This is my favourite of all the Gershwin's songs. I read somewhere it was the last song they wrote together before George died.
It's such a great tune, and it's all the more poignant knowing it was George's last. Apparently, Ira wrote the lyrics in tribute to his brother. Truly, our love-for the Gershwins-is here to stay!
