Wow, I realize how lucky I am that Italy still has low grocery prices... I mean, compared to our salaries it's quite proportionated anyways, but still! Killed it Rose 🔥 Everything looks amazing!
I gasp at the cost of groceries in the eastern area of the US. You would think because of it being the summer growing season produce wpuld be cheaper but it's not plus the crops are looking pretty bad and don't taste as good any more. There are alot of items I won't buy anymore and if others do the same maybe prices will go down.
I’m trying to adapt the vegan lifestyle. It can be expensive though. Thanks for the video!
This was great. Thanks! Love the budgeting and meal prep aspects of it. Groceries are getting SO EXPENSIVE!
Uf and I tough that prices in our country are crazy 😬 thank you for inspiration 💜
The lemons I usually get are either 3 or 4 for a dollar, but they’re the smaller ones. The larger ones do cost more, & I’ve had the same thing happen with both sizes, the thick peeling. Rinds? The outside.
have you ever tried cactus/nopal? it is one of mine,my mom/s and family's fave plant to eat, i highly recommend
This was amazing Tysm for working on this for us
Great job!! It turned out so good 😀
Yup... crazy how expensive it it for a lemon 🍋 😩
I love your budget high protein vegan meal prep - they’re so so helpful especially in this economy:( Thanks so much ❤
All 3 recipes look great--and all comfort food, which I love!
This was VERY helpful!!!!🎁🎁🎁
That pasta looks SOOOO yummy!!!💕💕💕
I like when you shop at Maxi since that is where I shop so there is a very good chance that I can easily find everything for the recipe.
I live in Québec and your grocery prices are much higher than mine... And, why buy hummus? It's so easy to make.
Pasta looked really good. Would love more budget-friendly meals.
This was very helpful and inspirational. We're having to budget now so this helps us stay healthy vegans. Thank you!
Oooo adding Cumin and bay leaves to the boiling part for the spanish rice takes it to another yummy level 😋
This video was super helpful! I LOVE these types of videos because food prices are getting out of control! I would love to see you cook without oil though.
Wow, I realize how lucky I am that Italy still has low grocery prices... I mean, compared to our salaries it's quite proportionated anyways, but still! A can of chickpeas will usually be 0.50-0.60 cents, same for all the other beans, tomato sauce will be 0.90 cents for a liter, a lemon can be found at 0.30 cents per lemon...
Yes ,it's the same in France ,a real struggle!! And when it's organic!!!No comments,it's not affordable for a working class family.
Hi Rose, this looks really good. I can do conversations from Canada to American. I love to meal prep. Dry beans are so cheap but time consuming it’s your time or your money. Thanks for the video.
Why is this like the 3rd time I have watched this video!!! I think your reaction to the extra lemon zest in the pasta makes me more motivated and happy!!!
I get tofu from sunrise in Vancouver 3 for $1 and cheap produce stores better than wal mart wal mart to expensive for food lol i love watching u shop to compare
Love sunrise. Moved from mt pleasant to south Van so it's harder to get to but miss it (though can be rough to go through the area for some people, I'm comfortable there).😊
This was very helpful I work a lot so I don’t have time or feel like cooking every day, thank you 🙏🏾 also Rose is fine
Bangin job!!! Love the roasted pepper hummus as pasta sauce!!!
Would love more of these!!
I love budget meal preps!!
That hummus pasta looks incredible. I'm going to make that this week for sure.
More budget meal prep plz 😊
I love the budget meal prep ideas, my problem is that I am cooking for one and tend to make more than I can eat in a week. Can you do the same type of video but on a smaller portion level that won't go bad before the week is up?
Loving your work. Very inspiring
Hi there, I’m from Australia 👋🏻. I can’t help but wonder why you wouldn’t use one of those cans of chickpeas to make your own hummus which you can put your own spices on. a little bit of the can juice, some olive oil, some salt/ pepper and top off with some dukka or sriracha etc @ $1.50. 😃
Hi Rose, I made this pasta today using ingredients I already had in the house. It was very good 👍
Great ideas Sooo much food ! And delicious thanks
very helpfulll love the budget!
I’m in the Indiana here in the States. Broccoli here is sold by the pound and not by unit.
Great recipes and shopping.
I live in San Francisco and the food prices here are astronomical.
Brilliant especially using hummus as pasta sauce ❤🎉😊
Definitely more!
Loves it! Thanks for this video. I live in northern Canada, so feeling the heat of grocery inflation. Whenever I can find tofu on sale I buy a few extra packs and throw them in my freezer. I had a stockpile I just used up, and was surprised at the rise of tofu. It’s redonk!
One question, was that a specialty Supermarket mainly for Vegans? Would it be po the prices are higher in that store alone? Maybe try a different supermarket.
You video pop up..and subscribed..love your content..trying to eat healthy 😫..it's a struggle to stick to eating healthy and with the prices soo high..but am excited to try your recipes 🥰
Now I'm tempted to go to my store and see how much a lemon costs. lol
I just checked it at the store today. ONE freaking lemon in Germany is (0,89€) 1,30 canadian dollars
LOL
@@Yuzuhira. MY WORD
@@Yuzuhira.That's probably a cheap single non-organic lemon in Germany. But nets of organic or non-organic lemons are cheaper :)
@@cmntr_ It was actually the organic one, the none organic one was 10ct higher xD (No idea why???!) But yea, I know that nets are pretty much cheapier but who needs all the lemons? I need mostly only one and not 4..
