I thought I’d heard every piece of dialogue but then just the other day I went into the subway after the museum and found an entire thug conversation I’d never heard before
Funnily enough, this wasn't the first time I'd encountered that dialogue, before this video in another playthrough I decided to attack them but the cannibal leaped off to the waters below, couldn't get the chance to deliver him some justice

@@idi-jq6cjt has happen to me sometimes now but it’s hilarious that they jump to there death but if suddenly batman is near the inmates and they commit suicide they are some how classed as unconscious but if the devs made this dark secret then it goes to show that they have humour but it’s most likely a bug if it was then the AI must of thought batman was somehow over the stone fence which makes no sense because Batman would be at an invisible wall at the top of the sea and it would look like in the AI perspective that batman was floating and walking in air that’s my theory lol I didn’t mean to get that to deep.
The amount of dialogue that Rocksteady recorded for these thugs in each game (quickly becoming one of Arkham's defining traits) is amazing to me. I've never heard this dialogue before but Arkham City is filled with the creepiest thug conversations of the whole series, they sold the desperation the thugs are feeling trapped in a freezing prison with no food.
One that got me was "We handed Freeze's wife to the other guys" "Really? Is she hot?" "I mean I guess she was. In a near death cold sort of way" "Nice" "Dude wtf" Lol
@@sirvarious229 Its the second time you go to the Steel Mill, right after the Freeze boss fight. Head over to the back where there is a Predator section and there are these goons that will talk about it.
You left out the line that really seals the creepy deal: "Look at this point if I see a nice piece of skirt come my way, I don't mind if it's a little cold. Know what I'm sayin?"
I love how Arkham City is full of all kinds of diverse criminals. Some are more introvert and quiet. Others want to be in gangs. Others are legitimate psychopaths like Joker's crew. Penguin's thugs are apparently ex mercenaries and tough prisoners who survived the fight pit. Joker highers whoever but on certain days he orders his men to kill and torture people. The Two face gang progressively get more popular as the story goes on. Lots of detail that Arkham knight would sadly lack. In that game, all the thugs just blend together
yes but remember just because knight lacks this specific thing doesn't mean city is better than knight. Knight is still way better than city in almost every way possible including the writing and story of the game, the horror element in that game is what makea the game an instant masterpiece. Knight is still infinitely times better
The thugs are actually talking about a real life event- the Andes Plane Crash 1972, where the survivors of the crash fed on the dead people to avoid starvation. But the reason why this plane crash is very famous is bcuz in one of the pictures taken of the survivors, next to the guy sitting on the seat, there's a human spine. Imo its not that graphic but u may be slightly disturbed but if ur curious search for 'Andes plane crash spine' and one of the images would prob highlight the spine.

They ate him because they figured he was already dead and the whole ordeal was his fault) and eventually found someone to contact the authorities so the rest could be rescued. The story was all over the news as their survival was a miracle. Eventually they found out what they ate to survive and they went from heroes in the public eye to monsters. It's a pretty crazy story. And one that makes you think about stuff.

Arkham City had darker dialogue lines than Knight for sure. Thugs pretty much threatened to rape Catwoman with some lines during fights, for example. Knight toned that down.
I dunno. Professor Pyg seemed to rival the dark things in Arkham City, along with Jason Todd's torment. Arkham Knight is rated M while Arkham City is rated T.
The funny thing is, these thugs are already in prison. Since City is a prison. You are just beating down thugs because it's fun and it serves no purpose

Not exactly, at the beginning of the game when Bruce is giving his speech there are shown to be innocent people attending who get caught up in the lockdown for protocol 10. You can even encounter thugs in the game who are beating some of these people senseless in alleyways. These guys are dangerous criminals, some of them even join into certain factions like with Penguin and Two Face. So it's not without purpose, since alot of their conversations show that they're willing to torture and kill to get what they want.
Idk why but the player throwing Batarangs at the defeated thug it's a bit funny and also cute. Like when a little kid smacks you with a teddy bear or something. It's hard to explain but It's like the player is showing that he is glad he defeated that creep and wanted to explicity show it... The "screw you" basically.
I always found it funny how in Arkham city that Batman is just beating the shit out of people already in jail 😂 like these dudes were just trying to chill and survive and you can just decide to kick TS out of em 😂😂
I've been replaying this game recently. Still one of the greatest. The controls are so smooth and effective that you start to actually feel like you're Batman.😅
To be fair though, there is a cannibalistic Batman villain called Cornelius Stirk who weaponizes fear in order for the victims' hearts to pump noreprinphrine... which Stirk has disillusioned himself into believing is the nutrient he needs to live... so he eats the hearts of his victims. In real life, he'd fit right in with the elites and globalists in their pursuit of trafficking children for adrenochrome.

Some of the dialogue you hear in Knight is still pretty good stuff though, but you're right that it does lack the diversity that this one had.
