When you think about it, some thugs in Knight got it horrible when Batman was battling the Joker Toxin and Fear Gas.
At one part of the game, Batman is canonically beating the brakes off the guys more brutally than ever before and he's picking them back up to continue messing them up. The thugs are literally begging you to stop even after being "trained" on how to fight Batman
