Hello Travis, Thanks for posting about all things Marquette. A suggestion for a topic would be clients looking for summer homes. I'd be curious about the pros and cons. I assume you'd need to winterize the property, have some security, and areas you'd need to plow? I live on the coast now and do open swimming daily. It would be interesting to see how realistic that would be during the summer months in Marquette.
I grew up there until high school and haven't been back since. I love seeing how so much has changed, a lot for the better. Thanks again for your videos!
Thanks for checking out the channel! Summer is a great time to be in Marquette! You would need to winterize in the winter as temps do drop below freezing for much of the winter. You may want to plow...but if you're not using it...then I guess not! I'm not sure what you mean by open swimming, but you can certainly swim in the summer and most other months in Lake Superior at least!
@@LivingInMarquetteMichigan@LivingInMarquetteMichigan, thanks for the response, and I appreciate the feedback. My meaning for open swimming is swimming along the shoreline, 1-1.5 miles. Curious if people do this in the summer months or if there are current or other issues that would prevent it. Thanks again
Oh okay I get you! Iâm sure some do, maybe in areas that have some protection from the waves/current. Most would swim/train in an inland lake as you donât have to worry about those things!
@@LivingInMarquetteMichigan Okay, thanks Travis. Have a good weekend
