I love how the first few suspects challenged Laytons accusations, but when Don Paolo is accused of the crime on the bridge he just rips off his mask and yeets it outta there. Truly a smart man, to know when he's beaten.
Unfortunately, this does not make any sense. Luke and Layton met Don Paolo the first time in curious village, which is set after the events of the movie. Therefore, they or at least Luke wouldn’t know him. I really do not understand why they made such an obvious mistake.
@@silano360during the introduction, specifically when placing the record into the gramophone, Luke states that it has been '3 years since that case' - hope this helps
@@silano360 as the previous comment stated, indeed the movie introduction does a little time-skip. you can see Luke's outfit change to the "younger" version, as well as hearing him say that. no mistakes there, the continuity remains solid. in fact, the entire movie is sort of a flashback to that adventure, all while they listened to Janice's song (which also makes for the end credits of the movie, after which Janice arrives at Layton's office in the "present day").
@@silano360The cold open takes place after the events of the movie as well, so it makes perfect sense. The events of the movie were told in the form of flashbacks.
This franchise was the best selling Nintendo franchises in the UK for a very long time. Every store shelf was packed with them with every new release. I think when Lost Future came out Toys R' Us had like nearly 1500 copies in store. I don't know, I was only like 4 or 5 at the time, but I can remember every store I went to Professor Layton was one of the most trending game franchises, along with Halo, Batman Arkham and Uncharted.
2:44 wow, Don just GAVE UP INSTANTLY HUH? not even any trying to cover up, in curious village he was trying to hide it left and right but nah, here he just gives the ghost like a scooby doo villain!
Hey, SoLinkSmash, i wanted to ask you a favor. I'm producing an Italian Ace Attorney series, named "Ace Attorney: Twin Fusion". It's basically a Fan AU where we do acting. I am really confident about this project, so i ask you gently if i can use some of the Instrumentals from the Ace Attorney Musical you made, because i found them really Amazing. Obv, i Will credit you at the and of the episodes and in the description. I'm waiting for an answer, and i look forward to our partnership. PS Sorry for the bad english, i'm still learning XD
Hi! Yes, you can use the instrumentals from Turnabout Musical. I myself did not make them though - Turnabout Musical was made by PW Musical Productions, so please credit them instead. Also the people who made each instrumental are in the description of each video, so you should also credit them too for whichever ones you use.
Everybody gangsta until professor layton says "isn't it obvious?"
This is the best comment I’ve ever read in my entire life. Thank you
@@milomiles4005 i agree with this statement
@@ryukikuruto thank you Moth. Also I really like your Profile pic
Because at that point, the good professor has figured out who done it, and is about to explain who, how, and why.
"Isn't it obvious?" (says some nonsensical totally out there stuff which turns out to be true)
LAYTON: "Isn't it obvious?"
ME: *NO--*
The Phoenix Wright crossover should have had significantly more of Phoenix Wright and Professor Layton dramatically pointing at each other.
Meh. Them pointing together is cool too.
But yea, you'd expect a lot more _vs_ from a game called PLvsPW, huh?🤔🤔
That stuff happens in-game, not so much in cutscenes.
3:07 Luke imitating Layton is so cute🥺, I love him so much
Love when he says "Isn't it obvious?"
It’s never obvious tbh

Professor Layton is the one video game character that I can relate most to. I’m not great at solving puzzles but I do strive to be a true gentleman.

I got into Layton after reading all of the huge coverage it got in Official Nintendo Magazine (ONM) over in the UK, back in 2008! Good times

How did Descole change fits so quickly
It’s Descole.
He has always two of those Victorian outfits with him for sure
Can't wait to see professor layton doing that again in the new game !!!!

Why someone that never played all games and didn't want to see a spoiler would came to a video like this in the first place?

I think it's the most literal reference to this series being inspired by ace attorney of all games.
