Hello Tina! I wanted to let you know that the link to your artist website in your bio brought me to an error page. I did find your website by searching your name online, and that URL appeared to be different! I am sure many people will be making their way over to your website to check out all of the incredible work you've created, so I thought it would be good to inform you that the link might need to be updated. It was simply the best watching your videos, seeing your workflow, and getting to know you. God bless you and your work, Tina!!
Thank you!! Yes, it’s definitely my dream job! It’s also the most difficult job I’ve had, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything else (especially the old jobs I had to work before this was possible) Best of luck to you! I’m thinking of doing a “what I wish I knew before become a professional artist” video :)
I have been dreaming of knowing more about you and your painting process. How wonderful that you are on youtube!😄 btw i can't find your Oaks Studio video. Could you put a link here? 🥺
That makes me so happy to hear!! I'm excited to start my TH-cam journey for that very reason :) Here is the link for you! atelierlive.eastoaksstudio.com/programs/color-study-lecture-figarelli?category_id=46892
Thank you so much! I use ACM panels, or aluminum composite material. It’s the same material they use for stop signs. It’s the most archival thing to paint on (besides copper) because it doesn’t react to temperature or humidity like stretched canvas :) I can talk more about it in a future video if you’d like?
@@tinafigartist Hi Tina! thank-you so much for your kind reply! I have heard few times now artists start to use ACM panels, though maybe not as accessible in Australia yet. Yes I have heard of the benefit of aluminium surface and base support. And yes would love to hear your take too in future video! thanks again Tina, keep up with beautiful art endeavour :)
I talked a little about my skin tone mixtures in another video titled Painting Luminous skin tones! I’m also teaching a workshop this week where I will go over my mixtures! atelierlive.eastoaksstudio.com/programs/live-narrative-portrait-tg-1?category_id=64999
