I really miss painting.
I miss the smell of colors and being smeared with them,This video made me cry a little because painting was my identity and it was what I was good at and what I enjoy, It was where I found myself. I stopped painting for a year because I was busy studying in order to go to university. I will finish my exams in 3 weeks and I hope to go back to painting again because I feel like I lost it for the sake of university.

@@mabyonedayicanbehappy oil colors have a strong smell of oils, and their smell varies depending on the brand. When I used to using them, I opened the window of my room in to not suffocate because of the smell even acrylic colors have a strong and distinctive smell

I'm crying while writing this. Thank you so much Jimena, I really needed to watch this as I was trying to paint in my so limited time because of work and life. This gave me a lot of courage and joy and reminded me why I was painting in the first place. Right now in my life I'm working as an engineer but never felt like one, my soul belongs to this beautiful unknown lands. They're always calling for me. Maybe one day if everything will align, I will become a full time artist but for now I will just keep paint and paint towards that dream 🤍

Ive been feeling dull and uninspired by life lately and I decided to watch this before going to bed as it was a random video that popped up and this truly calmed me and made me feel that there's still beauty and serenity in life even if my lifes lacking it. Thank you so much for this! Seeing the title of this video has me in tears, and of course, seeing the video does too. My grandfather was an artist, and he got me into art at a very young age. He was my everything. He passed five years ago, and I still struggle. Yesterday, I painted for the first time in two months, because of my mental health. I realized that painting is the best thing for my mental health. And this video was a great reminder for me, because my grandfather’s last words to me were, “Just keep painting.”
It's amazing how much you've evolved as an artist. I'm also from spain, and you inspire me to keep drawing and painting, even when times are rough.

Your paintings are so beautiful, soft and gentle. When you first see it as a whole, it's mesmerizing, and soon get so caught up in all the little details. It's an entire story with no words. One of my art teachers said realism wasn't art, because anyone can copy a photo. I disagree so strongly depending on the artist. Some artists like this, capture more than a photo ever could. They capture a soul. I believe that's why it's such a vulnerable feeling to create these pieces. It's not just the artists soul being captured.
I used to rewatch one of ur getting ur life together vlogs on repeat every year. It’s been yearsss now but ur old videos are gone. I love and miss you you’re such a breath of fresh air 🩵

Oh my Gosh I literally feel the same way too like i am sensitive about what i have created, I have been writing so many poetries because i want to publish them so I am working on it but I felt like how am I supposed to share it with the other people its my deep feelings and its very personal to me so it kind of feels special too, I am glad to know that I am not the only one feeling this way
