Does it recreate an existing game too closely? Does it use assets stolen from an existing game? No. So i would love to hear your "obvious reasons".

What video creator doesnt understand is nintendo doesnt typically go after a fangame under the current conditions that his falls under.
You did a really good job on this though, I'm impressed! The animation is fluent, the gameplay is just like original Mario with a pinch of sadism and the audio radiates 30's jazz music energy. Very good.

I understand that you had a time limit but if this was even more true to Cuphead, it would’ve been hand animated on paper, but that takes a lot of time so it makes sense why you didn’t (or you might’ve not known that fact and just did it the way you did)

You probably could have used more or less the same animation for big Mario but he shrunk back to normal (like popeye)just that he could break brick blocks.
