Trey and friends, you'll probably never see this, but I wanted you to know that after I complete my college education, I plan to move out of California and become a citizen of a free state in order to purchase and train with your SR-15 platform. KAC rifles being banned by name over here is an absolute disgrace, and I refuse to run your upper on a restricted, handicapped abomination. I love your company and its products and look forward to owning one soon.
You pay for what you get, overpriced? Well I guess that depend if you want a combat proven weapon that you can't rust your life with, or just a budget plinkster.
I was issued KAC gear on the regular. Worked fine but we always ended up upgrading to better gear. SASS Stocks, suppressors, sights. The upgrades were always cheaper and better.
+Tee Dee LMT MWS is sitting at $3000 SR-25 is close to $4500. That is a difference of $1500. If you are talking about the triple tap muzzle break being overpriced at $400 then I am going to assume you have zero experience working with Inconel or machining in general. it is easier to say something is overpriced than to say the features this product has I don't need and only bring additional cost that I can't afford. Not everybody needs battlefield or grunt proof equipment, but some do and can see and justify the expense.
Guns that have run 20k rounds without a cleaning. Some people will pay twice as much for quality and price of mind. If your range plinking it doesn't make a difference, if your staking your life on it, better believe it makes all the difference.
Tee Dee Did I say that? Actually I didn't. I stated that several people have put 10s of thousands rounds through theirs without cleaning. And I said, to some people that kind of quality is easily worth the cost, for others maybe it isn't. I own a SCAR 17, an H&K MR556, and am saving for an SR15. Some people don't mind paying a few hundred, or even thousand more.
I'm an Australian and just want to say thanks for your service mate.
I love my SR-15 thanks Trey and crew!
