In the original (good) version of Ikari Warriors (the arcade), you can't get the helicopter at all. There is a helicopter, but it's just something attacking you you have to blow up. There is no point in the game at all when you can actually get in a helicopter. You can actually get the original arcade versions of all 3 Ikari Warriors games on the Switch now.

I really like 4:42 part since I remember back then also thinking "Where is the theme song? Why newest episodes doesn't have a theme song anymore?" since others felt the same I like how James even look at camera and says "I know." to make sure he heard feedback. :D And since AVGN arrives when they are ready it's always feel like "welcome back" when new episode appears on net without warning and "He is gonna take you back to the past."

@@HughJassole420 gotta agree. i have nothing against him normally, but he's usually used a lot better & this whole episode seems to exist just so he can noodle around on his unplugged guitar, doing his uninspired flight of the conchords shtick and wailing out of key, just naming things that are in the game. this game is shitty enough to where james probably could've come up with lots to say about it but most of the gameplay is just background footage to his buddy's, ah, let's be nice and call it "improvisational humor." on a guitar with dead strings that sound like they haven't been changed in years. 30 seconds of it would've been tolerable but the whole video? jesus. definitely not one of AVGN's better episodes.

You know what makes this episode so good? It doesn't just have scripted footage in it. A lot of spontaneous jokes and reactions are in it as well.
Amazing how Kyle can just pull lyrics out of his ass and come up with funny songs on the spot, that actually sound pretty good too! lol Kyle deserves his own couch, man... or nice comfy Lay-Z-boy to chill in.
