me!!! It’ll be great if someone takes the burden off me. I too am someone’s child bikozienu, I am a baby oooo. Anyway, always here to support my girls. Love you so much Dimma, thank you for these videos and the conversations that emanate from them. I wish you all the best and I hope you keep crushing it my darling ❤️
Jola thank you so much for that ending part of this lifestyle trap it’s not normal. Like unnecessary pressure we put on ourselves. I love this episode so much Dinma
Honestly, I think firstborns really sees how the whole family burden can be challenging and would want to do the math! It's not easy, you get to watch your siblings grow as well as watch how your parents get to handle certain situations and how difficult sometimes were. I'm a first child and the basic goal in this dispensation is to help ease of the burden from parents, especially when everywhere is not silvering. Love your video Dinma.

This !
Okay i never knew this.
It's always about women every single time.
Thanks for the information
Sort of but not in the same way as women. A man can decide to start having kids biologically at 40 the same can’t be said for women

You ladies look so beautiful. I should have started with that.🥰🥰🥰
30:05 okay, Jola is out😂😂😂😂
OMG I love fantasy novels too and I am just about to read FOURTH WINGGGGG
Throwing friends away because of marital status.... That's really bad
Such a wholesome session. Well done Dimma and Jola ❤❤. Your friendship shone through this video ❤❤
Brilliant vlog ladies 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dimma amd Jola the wisdom you have is too much. Oppor!!! The energy and eveything about this video is lovely.
I love how Dimma realises that there's the category of "people who love you are invested in your life"
I really get confused when youtubers are upset with the investment of their suscribers and respond rudely to questions (you can't even get me there asking shaa😂)
Dimma honours us❤. And it's why she'll continue to flourish
I thoroughly enjoyed this video.
