I love this, how am I just now discovering it? And for anyone who wishes to know, the clip he was going to show at 4:02 was a scene from Eternal Diva. Arguably the best swordfight in the Layton series, the other contender being the one in Diabolical Box.

Layton in Smash! He is an amazing swordsman! He could have a mechanic to “puzzle” enemies! Or perhaps tag team with Luke! You could steal hint coins off of people and use them to power up your final smash! I’m digging this tenfold
If I were going to that festival, I would've dressed up as descole. Then I would've gone up to him, grab a fake sword and be like, "I challenge you to a duel!" XD
I thank you so much for this. Brings back so many memories of the 2011 youmacon. I was going to skip this panel at first but decided what the hell and went in. I was not disappointed. Fun fact it was my sister that did the "I love you" quote and I did the "pie" quote. So again thank you.
