Larry Vickers travels the country conducting combat marksmanship classes for law abiding civilians, law enforcement and military and has partnered with Alias Training to coordinate classes to best meet the needs of the students attending the class.
Knight's Armament was founded over 30 years ago as an R&D firm, specializing in products which met the needs of U.S. Special Operations troops. A foundation was laid which focused on providing highly efficient gear which solved real problems and functioned in an effective and intelligent manner. That same foundation is utilized today in the designing and manufacturing of our military weapon platforms. Every weapon that is offered in our Commercial and Law Enforcement lines is a direct modeling of those military platforms. The very same materials, machines, and personnel that go into the production of our military platforms are used in the production of these Commercial and Law Enforcement weapons. This means that the reputable consistency and reliability is available to everyone who handles a weapon from Knight's Armament Company.

Great video. What I appreciate most about Larry isn't his military or training career but that he is a a true student of the gun.

I wish I could find a sand cutter bolt for my SR15 it’s 11.5” with a GBRS hydra mount Aimpoint T2 and dbal A3 but a sandcutter would set it off with the E3 .2bolt

6.8 is going to be the new round for the spec ops community. Civilians already coming around and it will only grow. 5.56 will be used for a long time and will forever be the benchmark, gold standard and a legend

I started learning to design and build tools, gauges, etc. on lathes and milling machines when I was about 14, long before CNC, and Vickers. When a man who has studied mechanical engineering makes a statement that hand fitting is a weakness in a firearm, I have to scratch my head. Hand fitting implies that the piece can be easily manipulated a number of times. Try doing that on just about any modern firearm. One misalignment and you're forced to send it back to the factory.

M60? Nope M240? It'll do for now. And FN said fuck it, and built the Mk 48. And the lord looked down upon it and said it was good.
