for me art is a way to connect purely throw souls without the inconvenience of words ; your art makes me intimidated at first then i get eased out to it its quite unique and weirdly calming ;
I love that! I definitely want to throw people a bit with my work, make you distrustful as if it's a confrontation, but that is a relief that you find them calming too. I put a lot of effort into finding a sense of balance with the work. Thank you 🤎
One of the paintings recalls Botticelli's Birth of Venus. Good job. I love body stylization like Modigliani who wanted to capture the essence and personality of his subjects rather than reproduce a mere physical resemblance.
Thank you! Exactly, I was directly referencing Botticelli's Venus for my 'Lilith Anadyomene' painting. And you aren't the first to mention Modigliani, though I haven't really been drawn to him myself I can certainly see a similarity in the style. I just love the eeriness of elongated forms, something otherworldly about it for me. And I love that sentiment, for me it is certainly intuitive, I'm not interested in capturing physical likeness. Thank you for such a thoughtful and informed comment, makes my day 🤎
@laraquinnart you should consider doing a self portrait in that style. You have a unique beauty that I think would look stunning in a similar painting! Just an idea :) subscribed to see your future projects!
I accidentally came across your video and omg you look alot like jane birkin!!!Plus loved the sincerity and the truthfulness presented in this vid!!Ur art is amazing bravo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Such a high compliment thank you! She is one of my favourites ever. I might have to do a video dedicated to her! And thank you for the lovely words, they are so appreciated 🤎
@@didigotsoul don’t worry, it’s not that one, it’s the one with ‘childish’ in the name. It’s an Amelie inspired song and not an actual Yann Tiersen song from the film. I hope this helps!! 🤎
I’m in love with your whole vibe! This is beautiful

Thank you 🤎
Wow, beautiful & interesting work. I think my favorite is the "Venus" pose inspired Lilith.
Mine too though most people seem to favour Lilith in Utero! Thank you for the lovely comment ❤️

@@missredx oh that is lovely to say, thank you! I’ve certainly been toying with the idea, perhaps I will have to do it as a part of my next project!

Hey what plaster did you use to make the frames? They were awesome!
Hey thank you. It’s plaster bandage!
Cool, it's funny you and a young Jane Birkin have never been spotted together.
That is too high of a compliment! Thank you 🤎
I love young feminist artwork. There’s something unsettling about your Lilith’s face and gaze. Very well done
Thank you so much, that makes me so happy! 🤎
love this!! name of song at 3:17?
I have it listed in the description of my next video! Thank you 🤎
oh, it’s the same song: La Valse d'Amélie (Version piano) · Yann Tiersen? i checked and it doesn’t seem to be the same song at 3:17😩 thanks anyway! 🤎
