thanks so much for this collection!! it's so awesome to see them all in one video!! i've always preferred the sound effects in the DS era, they're a bit over the top but in a good way imo :) the correct answer sound is a lot more satisfying than the 3DS one though!!
As someone who has played with the French voices for all these years it sounds so weird to hear these people speak English (Especially Layton because he sounds older in English ? 😭) It's a very good compiliation tho it's nice someone made one because I think a lot of us needed that 👁👁
Now don't get me wrong, I'm french too, and I love the french dubbing... But for Layton, both the French and English one are good voices. The English one makes him sound more chill and thiking, while his french voice, in the person of Martial Leminoux, gives a more joyful and smiling tone. Also for older Luke, the voice is more fitting than what we had in French xD No offense to Boris de Mourzich of course, but Yuri Lowenthal (who also voiced Randall) is better in my point of view for this role. Oh and yeah, that's a very nice compilation ^^ and it makes me glad to see another french fan of Professor Layton !

I'd say it's like a 60/40 with the Layton sections having a bit more presence, since the investigation of Ace Attorney is not really present or it's mixed with the Layton investigation. If you like AA I'd say you play until the second witch trial, since it's the best part of the game

They are still present in the files. These are part of a very long animation, and I'm not sure if all of it can be seen in-game.

I dunno if the puzzles in the Storyteller's tower can be failed, but it would seem that there are also puzzle failed animations for it, as well as a Layton + Wright puzzle fail animation present in the files. PLvsAA is my favourite game in both series, and I have spent far too many hours looking at it and its files.

The one you mention with Randall, and Phoenix & Layton are just extra voice lines tho. I'm not showing all the dialogues here since that would be waaay longer than 12 minutes, some characters have 6 responses for failing and winning, I might make another video for that if this one gets enough attention. However, I completely missed the Darklaw animation you mentioned D: I couldn't play the DLC so I didn't remember that, thank you for mentioning it.

Yes, pixelated, but clear But probably you choose emulator which isn't using this kind of filtration as default. And DS-animations looks kinda blurry Also, in HD we have audio with better quality. I don't know was Flora redubbed in LF HD, or it's just a quality, but... Gosh, how terrible she sounds here. In HD it's also kinda terrible (what they done to her... I know that actress could do better) but this is a new (or old?) level of terribleness
