Brian May is one of the finest, gracious, talented human beings on the planet. He's a world treasure. Thank you Brian for being you and sharing your talent and example with the world.
I was stewarding at a Bon Jovi concert at Wembley Arena on the New Jersey tour and turned around to see Brian May come walking towards me, heading to his seat! I told him that the reason I ever thought of picking up a guitar was because of him, which is absolutely true. I asked for his autograph but neither of us had a pen. I asked him if I minded waiting while I tried to ask for one. Nigh on 10 minutes later I returned and there he was patiently waiting. I was blown away at his kindness and will never forget that moment.
What a fabulous story Patrick, thanks for taking the time to leave such a positive and detailed comment. I have been overwhelmed by the number of people writing long, heartfelt and sometimes emotional tales of their personal experiences meeting Brian. 🙏🏻💜🥰
Okay some here seem to think it's no big deal he attended this event, that anyone would do it. To me it's pretty big deal that he did this so soon after his stroke. But that's not even the point. I really think he attended this event specially because these fans are clearly very dedicated and not just fans of him as a person or Queen but actually interested in music and enthusiasts of the Red special guitar. Like he said this feels like a real community. He probably would not have attended any event, so the organizers should feel honored imo.
@teijaflink2226 All true. He enjoyed himself. Apparently there was a Queen Fan Club convention on the same day and some members expressed disappointment that Brian chose to attend the 2024 U.K. Red Special Meet-up instead of the QFC convention. I don't think they realised how much effort Jon Underhill put in behind the scenes over many months to persuade Brian to attend or that we have held the event close to Allerton Hill and Pete Malandrone's house in Reading to make it easy for either of them to just 'pop in'.
How cool is it that Brian agreed to take time to do this? He's 3 years shy of turning 80, still recovering from a stroke and has to navigate a schedule that would kill a man 50 years younger than him but he STILL makes time for his fans, I have nothing but love and respect for this man, 50 years of Queen and 60 years of the Red Special and still going strong, long live Queen!!! ❤👑
Wow. You have expressed many people's thoughts and feelings on his kind gesture in a very articulate way. So true and thank you so much for your positive perspective. 🥰💜👍🏻

Having lost my Dad at a young age i was very touched to hear Brian talking about his Dad with pride. A memorable afternoon for everyone i am sure. Good health Brian, long live Queen.

Actually brought tears to my eyes seeing Brian so happy to be there and relaxed and you guys enjoying it and the awards and such talent throuhout from you all - beautiful!
I started playing in 75 aged 10 after watching Queen on Top of the Pops with Bohemian Rhapsody. It was a life-changing moment. Brian changed the course of my life. No question. How lucky you all were to take part in this. And what a tremendously nice guy Brian clearly is.
Hi. Thanks for commenting and sharing your story about how Brian inspired you. I have been quite overwhelmed by the volume of positive messages and people contributing their personal testimony of meeting Brian or being inspired by him. A lifetime of influence through music and generosity of spirit. 💜🥰
I spent ages crafting my version of this iconic guitar, I’m just a gardener not luthier but I managed it using primitive tools , blackening the fingerboard the same as Brian did and same materials ,added a third position marker dots and acquired a hand made knife edge tremolo to his specs , he’s a true performer, person and humble human being, God bless you Brian and your amazing father .Such an inspiration.
“Dr Sir Brian May!” Boy did that warm my heart! I’ve been trying to thin my guitars for years then accidentally, a Red Special came to live here. I love it! Watching you caress and discuss you life’s work tool is a pleasure.
How fantastic is this, I have loved Queen since the age of 19 (now 55 and a half), was lucky enough in seeing Queen live 3 times, the first for my 13th Birthday in May 82. Brian seems genuinely moved by the experience and I am sure made everyone's day
That's so lovely to hear that you enjoyed watching Brian spend a bit of time with some dedicated enthusiasts. Thank you for commenting with your experience. 🙏🏻👍🏻☺️
Great video Doug, thanks for taking the time to edit and uploading this for the world to see. I still can’t stop beaming watching this, probably as much as I did on the day itself and shows Brian as his genuine self. What a special day. And it was also an absolute pleasure to meet and chat with you on the day. 🙏🙏
I have met Brian a few times and every time he has been fantastic. That young man has a brilliant anecdote for when he is much older, "Did you know that I once played "We Will Rock You" on drums with Brian May. He has the video to prove it.
I saw my 1st concert in 1977. It was Queen backed up by Thin Lizzy. Never in my wildest imagination would I have thought I’d be watching such a great event as this. Brian May is such a kind person. It’s incredible.
Thanks for commenting. I have been reflecting on the uniqueness of this event as I respond to all the positive comments such as yours. I can't think of another time when Brian has attended a small enthusiast event like this and spent so much time with everyone. I certainly haven't seen any media content of a similar experience. 🤘🏼😀
My sister is responsible for turning me on to the guitar, I was 10 years old and we watched a Queen Live Concert in TV, then I knew what I wanted. A guitar. Thank you so much, Brian ♥🎸
Thanks for sharing, as someone unable to attend events easily due to similar health issues as Bri I was so happy to see the FB posts of everyoen who attended this and so happy for you all. One day I may meet him and say thanks after being a fan 50 years, Thank you again for sharing.
@@dsgb very clear that Brian himself loved being there and was very engaged and accessible to the audience. Great also to see that he is doing well after his recent health issues
So there is a pretty large room full of people who are there because of Brian Mays guitar. That’s pretty crazy but truly a testament to what they(Brian and the old lady) did together. So cool of him to come down and see them, what a great chap!
Hi. Thanks for commenting. I have tried to capture the friendly atmosphere of the U.K. Red Special meet-ups via photographs and video media since 2017. I'm pleased that watching this makes you feel present at the event. Please check out my other content here on TH-cam and on the events section of my website: dsgb.net/events
I met Brian when I was 14 years old here in Seattle. It was Queen's 2nd night of the Game Tour. Life changing experience. That's still when Queen was really Queen; with the Pizza Oven lighting rig, four guys onstage.
Very interesting video great to hear Brian and how he created the red special with his father and all the stories he had to tell absolute legend I’ve always been a massive queen fan.
A few commenters seem to be fed up with hearing the same stories over and over again but I can confirm that they still sound fascinating and fresh when heard in person. 😀👍🏻
Musicotherapy is definitely a thing! Brian May, with his soothing voice and melodic harmonies and signature legato solos is a musical medicine man. 🥰🎸👍🏻
@@dsgb btw after watching your video I fell into a TH-cam binge trap of pickup polarity and pu manifacturing, notions of magnetism and ultimately Nikolaj Tesla's studies on human magnetic field. 😂
It was like a dream standing so close to Brian surrounded by friends and fellow enthusiasts. Then when Brian played an improvised WWRY with young Josh calmly and coolly accompanying him in the background, it was so special and a very intimate experience which will probably never be repeated. 💜🥰
WoW. People from all over. Brian May and Queen are icons of entertainment. Brian whose guitar was his voice on stage. Good singer in his own right. The unforgettable flamboyant showman Freddy Mercury. The music they gave us will last forever.
Even though he's 1 quarter of one of the worlds biggest rock bands, a guitar legend, and is very well educated, you can not but notice how down to earth, genuine, friendly and humble Brian is.
That comes from being well raised by parents with strong values and a solid educational background. 👍🏻😀 I think people develop one of two ways when they become rich and famous. Selfish, indulgent and boorish, or kind, generous and charitable.
He has inspired so many young people, two generations after him to study music and learn to play the guitar. It's amazing to see some of them travel from afar to attend our enthusiast meeting. 🤩
What a great memory for all those attendees. I've given up on Facebook and therefore my RS group but I know how dedicated the members are, and it's great they had their day with Brian May!
Thanks for commenting. I'm not a member of any Facebook groups either but I reluctantly manage my own blog page on the platform. I joined the community in August 2012 when it was on traditional web forums. 😀
@dsgb yes I'd prefer the old forums! Tbh I rarely contributed to the red special forum on FB, I just used to watch other people playing! The Italian guy Marco was incredibly talented. I see Pete Malandrone wasn't there with Brian, I hope he is in good health.
Mallers is recovering from a head injury. People who know him were being very discreet about the situation out of respect. All I heard was that he was not expected back to work in the near future.
How amazing this was to watch and would be even more to be there. Thank you for posting this. My absolute favorite group ever and my top guitar player / riff creator ever. Thank you.
Thanks for commenting. ☺️👍🏻 We would have had to hire Wembley stadium to accommodate everyone who wished they could have been there. This would be amazing but unfortunately there's a practical limit to how many people can attend a national event organised by amateur enthusiasts to prevent compromising its homely and friendly atmosphere.
Glad you enjoyed it. Every Brian May enthusiast needs to witness what we all know: Bri is a kind, generous, warm hearted human being in addition to being a music legend, admired by millions. No better role model for how to live your life IMO. 🙏🏻💜
Hi Guys, I just want to say thanks to Jon and Doug for this incredible event and video. What a great community you have. Hopefully one day I could possibly make the event. I’d like to finish off by saying what a true gentleman and great human being Brian is. Awesome! Great Job all round!
@@dsgb Hi Doug, I’d love to attend an event at some stage. I’m currently living in Idaho, but moving back to the UK next year, to hopefully retire. So maybe sometime in the future this will be possible. 🤞I joined the queen fan club back in 1975 and always been fascinated with the guitar and now have my red special plans draught out. I just hope that my guitar skills are up to it, though I did work for Martin Guitar for 6 years, so I’m sure that will help. Love to meet you guys one day. All the best. Cheers Peter

Thank you so much. 🙏🏻💜 Sorry I didn't caption your name Jason but I couldn't put names to all the faces. 😔 The day went so quickly for everyone it seems and already people are telling me they didn't get chance to say hello. I feel bad. Next year man and enjoy that ukelele and meeting the big man! 🤘🏼😀
Hi Michael. A number of us, including Jon were fighting back tears a lot during the day. It was incredible witnessing that and being part of the event. 👍🏻😀
Great. Part 2 will feature guitars and gear with some commentary in my usual highlights package style. I might cut in some clips of Brian to balance the content but the video and audio quality isn't so great when I zoom in.
@dsgb looking at it in Brian's perspective, seeing what all us geeks have done with his old girl, must be really overwhelming. A guitar, born out of poverty, sets the rocking world on fire, and collected its own fanclub! Not many guitarist can say that! After this video.... I just look a bit different at my humble BMG... What a great instrument it is!
Yeah, thankfully he was appreciative of why we do what we do in his name and his father's honour. There's always a worry he would be wierded out by excessive nerdiness. 😐
@dsgb to be honest? No chance that Brian got weirded out! He is not like us, but just as much a geek as we are! And he knows it too, he said it, "Us Geeks!" 🤣
@fretlessfender You're right, he did acknowledge that. He certainly went full Open University lecturer later on when talking about amplifier valve biasing! 😃
I'm not much of a Queen fan but this got recommended to me. I have to say it's lovely to see Brian May meeting with fans this way. What an absolutely top chap.
Fantastic story about Brian May building his own guitar. He couldnt have though it would come to anything, make him the rock star he became. There is a clip of him in a New York bar in the early 90s being asked to join a jam session, said he was too busy but when Les Paul was there he said he got the first plane out lol.
Thank you buddy for all the meet-ups you and Steve, Jonathan, Luke, Matt, Paul and others have organised since 2017. Every one has been unique and memorable. Some, like this one feel life-changing. No exaggeration. 💜🙏🏻🤩
@@dsgbthanks for capturing this. I have such a fond memory of that hug and I'm telling him in his ear how lucky I am. For once it felt like hugging a human, warm, sincere like family that to me he really is. Thanks so so much
You all were so privileged. I was fortunate to see Queen at Sun City, South Africa, in 1984. Still have the ticket stubs and some memorable photos that I will treasure until my dying day. I stood in front of Brian the whole show.
@@dsgb yes, the dark, naughty years of South Africa (not that it’s any better now). Queen were put on a “black list”, not for long. They refused to get involved in politics. There were a number of shows cancelled, due to Freddy getting laryngitis. A fairly common occurrence when travelling from Europe to SA. As it turned out, the tickets I had bought coincided with the first show post Freddie’s recovery. Which brought with it a couple of interesting “mistakes”. So I was extremely fortunate on all counts.
Brian comes across as a nice person. He was good to spend 3 hours with you after his health problem. I do hope he's with us for a long time to come. He's a living icon and a great player.
He is so lovely and genuine. I also hope he is around for at least another decade and remains active in the public eye. He has a lot left to contribute. 👍🏻☺️
Indeed. I guess most of us choose that option but in this case he got so much positive energy from the day that it probably did him more good than harm.
Brian telling about his RS. Such a beautiful piece & she sings so beautifully. What a honor to meet with Brian & listen to him tell about his pride & joy .Then, for you all to hear him make such amazing music as Brian has the Red Special sing to you all. ❤🎸
Sir Brian May… anyone who meets him will know how generous he is with his time, how kind and thoughtful he is and how humble is his nature. That meet up (like all the meet ups) looks such fun. But to have Brian as the guest? Unforgettable for everyone there. The RS community is such a positive group; how one man and his unique guitar generates so much love, affection and respect is a beautiful thing. Thank you for filming this event. As a big fan, but a little rusty in my playing, I’d love to attend a meet at some point…

Actually brought tears to my eyes seeing Brian so happy to be there and relaxed and you guys enjoying it and the awards and such talent throuhout from you all - beautiful!
A few of us were fighting back tears throughout, particularly when Ulli Hunger got a recognition award. 🥹
Wow, that's such an inspiring story to hear, thank you for leaving such a detailed and positive comment David. 💜☺️
@@dsgb youre very welcome 🙏 🎸🎸🎸
😀👍🏻
“Dr Sir Brian May!” Boy did that warm my heart! I’ve been trying to thin my guitars for years then accidentally, a Red Special came to live here. I love it!
Watching you caress and discuss you life’s work tool is a pleasure.
Lovely sentiments James, thanks for commenting. A Red Special guitar is a versatile instrument but needs a careful touch to tame it at full blast.
What a gem of a human being,a scholarly rock star, the best kind!
A scholar, a music icon, a father, a grandfather, just all round great person as many have commented. 🙏🏻🤘🏼😀
Likewise Alan. You got a starring role! Lovely to meet you and finally put a face to a name in social media land! 💜😀👍🏻
I have met Brian a few times and every time he has been fantastic. That young man has a brilliant anecdote for when he is much older, "Did you know that I once played "We Will Rock You" on drums with Brian May. He has the video to prove it.
Yeah, we all love Josh and are in awe of what he is achieving. He seemed unfazed by the whole experience. What a cool cat he is! 👌🏻🤘🏼
I love hearing people's personal testimony about how they first got into Queen and Brian May. 👍🏻💜
Amazing. It’s like meeting Father Christmas and giving him presents
That's a good analogy! 🤩👍🏻
A legend and a gentleman to make time for his fans. Onward and upward Bri!
He is indeed a legend and a gentleman in addition to rock god, astrophysicist, stereoscopic photographer and animal rights champion. 😀💜
Thanks for sharing, as someone unable to attend events easily due to similar health issues as Bri I was so happy to see the FB posts of everyoen who attended this and so happy for you all. One day I may meet him and say thanks after being a fan 50 years, Thank you again for sharing.
I too hope that one day you will meet him. Thanks for your kind comments. 🥰👍🏻
I am reminded of his humble generosity. What a cool dude. Well done. Thank you for sharing and uploading
Lovely stuff. Thanks for commenting. I'm pleased that my compilation of amateur smartphone footage has been so well received. 😀👍🏻💜
This man created some of the best guitar solos and inspired many many generations......what a guy you are sir brian may
Beautiful, melodic guitar solos. Not tedious 10 notes per second shredding. 🤩
@@dsgb so true 🎸 ..... brian's unique sounds and ability to use the guitar as a voice will forever inspire me.
That's so nice to hear. ☺️💜
Thank you so much for capturing and sharing this. What a special event. Great to have been able to see this footage
Thank you so much. 🙏🏻💜 I'm pleased that you enjoyed watching my video. ☺️
@@dsgb very clear that Brian himself loved being there and was very engaged and accessible to the audience. Great also to see that he is doing well after his recent health issues
You have captured the spirit and intent of Brian's time with us perfectly with this comment. 👍🏻😀
So there is a pretty large room full of people who are there because of Brian Mays guitar. That’s pretty crazy but truly a testament to what they(Brian and the old lady) did together. So cool of him to come down and see them, what a great chap!
Yes. Brian could hardly believe it either. About 100 people obsessed with his guitar and gear. 😮
Thanks for posting! It was awesome to be there and I still can’t believe my 55 yr old dream came so true, so well with such a true gent of a man ❤
I'm so glad this happened for us and as we all hoped and dreamed. 🥰💜
Love this side of YT. You can be sort of present in lovely gatherings like this. Thank you!
Hi. Thanks for commenting. I have tried to capture the friendly atmosphere of the U.K. Red Special meet-ups via photographs and video media since 2017. I'm pleased that watching this makes you feel present at the event. Please check out my other content here on TH-cam and on the events section of my website:

Que humildad la de este hombre, Influenciando a tanta gente con su arte, Dios salve al Sr May, y su Red Special!!!!!
I met Brian when I was 14 years old here in Seattle. It was Queen's 2nd night of the Game Tour. Life changing experience. That's still when Queen was really Queen; with the Pizza Oven lighting rig, four guys onstage.
Oh man, it's so great to hear that was a life changing experience for you. This meeting/convention was near life-changing for some of us. 🙏🏻💜👍🏻
Such a gentleman, and a joy to listen to. Brian May is the REAL deal...a Rock STAR!
Thanks for commenting. We agree and could listen to him talk about pretty much anything for hours. 🤩👍🏻
thanks for editing and sharing!
if Musicotherapy is a thing, them the molecule Brian + RS is amongst the most effective natural healers.
Excellent. This is the way. 👍🏻😀
I'm not joking, that rendition of WWRY with the youngster on drums, was just about the most beautiful thing I've heard in a long time!
It was like a dream standing so close to Brian surrounded by friends and fellow enthusiasts. Then when Brian played an improvised WWRY with young Josh calmly and coolly accompanying him in the background, it was so special and a very intimate experience which will probably never be repeated. 💜🥰
So dear with the boy on drums. Wishing Brian all the absolute best.
That was so lovely. Josh Cottrill just took it all in his stride... such a cool little guy. 😀👌🏻
The kid just seemed pretty clueless about who exactly he was playing with.
@AD-kv9kj He knew. 😏
Thank you Doug for this. Julian is the Master of all of us "nerds". Very happy to saw in person this exact moment. ❤
He surely is. A very knowledgeable and nice guy. He has helped a lot of people. I make a bee line for him ecery meet-up. ☺️
WoW. People from all over. Brian May and Queen are icons of entertainment. Brian whose guitar was his voice on stage. Good singer in his own right. The unforgettable flamboyant showman Freddy Mercury. The music they gave us will last forever.
Beautiful sentiments and so true, thank you for leaving such a positive comment. 👍🏻😀
Brian a true guitar hero and legend. What a great roll model for the guitar and music.
He has inspired so many young people, two generations after him to study music and learn to play the guitar. It's amazing to see some of them travel from afar to attend our enthusiast meeting. 🤩
Outstanding ...what a moment in time..what a community...well done brother
Truly special times. Thanks for recognising this. 💜🥰
Just got to say what a lovely lovely bloke Brian May is . Can’t think of anybody else that would do this and show genuine warmth to his fans
I also can't think of any other celebrity musician of his fame and stature that would stay for that long and be so obviously genuinely nice.👌🏻 💜
How amazing! What a great person Brian is!
A true gentleman and guitar god. 👍🏻😀
Sir Dr May… is… an absolute gent… what a humble great chap…🫡
So many people have made similar comments, it has been really amazing reading them all. Thank you so much. 💜👍🏻
I really enjoyed this
Thnx 4 uploading
Great, thanks for commenting. It means a lot. 🙏🏻
Thank you for sharing!!
No problem. I produce a Red Special meet-up video highlights package every year. 👍🏻😀
What an absolute total gem. Very heartwarming.
Thanks for commenting. I'm pleased that the warmth and kindness Brian expressed during the day was conveyed in my video. ☺️👍🏻
Brian Is such a nice Person .has time for everyone..God bless him.
He is a very nice person and always makes time for everyone. 😀💜👍🏻
That was a great watch, well done Doug, thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it. Every Brian May enthusiast needs to witness what we all know: Bri is a kind, generous, warm hearted human being in addition to being a music legend, admired by millions. No better role model for how to live your life IMO. 🙏🏻💜
Brian, very kind of you to do this!
Thanks for acknowledging his kind gesture to us. 🙏🏻💜😀
thank you for making this documentation.
cheers from Indonesia 🇮🇩
My pleasure. Greetings from Scotland! 🏴
wow, what a great experience! Thank you for sharing the video!
It was a pleasure m. ☺️💜
Thanks for the upload, What a legend and a gentleman sir Brian is.
So many people believe this therefore it must be true! 🥰💜
Hi Guys, I just want to say thanks to Jon and Doug for this incredible event and video. What a great community you have. Hopefully one day I could possibly make the event. I’d like to finish off by saying what a true gentleman and great human being Brian is. Awesome! Great Job all round!
Hi Peter, thank you for your kind words and sentiments. Brian is the best! A great guy. I hope you can make it to a future event. 👍🏻😀
Oh wow. Good luck with your move and everything. Thanks for commenting and I look forward to seeing you at one of our enthusiast events in future. 💜👍🏻🙏🏻
Спасибо. Брайн, Вы и Ваша гитара - огромное счастье в музыкальном мире и большая школа для молодёжи.
Brian and his trusty Red Special are indeed a blessing to rock music fans and have been an inspiration to many generations of aspiring young musicians in the past and willl be in the future. 🙏🏻😀
Live legend! Thanks for all in music. Long Life, man!
I hope he lives long too.
It's imposible not to love this guy.
We all wholeheartedly agree. 🥰👍🏻
Moin, have a nice day with all good wishes!.such a great experience to hear Brian May and his great wonderful guitar.thanks for that!a feast for the ears.makes the day special!❤️🙏💯🍀🥁🪘🎸🎶🙋🦜🥰
Thanks for commenting and expressing positivity. 💜🥰👍🏻
Hi Doug. Thanks for sharing this.
Great that I can show my family me receiving the ukulele from Sir Brian.
Be great to chat with you at the next meet-up, I'm a great admirer of your work in the RS arena and the professionalism of your videos. Cheers!
@@dsgb No worries, I'm just glad I've got a record of the event so thanks. Definitely catch up next time. Cheers! 👍🏻🤘🏻
Sure. Next. Year. 😃
OH I love this so much. what a lovely man!!!
He is just so nice in person. 💜😀
Thanks for sharing this amazing moments !

It's my pleasure. Thanks for commenting. 👍🏻😀
I'm so happy for all of you guys ❤
Thank you. Peace and love to you 🤘🏼💜
Thank you for sharing it!
My pleasure. This video has had superb engagement. I am humbled. 👍🏻😀🙏🏻
Thank you for posting this! Emotional stuff👌🤘🥰🎸🎸
Hi Michael. A number of us, including Jon were fighting back tears a lot during the day. It was incredible witnessing that and being part of the event. 👍🏻😀
@@dsgbCan't wait for Part 2!!!!❤
Great. Part 2 will feature guitars and gear with some commentary in my usual highlights package style. I might cut in some clips of Brian to balance the content but the video and audio quality isn't so great when I zoom in.
@@dsgb 👌😊🤘🎸
You can really tell that Brian loved this afternoon!
Yes, it was obvious. We're just thrilled that he loved it as much as we did.
Great, thanks for watching and leaving a supportive comment. I appreciate your engagement. 🙏🏻💜
The badgers love him, too.
@SpaceCattttt And foxed 🦊
Thanks for this. Glad I’m not the only one intrigued by this guitar
Oh you're not the only one for sure. 😀
Thank you very much for this video.
I could have filmed more but it's not cool and I want to enjoy the moments myself without my arms feeling like they're dropping off. 😀
Amazing Brian loved watching you play
We were honoured to watch and listen to him. It was like a dream. 😮👍🏻
Fantastic story about Brian May building his own guitar. He couldnt have though it would come to anything, make him the rock star he became. There is a clip of him in a New York bar in the early 90s being asked to join a jam session, said he was too busy but when Les Paul was there he said he got the first plane out lol.
It is a legendary story. He can't quite believe why we all are obsessed wity the guitar. Must be strange. 😀
This rock legend and he is a legend does things like this unbelievable..not many if at all would turn up for an event like this..
We often wonder how many other famous guitarists with his profile would engage with their fanbase like Brian. 🤔
Thank you for capturing the day Doug. What a day it was
Thank you buddy for all the meet-ups you and Steve, Jonathan, Luke, Matt, Paul and others have organised since 2017.
Thanks so so much
You're some kind of legend yourself Josef Camilleri from Malta! Brian is superhuman and a super human. Puts everyone at ease. 😇
You all were so privileged. I was fortunate to see Queen at Sun City, South Africa, in 1984. Still have the ticket stubs and some memorable photos that I will treasure until my dying day. I stood in front of Brian the whole show.
Wow, I understand that was a controversial concert. Those are memories you will cherish forever indeed. 😮🙏🏻
@jimmcdougall9973 Great anecdotes Jim, thanks for sharing. Not many folks have had this experience! 😃
Thanks for filming and posting, you all must have had a whale of a time. Not jealous at all 😬.
It was a very memorable occasion. Everybody was thrilled that Brian spent so long with us collectively and individually.
Brian May, rock star, academic and all round lovely guy! Not many about.
Agreed. He could be unique in possessing all those talents. 💜🎸👍🏻
@@dsgb Definitely. so humble as well.
After all these years he’s still inspiring ❤❤❤
A lifetime dedicated to entertaining people around the world. 🙏🏻😀
Brian is humble and kind.
It shines through.
What a total legend.
Lots have people who were present and who have watched my video clips have also recognised this; it's so true. ☺️👍🏻
@@dsgb I wonder why some continue. After his stroke, he should step back now. Enjoy his grandkids and rest.
Thanks for commenting Nancy and expressing kind sentiments to us and Brian. The Red Special was in good voice. 💜🤩
That sound, wow! What an amazing guy Brian is. A true legend.
Nothing beats the guttural but warm sound of a Vox AC30 in our opinion. 😬
Lovely sentiments and kind words, thank you. 🙏🏻💜 I hope to see you at a future event.
🫂🥹👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I came to know Queen in the early 70s.
And I've always been a fan of them and will be for life.
I got into Queen in the late 1980s and I also became a fan for life. 💜😀
Wish we could've been there!
It would have been great to see you again. 😀
Many of the others so called „stars“ should take example of a such a gentle guy. A real star without arrogant attitudes.
Yes, I agree. Some are self-important but many are fairly down-to-earth. For example, Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits seems pretty humble. 😀👍🏻
Pretty brave and cool that he did this after his stroke. Many would have bailed.
We think so Donald and are certainly very appreciative of his gesture. 💜🤔
That is so insane I love it!
It is insane. Scarcely believable it actually happened. 😮
This is just amazing 🤩
Thank you so much. It was a truly amazing day. 💜
