So glad to see Colin & Len reflecting on their Quarrymen days with John. I love these lads & as well as Rod Davis - missing for this interview. I was blessed to be a guest bass player during their U.S. Tour in 2008, & will be forever grateful & honored to have had that adventure....& to still call them my friends. God bless you boys. Long live The Quarrymen. Happy Birthday John - the world loves you & misses you big time. Rest in Peace & Love.
How ironic John loved Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis movies...because it was Dean Martin on August 15, 1964 that knocked The Beatles "A Hard Days Night" off the #1 spot on the Billboard singles charts with "Everybody Loves Somebody". Dean, sent a telegram to Elvis Presley, who was John's music idol growing up, that read, "If you can't handle the Beatles, I'll do it for you, pally."
@@maxwellhaddow-mendes2703 Thanks for your reply...apparently you didn't care to read or have music history resonate as fact...YES, it WAS Dean that did get the Beatles...and without intention taking on The Fab Four all by himself and winning ...just makes the talent of one man in Dean Martin even greater...Peace & Love.
Wow, I love Jerry's crazy humor, Elvis loved his crazy humor AND John did too, AWESOME to hear this, BRAND NEW new's, TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S.-While visiting Dean on a set with Dean's family there, Elvis said to Dean's daughters that their Dad was, The King of Cool, THAT'S how humble and classy Elvis is...I say, OF COURSE, Elvis is Numero Uno, and Dean is Numero Deux-o, but, they're ALL awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@elvicare35 Yes that is correct...fact is Dean was Elvis favorite singer...I actually own the original photo proofs of Elvis visiting Dean on the set stage of "All in Nights Work" celebrating Dinos Birthday with Shirley MacLaine at Paramount Studio...Elvis was filming GI Blues at the same time.
And a special hello to you Colin and len looking back with the quarry men and John all the different stages he went through with music style fashion hair facial hair what a birthday celebration it’s been a fab week celebrating Lennon. I’ve Shed tears thanque to all who contributed 🙏

Oh man, drop the political establishment message please, if he had an once of courage he,d drop the London and D.C Establishment Rats, he was always good on shocking that bunch.
John would have loved TRUMP. Peace not War. Anti-Establishment. John liked all types of music and art. Look at Yoko's art and what she thinks is music. He liked it.
Lennon was a peace advocate, not a peace maker... and Trump is the first president in modern memory who did not get us involved in a modern war...just sayin🙄

it's one of the saddest. interview I ever seen with all that plastic screenshield :O :O
Tyranny
I don't se the sad thing you are too bitter
Definitely
They’re old. They can’t risk getting covid.
Love all these videos on Lennon/The Beatles, but could've done without the faux-Coldplay stock music in the background.
I cannot believe I’m seeing this for only yesterday ironically for the first time I wondered what became of THESE guys...

Oh yes. Me too...
They were before my time, but you have wonder how John would be as a senior citizen. Proboly a crabby old man having tea with his old pals.
Dont think john would have liked the music of today 😏😏
Course he would! there's an abundance of new music, he would've been all over that.
He liked Yoko’s...
If he liked Yoko's music, why not?
@@TimBee100, because today's music is crap, pure junk, probably had no choice with Yoko, it was his woman.

With all the peace agreements Trump is making Lennon would be a big supporter
Lennon would have spat on his fat orange face.
@Hugh Jones Lennon hated Fascist r.soles. Liverpool was heavily bombed during WWII and a see you NT like Trump is certainly a Fascist one.
Glad John never wore a face mussel .
Trump is the greatest President in American history.Have some respect
John Lennon would never have wore a mask for sure.
Yeah, those ridiculous plastic things on their faces are really effective. How humiliating.
Stop wearing those stupid shields
Leave them be...their choice..
Tis a pity that both of Lennon's boys are, ahem, confirmed bachelors, and sadly, his bloodline ends with the 'two virgins.'
(see what i did there?)
jAJAJAJAJA
80M people love Trump and John would have approved.
John Lennon would have loved Donald Trump
You tell it Brother, what part of 4 years of peace don't you like

Trump has not caused any wars, I was surprised by the statements of these old rockers,
