Proper good old British Bobbys.. Not like the Corrupt Gestapo police we have now. They never come out and all the police stations are shut down or gone.
In about 1974/5 I got in trouble with the police can’t remember what it was I did but the magistrate sentenced me to work scrubs at the training place in this film I cleaned up the dog poo and washed down the kennels as well as shovelling horse dung I met a lot of nice coppers and some nasty spiteful horrors some of them understood me as being a very poor kid very badly bullied at school and by my older brother my mum had five of us and no man he got off and these local coppers new this and new I was a good kid realy and I proved them right I went on to be ok
At 34.31 The two white shirts, sitting on the shed roof in the background, to the left of the left hand flagpole, are supposed to be Lennon and McCartney. That's McCartney's house.
In the description it says 34.10. To be fair, you could say there are four City policemen fixing a hole on the roof of Number 09 Abbey Road, for all that can actually be seen. If you look closely at 34.10, that's Henry the Horse.
This being a Police promotional film is ironically why I feel obliged to point out that @2:32 We see a train arriving on the platform and sunlight is seen cascading through the windows on the left, lighting up the faces of those seen leaving the train. The woman seen hurrying from the train has 3 individuals walking along the platform towards her, a soldier in uniform and an elderly couple. Please note that the sunlight seen cast upon the platform, train and those leaving the train, has no such effect on the soldier or elderly couple walking through the very same light. This strongly suggests that this 'clip' is a composite of two or more unrelated scenes being arranged to appear as one. Photoshopped basically, and you cannot deny that they are a dab hand and very convincing. Only a keen eye will spot inconsistencies like that pointed out here.
There are NO inconsistencies at 2.32- all in your imagination I'm afraid. You only need ask yourself why would a scene such as that need to be tampered with ??
@@scabbycatcat4202 No offence my friend but I care not if you choose to agree or disagree, I wasn't looking for confirmation on what I see as inconsistencies. As to why would anyone produce this fake footage? This would be guesswork at best so why bother.
Fair enough but just in the interests of accuracy I did not say or suggest the footage was fake I asked why would anyone need to tamper with the footage .- regards

My favourite is the end of this movie. Precious……and gone I am not British, do not live in Britain but have been visiting since times where the UK …….well…..was the UK and its Police to be trusted and respected. I just loved it. The country is now a dump and its police force a disgrace especially after what happened in July.
Well McCartney said they used to get on the shed in his back garden and watch the yearly police horse show...so yeah it's very likely him...who's with him???
Not to worry. Eleven years later the Police would GET their own BACK by sneaking into the background of the Beatles photograph on the Abbey Road cover.
How times have changed the Police now accept virtually any size or ‘shape’ person. I applied to join the Police 1957 went to the Police training school near Warrington to take my acceptance test. I past all the tests with flying colours but astounded to find my chest measurement was half an inch too small therefore failed the test. When I look at todays bobbies I think how time has changed I could blow over some of the present bobbies. Just AMAZING.
They hire on ideology these days. We need a parallel private force of old School police officers and ex army, because we have no law in this country post 2020
Yes you are right, some of them don't look old enough to shave now, i saw one police girl with dyed blonde hair and painted red finger nails, yes times have changed.
Well Liverpool looked a nice place in 1958 ... Loverly houses .. some with telephone ,, Football clubs .. nice fashion .. all houses with a front garden .. training n helping out the milk deliveries .. .. where there NO slums in 1958 ... We never had a car or a telephone or a front garden . Looks like nothing has changed .. all B shit like todays Police ..
I was a mere one year old when this was made, But what a great piece of old film, I have lost count on the times I have watched it .

oh brother bad over there now?
trawled all the way through and couldn't see the dynamic duo bless em. Not one real 'nowhere man' but two!

If only our Police got proper training now. .
I recognise some of the places on here. I'd love to know the rest of the locations of this film

I think George is on the shed too...he's writing "little piggies" or something...( no, something came later)...
The Merseyside Police Training Academy (on Mather Street) is still around the corner from where Paul lived then.
Not to worry. Eleven years later the Police would GET their own BACK by sneaking into the background of the Beatles photograph on the Abbey Road cover.
More to the point when did the police loose the lancer squadron?
‘Ello ‘Ello what’s all this then. Filmed at the start of Liverpool’s great delcline, which it’s only just coming out of.
Nah, we came out of it in the late 90s early 00s
When life was way more simple.
